Well, I don't think the laws work effectively. But at least, no church or entity can conduct same sex marriage in Nigeria and go free.

So, you see, as we engage the mercies of God, we must see to it that we are repentant indeed. We must forsake our sins and turn back to God. It means, as a nation, we must decide to do away with terrible things like kidnapping, murders, corruption, tribalism, etc. As an individual, you too must do away with your personal sins - pride, sexual immorality, malice, alcoholism, telling lies, stealing, etc.

Once we are repentant, we will easily attract God's mercies sufficient to transform our nation.

So, take time to pray for God's mercy over our land today. And if you need encouragements, then here are three great reasons you need pray for Nigeria today:

1. God has great plans for this country. You can partner with God to make His perfect Will a reality in Nigeria.
2. God has a reason for making you a Nigerian. Nigeria is yours and your earthly home. You are a major stakeholder.
3. The country needs as much prayers as she can get right now. The truth is, there is a limitation to what humans can do to transform this country. We really need God's help.

Did you use photochromic glasses? Bc that is the only glass that will protect eyes from the dsngerous UV rays. Those rays are more harmful than the arc brightness.

I know that this is a very intense week for Nigerians....emotions on 100.
As the country is weighing so heavily on my heart, I went back to this thread I created in 2020 when my country had just announced the election results.
Nigerians--especially the Christians--were so heavily invested. The results did not reveal what so many believed "was a sure thing", "a done deal".

All I want to say, as I am not a political junkie, is that just as Nigeria and the world were watching our elections back in 2020, a massive portion of the world is watching yours.... very intently. More prayers have and are going up for this specific election probably more than any election in the past 10 years or so.

However, I say to you "now" what I said to you above in 2020:
The Almighty Lord sits on His throne and still is, was and forever will be God NO MATTER THE RESULTS.
Pray for His Will to be done--even if you have a specific candidate.
We can never fully know the mind of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel. He graciously allows us to know what we NEED to know for now. Nothing escapes God---nothing at all. No devices of men, affairs of men, motives--be they good or bad etc...nothing. And you guys need to know that.

Know that Nigeria is being heavily lifted to the Lord concerning the 25th.

Welcome. Just that I dont like it when people spend years to study sth and at the end they just abandone it.

First problem: this setup doesn't work in urban settlements where most people live in flats and have to follow the rules of the landlord. Carrying in tank load of dirty stinky water definitely counts as breaking the rules. So it's only suited for house owners.

Second Problem: the electricity output especially based on the large volume of input doesn't make it a viable option in the least. Solid bio energy is even better but the power output is still low

Third Problem: a lot of Nigerians don't have the means to get the required equipment needed for this. How and where can we get the equipment to do this and is it something one can easily install in his backyard without any major technical know-how (seeing as this is a new technology, it's not something your average street technician would be able to do).


Basically, in all things, make it applicable to the fellow country man.

1. You don't need a tank laod of water to generate some electricity. It can be a small flow-through system where the water flows in and then out. Most home wastewater end up in gutters. If you can treat it and also get energy out of it, it is a good achievement.

2. The large volume input is wastewater. You are not buying it.

3. This is not meant for every nigeria. It is suitable only for people who have the zeal to figure it out. Most Nigerians are not like that. A simple MFC can be made from earthenware pots and pencil leads as the electrodes.

Generation of electricity using microbial fuel cells. We were 3 in the group that did the project. We test for the voltage ⚡ in the cell then. We did this project in sub division of civil and environmental Engineering which is water and wastewater engineering.

So unfortunate . But I will advise you not to give up. Search for bizness ideas and try them out. If you can produce probiotics economically, you can sell it to livestock and poultry farmers. So long as you know theory, you can figure out the practical aspect using google and youtube.
