1. Ivanovic is having a nightmare (for 2 matches now) 2. Another set piece wahala This will be a game of 2 halves but meanwhile, this is a very sluggish start from Chelsea. |
We need to improve on our passes and overall play. |

Amodu! What can I say? I don't know why any coach will ever say this and this manage the national team?! Perhaps only in Nigeria. |
debosky:Tales by moonlight. Aberra-what? Such won't happen. Forget it. But what is hard for you guys to understand? Did I say we are unstoppable or that it will be hard to stop us? Even if our lead like you said evaporated - Need I remind you that we still top this same league? Now, we have it at the back of our mind that a win over you arses will even make things easier for us. I'd rather be 7 points ahead than a point or 2 That is dangerous. I don't see this as a match against the so called BIG four. I see this as another match/opportunity to open up some gap. I'm here posting on your thread because the match is against you. I would have done same if there was a thread for HULL city.
I hope you know you are yet to play @ Old Trafford and Anfield. Beating/not beating Arsenal at this stage means nowt. There are still many games to go. . . . . .If you open a gap of 8 points, i won't be worried at this stage. SAF and his troops have been in this shyte before. . . . .They know what is required to stop Chelsea's juggernaut.
Aston Villa beat you there so what are you saying? Beating them (as_snal) mean something. . .cos if we don't, you will close the gap on us, which I believe no sane Chelsian wants. We have an away match tonight and even after getting the vital 3 points and then thunking as_snal - The deal is not done. If after April 3rd 2010 we are 8 points (or more) clear - Then I will tell you that we will be Champions. Mind you, nothing indicating that you won't lose your next match or the one after because it seems to me that AF's only goal this season is to useless AW. Since that's accomplished, guess your team won't be motivated any more. You won't find me boasting any where saying we will beat as_snal but saying they will win simply because they are bruised? No, it won't happen. We don't want you breathing down our necks. |
DD to start tonight against Hull and I hope to God we don't drop points. |
Whatever happens on Sunday, Chelsea will still be at the top of the table unless you drop points tonight. This situation creates a false belief. . . . .as long as your position is not threatened there's a tendency for the players to be complacent. Arsenal will be out of the title race if they lose again next weekend. I don't think a manager who hasn't won nowt in 5 seasons can afford that so he will do everything possible to win on Sunday. They need it more than Chelsea. . . . . .There's no question about that and this is a derby game(It does not matter if you have beaten em 1000 times in the past).
To be frank, I'm more concerned about tonites match than Sundays. It won't be a new thing for them arses to be out of title race early february. Meanwhile, you are clearly underestimating the "killer" instinct JM brought along. Both teams will step on the pitch with different mind sets but that is not to say that it is a done deal for them. We need to hit hem hard and then send cold sweat down your (MU) spine. We know that if we beat them. . .it will be very hard to stop us. |
I analyse situations as it is. Nothing to do with backing Arsenal or stabbing them. I will be scared to face Arsenal after they got mauled at the Emirates. . . . .I don't think Wenger will be patting the backs of his players this week in their training sessions. . . .He will be cussing them so it's only natural to see a new-improved Arsenal going for the jugular next week. Don't be surprised if Arsenal score 2 goals in the first 15 minutes next week. . . . .U heard it here FIRST. Just do what is necessary. Weed off the flops like Denilson & Nasri and it's obvious Clichy is past it. 4-2-3-1 with Bendtner as the lone striker should worry Chelsea.
Cock and bull story. The only thing them as_snal can do is to score 2 own-goals in the last 15 mins. |
Arsenal need it more. . . . Don't kid yourself about what happened last Sunday. Arsenal will create tonnes of chances at SB and after what happened last time, they won't miss too many. I like the fact that they will go to SB with blood in their eyes. . . . . . . .Expect a blood bath at the Bridge synonymous to St. Valentine's day massacre.
That is where you are making the mistake. By thunking them again, we will open up a healthy gap on the table. Them arses always create chances. Converting them and then defending I, think is the key here. Me, I, no dey boast but come Sunday. . . @HNIC, you can be too honest sometimes. ![]() |
v3:Story . He knows what he is doing and we have seen this before. He will do anything just to get at Chelsea -remember as it stands, only Chelsea can stop them from winning the trophy.Mind you, he will be here to remind you just how useless you are/were. |
It depends on the Chelsea players that turn up. . . . . At best, Chelsea will get a DRAW otherwise. . . .I see a convincing Arsenal victory.
You see nothing. Simply becos you smashed their arses means Chelsea will be there to make up numbers? You think we don't need the 3 points? |
They will come to SB and win.

