Super Eagles and Bayer Leverkusen forward, Victor Boniface, has left Nigerians reeling with laughter on social media after he started doing manual labour.

The Argentina national team is under fire for singing r@c!st chants about French footballers while celebrating their Copa America win.

Argentina defeated Colombia 1-0 at Hard Rock Stadium to retain their Copa America crown on Sunday night, July 14.

Before Argentina won that trophy, Argentine fans were filmed singing about how France’s players were ‘all from Angola,’ and how ‘they f*** transvestites like f***ing Mbappe’ (an apparent reference to the star’s previously reported romance with transgender model, Ines Rau).

After the match, Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez posted a video of himself and his Argentine teammate celebrating and singing the r@c!st chants on the team bus in the wake of their Copa América victory.

The offensive and r@c!st chant mocked the African origins of black players within the French squad, including captain Kylian Mbappé.

The vulgar chant includes lyrics such as: “They play for France but come from Angola” and “Their mother is Nigerian, their father is Cambodian but on their passport: France.”

Fans on social media slammed Argentina for singing the song.

‘Argentinians are disgusting,’ one wrote.

‘Useless footballer. Useless human being,’ one said of Fernandez.

‘Somebody tell me this is a joke,’ another said.

A recent report also said that the enrollment of non-EU students in a third of UK universities dropped significantly, doubling on the decline from previous year. Because of the decline in international students enrollment which previously contributed to the revenue of universities, some universities have responded by cutting their work force while others have reduced entry standards to attract high-paying international students.

Another report which identified India and Nigeria as source markets for UK universities, stated that financial modelling by PwC "indicates that anywhere from 51% to 80% of UK universities could fall into deficit if international enrolments decline from 2024/25 onwards".

So while Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Home Secretary James Cleverly are celebrating the decline in dependants, they are afraid to highlight the damage they have done to the UK university system.

Same way, Nigel Farage, former UK Independence Party (UKIP), blamed the UK government for forcing their medical personnel to migrate abroad and poaching such services from poor African nations.

The UK migration policies under the Conservatives have flip-flopped over the years. Their inconsistencies affect long-term planning.

I pray they lose their next elections.

Please, if you have the funds, do not waste it in the UK. Many immigrants are looking towards United States and Australia. New Zealand is not bad. Also Germany, Republic of Ireland, Finland and Sweden. I did not mention Canada as I feel those ones have reached a saturation point after selling immigration for years.

First of all, 99% of the People who travel abroad do NOT do it to make money. So the premise of her NONSENSE argument is flawed.

The amount of money that is needed to complete the process of emigration in Nigeria is MIND-BOGGLING! The idea that it's ONLY poor people looking for money that choose to travel to UK, Europe, USA, Canada, etc is just plain DUMB!

It's even dumber when you consider the fact that a 40-year old man is UNLIKELY to receive external support to finance his plans.

People who travel do it to get AWAY from the economic quagmire, political instability, infrastructural collapse and the general LAWLESSNESS that is the hallmark of the Nigerian society.

Put simply, people travel out to get a better quality of life for themselves and their families.

Anyone who thinks people are fleeing Nigeria to make money is just being DELIBERATELY obtuse.

She's advocating for staying in Nigeria and "looking for money in dirty places". She doesn't realize that all the money in Nigeria would make no difference if you fall sick and the hospitals do NOT have ordinary X-ray machine to help with the diagnosis.
