Once a nazi always a nazi. The dunderhead can go shoot himself. Who cares. |
May I say anyone who thinks that these are the best players we have in Nigeria is simply deceiving him or herself? Notwithstanding I still support them (and will always do) and ONLY because they are wearing the colors of my country. If stats were the keys to all victory then minnows would never have had their chances. I can bet even Amodu is not impressed with himself (he shouldn't be). If that is the "best" he can produce, I dare say that the SE have no future. You can quote me any where. ![]() |
Thank You Dear Lord!!! |
As the issue of whether the current chief coach of the Super Eagles, Shaibu Amodu should lead the team to the World Cup Finals of South Africa or not, the chief coach of the Namibia national team, Belgian Tom Saintfiet recently threw his hat into the ring, stating the reasons he thinks he should be considered as the man to do the job of taking Nigeria to the Nirvana everyone in the country has been dreaming about and salivating on. http://www.thisdayonline.com/nview.php?id=165143 |

ANC SEMIS NOT AMODU JOB CONDITION A top official of the Nigeria Football Federation has told KickOffNigeria.com that reaching the semifinal of the Africa Cup of Nations was not a contractual pre-condition for Shuaibu Amodu to keep his job. Instead, the contract only stipulates the semifinal target as a condition for renewing his contract when the current deal runs out in August. Prior to the tournament, the general belief in the country had been that the coach's job was conditional on his leading the team to the tournament's semifinal. Hours after he did so, however, an official told KickOffNigeria.com that that was not the case. "We laugh when we read these things in the media. There is nowhere in Amodu's contract where it says he has to reach the semifinal in order to take the team to the World Cup. "What his contract says is that he should qualify the team for the Nations Cup and the World Cup and take the team to both competitions. The contract ends in August, after the World Cup, but the contract says if he reaches the semifinal of the Nations Cup, then he gets a renewal, in August," said the official, who declined to be named. Another official said after the PTF handed down the Presidential directive to fire Amodu, that element of the contract was brought to their notice, and it was agreed that even if a foreign coach was brought in, Amodu would remain as part of the coaching set-up. It is not clear however, how such an arrangement would work without friction. Colin Udoh http://www.kickoff.com/static/news/article.php?id=13589 |
Happy Birthday. Sorry just seeing this now. |
ochukoccna:blimey!! Did you watch the game?! Why do people talk like this? Murray gave Nadal some serious tennis lessons. He was on TOP throughout. Nadal had no breathing space at all. Forget the injury 'cos Murray was leading by 2 sets to love and in the 3rd set he was 3-0 up. So what the heck are you talking about? Truth is Andy was terrific tonight. It was game, set and match. ![]() |
Murray 6 - 3 Nadal (First Set) Murray 7 - 6 Nadal (Second Set) Murray 3- 0 Nadal (Third set) And Nadal retires. Murray wins. |
