i think some of you judge Mikel with your premiership Badbelle for chelsea.

when jay jay started playing for Nigeria can any of u remember the amount of free kicks and faulty passes he was making?? and what does he do then he smiles and laughs. maybe a lot of u were young then.

Mikel plays intelligent football, he made intelligent passes today, is he obafemi that cannot fly and head a goal or Fat Yak that needs to trap a ball b4 he scores??

if u watch the games objectively Mikel have played good football, it is not easy to transform from a defensive Midfielder to an attacking midfielder overnight, all the time Oruma was playing for Nigeria as an attacking Midfielder we still complain

the problem is the coach, he does not have a gameplan, leave the players alone

it is the same players that capello is using that mclauren could not produce results with.
the coach needs to add additions to the team and probably his Gamble with Ikechukwu Uche did not work out. if u noticed AModu's problems started when Uche became injured then we saw the open hole in the middle.l
God bless you real good.  You really know footie.  cool
He made at least 4-5 vital intelligent passes good enough to kill off any game.
Needless to add, yes he certainly has room for improvement.

but to be fair to Amodu, today the strikers were simply out of sorts

lets hope we'll improve at the mundial

lets cheer up guys
its not all gloom
you still dey Qatar?  grin
Yes to be fair them strikers just left their scoring boots at home (or wherever it is) but then Ghana offered next to nothing.
1 chance 1 goal. . .heck there are U-21 for goodness sake.
No we have no excuse.

Ask your Amodu.
I thought he was your saviour.
That impotent dickhead called sagamite with his hollow wisdom was brain-washing folks like you on that idiot called Amodu, and you took his talk hook, line and sinker.
I wonder what that jacka$$ is doing on this thread. He should send the original post for this thread for a Ph.D thesis in Physical Education.
He's a bonafide prude
chimp2imp,
Guy Benin,Mozambique,Kenya ,Sierra Leone,Equatorial Guinea et al cannot be termed as opposition.Ghana and Egypt are.And we lost to them in under two weeks.
If those minnows are your basis for results, then you're a mediocre.
yaaaaaaaaaaaaay! grin grin grin
@Eastbay, you are one funny dude. Even when you are angry you still manage crack jokes. grin grin grin
Sports › Re: Nigeria Vs Ghana [0 - 1] by FBS: 7:14pm On Jan 28, 2010
OK. Ghana scored a goal and thereafter packed the bus. What sort of tactic is that?  grin
But when I remember that the majority of Ghanaian players from the are from the U-21 squad?  shocked There is nothing much I can say.

The SE were woeful, disgraceful and played irritating football (bar an excellent 30 mins against Egypt in the opening match) and stumbled to the semis but only to be thunked by their junior brothers. Hope some vital lessons were picked up. 3rd place match here they come.

Let it be known that I, FBS, supported them through and thorough (and will always support whoever plays for Nigeria) and now I ask, which way forward?

In fact right now, I'm having mixed feelings.

im stupefied
what is beautiful about the game we are playing?

the boring games we played we scaled thru cos of luck

This cant be cos the players aint gud
somthing is fundamentally wrong with the whole set up

how can we not be able to play these set of Black Stars (useless in me opinion)

nyways, we need a technical adviser to assist Amodu for WC or else, it will be a monumental disgrace for the whole nation if we play like this at the mundial
Lets face it, very few are good in this squad. . .even fewer are WC material.
We just have to beat this Ghanaian team. They are playing next to nothing.

Not a bad 1st half but they clearly need to improve and take their chances.

@pres-elect
Obama took his eye off the ball, he thinks making speeches will solve the probelm, he's a lame duck president and unfortunanetely a one term president, he's going to be like Jimmy Carter, the democrats candidate was a very very poor candiate, its no longer Yes We Can, its now No We Can't, d republican's want him to fail as well as the likes of Glen Beck and his other friends on Fox News, while Fox News were throwing Tea Parties, he was busy entertaining all those celebrities. It took him and the other democrates for ever to get to the second stage of d Health Reform Bill. Republican's have won 3 seats so far and am sure they will win more in the November mid-term elections, he can still turn things round if he stops making those long speeches, temporary abandon the Health Care Bill, stop entertaining celebrities, stop fighting with Fox News, stay in Washington, no more photo op's and get the enonomy back, dat's all he needs, We 've seen too much of Michelle as well as,
Can you describe the meaning of a lame duck president?
Just how do you expect him to solve all the problems in just one year left behind by a true lame duck president who happened to be republican?  undecided

The so called conservatives are America's GREATEST problem.