All i know is Arsenal will cop at least a point at the Bridge on Sunday.
Take a stand man. You said same before the Emirati match. Same excuse. . .same reason and they got thunked 3 -0. Once again, you will be disappointed. |

Fathers will be able to take up to six months off on paternity leave while their baby’s mother returns to work, the Government will announce today. They will have a legal right to take the place of the mother at home for the last three months of her nine-month maternity break. Fathers would be eligible during that three-month paternity leave to statutory government pay of £123 a week. They would then be allowed to take an additional unpaid three months off, in effect providing families with 12 months of parental leave. Ministers believe the measure would allow mothers who earn more than their partners to return to work earlier than would otherwise have been possible. Government data has shown that about 350,000 working mothers give birth every year. Two thirds return to work. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/7087735/Fathers-to-get-six-months-of-paternity-leave.html ----- I'm just wondering if this will ever work in Nigeria? |

NFF TO DECIDE AMODU FUTURE FRIDAY Shuaibu Amodu's future as Nigeria coach will be decided on Friday when the Executive Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation meet for an emergency session in Abuja. "Top on the agenda is the issue of the overhauling of the technical crew and playing squad of the national football team, Super Eagles, in order to engender keen competition for places in the team towards Nigeria performing creditably at the Fifa World Cup finals coming up in South Africa in the summer," NFF Chief Media Officer Ademola Olajire said on Monday. "A comprehensive report of Nigeria’s performance in Angola has already been prepared by the NFF Technical Committee." The tone of Olajire's statement suggested that the NFF, which has backed Amodu through his travails with the media and fans, are displeased with the coach. "Even as the Super Eagles finished third at the African Nations Cup finals in Angola, the fourth time they would be picking the bronze medal in the past five editions of the competition, it has become inevitable to overhaul the technical team and playing body. "Two –time African champions Nigeria fell 0-1 to a youthful Ghanaian squad that exhibited great tactical discipline and stayed true to its game plan. The Eagles failed to find a way round the Ghanaian team despite having 70 minutes to equalize after Asamoah Gyan’s goal for the Black Stars," Olajire added. Friday’s meeting, Olajire further said, is also expected to deliberate extensively on the best way to prepare the Nigeria team for a good outing at the World Cup finals. While Hassan Shehatta is celebrating his trio of victory, Africa giants, Nigeria – though her coach Shaibu Amodu has decalared in a case of twisted humour that he is proud of his dull bronze. Last Saturday in Angola, Obinna Nsofor scored the match winner in the 55th minute of the third place match after he sprinted through a crowded Algerian defence before slotting past diving goalkeeper Lamine Zemmamouche. The victory gave the Super Eagles theiri seventh third-place finish at the Africa football fiesta. The country has been taking home the black metal since 1976. Other bronzed years for the team, from Green Eagles to Super Eagles were ‘78, '92, 2002, 2004 and 2006. Amodu said he was at least satisfied his team finished in third even though their target was to win the championship. "The match was above average especially in the first half and we started with a little bit of fear. Any team that scored first would have won the game. However, we had to psyche ourselves because we needed to win the third place," he said. "We have done well enough even though we may not have played to our full potential, but with longer preparations we can do a lot better. We improved with each game, we were not at our best in Angola but we can be better before the World Cup." Not bothered the fact that given the weapons he had and the scant achievement he recorded, that he was already an abject failure, he dismissed speculations that he could be fired before the World Cup in June. "I have never been bothered about speculation about my future because they are just speculation. My employers are satisfied with my work," he said. http://www.thisdayonline.com/nview.php?id=165480 |

A judge in England on Friday dismissed the case against Obafemi Martins brought by his former representatives NVA Management, describing the players as 'a naïve and unsophisticated young man with massive amounts of money who was very vulnerable to more sophisticated operators lacking in scruples'. In dismissing the case, Judge Richard Seymour, QC ruled that NVA failed to provide evidence that it provided services for Martins warranting the payment of nearly GBP300 000. Judge Seymour accused NVA's Nathaniel of being 'prone to gross exaggeration', adding that he was 'unimpressed by Mr Nathaniel as a witness': "His style of speech and presentation were superficially attractive, but often the style obscured a lack of content. "I am satisfied that Mr. Nathaniel dazzled Mr. Martins, with the prospects of a glittering business relationship with people from show business, into signing documents which Mr. Martins thought would lead him in that direction." By contrast, the Judge was kind to Martins. "I was impressed by Mr. Martins as an honest and honourable man, doing his best, within the limits of his understanding of the English language and his ability to communicate his thoughts accurately in that language, to give a true and correct account of his dealings with Mr. Nathaniel. I accept his evidence without reservation. In short, it seems to me that Mr. Martins was, in 2007, a naïve and unsophisticated young man with massive amounts of money who was very vulnerable to more sophisticated operators lacking in scruples," Judge Seymour said in his judgement. http://www.kickoff.com/static/news/article.php?id=13654 |

Ok, now seriously. . .is the EPL this weak? oh no, I didn't ask that or did I? ![]() Because anyone watching this match in HD should notice that as_snal are the most useless team in the EPL. How are they in 3rd position? All style and no substance. AW should be managing U-21 sides. He will perform better there. Oh yes, they have history. . .so does Italy and Turkey. But where are they today? Yeah! at the back seat. |
