Mere visiting a Christ Embassy churchor seeing its members, your heart will be forced to think about séx. How can a church allow people to wear micro- mini skirts with big breasts and nípples almost falling out? Why won't the woman suspect the man of adultery? She's a woman and she knows how decent women should dress. One pastor said 'Christ Embassy is a social club' where the name of Jesus is just mentioned. Well i dont know how true; but it is bad to allow ladies to wear just pants to church in the name of vigil and not expect the women to suspect the men(their husbands): dressing matters in marriage, dressing matters in heaven: Jesus did not come to make people naked and nude by faith, He came to make us all holy by faith ![]() |
Answer: When we use the word “jealous,” we use it in a sense of being envious of someone who has something we do not have. This kind of jealousy is a sin and is not characteristic of a Christian; rather, it shows that we are still being controlled by our own desires (1 Corinthians 3:3). Galatians 5:26 says, “Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.” |

The Federal Government has directed that all private and public primary and secondary schools should remain closed till 13th October, 2014 as a preventive measure against the spread of Ebola Virus Disease. The preventive measures are decisions reached in a meeting the Minister of Education held with State Commissioners of Education in Abuja on tuesday. This measure was announced by the Minister of Education, Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau. He said that any private school that fails to comply will be duly sanctioned by the State Ministry of Education. The Minister said that the government will go to any length to punish any school that fails to comply. He added all the State Ministries of Education are to immediately organise and ensure that at least two staff in each school, both public and private are trained on how to handle any suspected Ebola case. Shekarau said the training of the staff on health must be concluded by 15th September, 2015. Shekarau said that he would meet with all State Commissioners of Education on 23rd September, 2014 to appraise the situation. www.businessdayonline.com/2014/08/ebola-fg-directs-all-schools-to-resume-october-13/ |
Glo Jolof, a product that offers subscribers the lowest recharge option in the country at N25 with three minutes of call time and three sms, has been launched by Globacom to lower the bar for Nigerian telecommunication subscribers to make calls at pocket friendly rates. Two of the three minutes are for calls within the Globacom network while the third is available for the subscriber to call any other network. All the three sms are on net. Also introduced under the Glo Jolof package is the N50 recharge string, which gives the subscriber 6 minutes of call time and 6 SMS, thus giving telecommunication subscribers more value for money. Out of the six minutes of call time, four are for calls within the network while two are for calls to other networks. The six short messaging services (sms) are for on net utilization. The tantalizing benefit is valid until midnight of the same day of recharge. Announcing the product in a statement on Sunday, Globacom’s Head, Business Support, Mr. Yomi Ogunbamowo explained that the proudly Nigerian company designed “Glo Jolof” in fulfillment of its brand promise to continue to give subscribers a delightful experience on the Globacom network at pocket-friendly rates. He said, “it is very easy to benefit from this offer. Subscribers willing to utilise the N25 or N50 recharge strings should dial *0805*25# or *0805*50# respectively and the value of N25 or N50 as appropriate will be deducted from the account balance of the subscriber. The subscriber can then use the N25 or N50 respectively to enjoy the special bundle of three minutes and six minutes for calls as well as three sms and six sms. Ogunbamowo said as long as subscribers have sufficient balance of N25 or N50, they can dial the recharge string and enjoy the benefits, adding that the value a subscriber would get from the N25 and N50 recharge strings is almost double the value the subscriber would have gotten if he or she made the calls or send sms from his or her main account credit balance. www.gloworld.com/nigeria/news-and-education/glo-launches-jolof-offers-n25-n50-recharge-options/ |

We would have appreciated it if they had called it off on the news of the Ebola outbreak. They should continue with the strike and not use Ebola as the reason for calling off the strike. It has to do with the federal govts sack/ suspension. We cant be fooled |
The Nigerian Medical Association [NMA] has suspended its 65- day old strike action. The body’s President, Kayode Obembe, told journalists the association’s delegates resolved to suspend the industrial action in the interest of the ongoing public health issues in the country (Ebola outbreak). He said all Nigerian doctors are expected to report to work on Monday. Mr. Obembe said the delegates also resolved among others that the Federal Government recall all suspended resident doctors without punitive measures. Over 16, 000 resident doctors where suspended by the Federal Ministry of Health following a presidential directive. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/featured-news/167212-breaking-nigerian-doctors-call-off-strike-to-resume-work-monday.html www.dailypost.ng/2014/08/24/breaking-nma-calls-strike-directs-doctors-resume-monday/ |

The attitude of Nigerians as it relates to constructive contribution to national matters should be decried. When a matter is raised on a platform as this, please comment in alignment with the subject matter. It should be emphasized that the Government is not the problem of Nigeria! Nigerians are the problem of Nigeria. Government personnel comes from the people not the moon, and at the grass root/family level, we still have the character deficiencies we cry about in our government personnel. Change is a function of a mentally free people. Don't kick at the government, kick at mental slavery. Decide to be an agent for change! Lead your homes right, and transfer same to the community, then your state and the country at large. Change does not begin with the government, it begins with the people! |
