mkbessman:I thought as much Definitely more expensive |
oscaruzie:I never said university graduate sir;I think you missed the part she wrote 'drop-out',you'd have seen clearly that I meant secondary school. |
gidimasters:Many users complain I guess the iPhone gets worse with the upgrade |
ajokebelle:People graduate really young now 15 years It's really possible and she looks young. |
zubby55:This is the best advice for you, coming from someone who earns the same amount as you do.Just learn to cut your coat according to your size. I hope your wife is the simple type too,who can manage funds well (&if possible, start earning something no matter how little it is)+ doesn't have too much expectations. If she is,I think you are good to go...I wish you all the best. Mr Zubby55 I hope you get to finish your house when you want to too, best of luck. |

Tbh, most of these people will send their kids to this school just because other people of the elite group like them have kids there. This kind of schools are mostly all about competition.Though I'm sure their curriculum wouldn't necessarily be like the typical Nigerian schools' own, but there are also other very very good schools in Lagos who can compete with them (especially those with a British curriculum)?and won't be more than a million naira or so per year, that I'm very sure of.It would have been better if the kids will really focus on their education. But I'm sure they'll care more about competing among themselves than their education, very few will live up to their parents expectations, except if they've a special method of making sure their students study well. |
kryptonian1987: don't insult us like that, please. We also have people who have achieved a lot especially doctors and professors.I accept, you don't see them achieving feats like this because they mostly have things the easy way, which makes them not so open to challenges.Mostly, all you need to do is graduate and you've either a father in most cases (if he's not poor) or your siblings (a household can have up to 10-20 kids, out of which many will be established business men even if not very rich) to help you start up something and settle down. And the ones that want to 'achieve feats like this' either don't have funds to sponsor themselves or someone to help them out ;afterall, as sad as it is,there's very little you can achieve in this country especially in fields like this.If you schooled in the north or had northerners as classmates, you'll know they are really intelligent.Though,I don't think intellect has anything to do with tribes. It's an individual thing.Let them get the chance especially the poor ones, because they are more open to challenges and tend to make better use of their brains ; & I'm sure you won't be saying this. |
soberdrunk:I'm telling you |
TerrorSquad147:but it's the truth now...apart from losing or gaining weight which should be for good reasons too,all of them are done by women with low esteem. |
Why live with a man you're not married to ? |
Asin!I wonder when ladies will stop doing these things , if someone can't love you for who you're then he's not worth being loved.Just be yourself and let the right person come along.Atleast if you must do some things eg lose/gain weight ,let it be for your own sake. |
God protect us from low self esteem and the need to always prove ourselves to others. So shameful and self demeaning . |
ironheart: Thank you sirWill check that out |
Achorise:Not possible....That's my state.I personally know females from Argungu that are very very educated. It has to be something else , definitely not education and enlightment...maybe,she has some other qualities which made her stand out from the rest. |
ironheart: wow you really hate it .Rav4,I don't really feel the car o and I think the car will be expensive , maybe the affordable 1 will be the 2004 model (I don't know much about cars). It's going to be a gift,so I've to choose something affordable.Recommend a nice one for me pls ..for ladies.Doesn't have to be an SUV or CUV,but something affordable, beautiful, durable & very manageable that will last long (maybe between 1-1.5m).I hope the list is not unrealistic for that amount |
whitebeard:Wow and the design is really eye-catching...thank you |
So,I saw this car a few months ago and I can't get it off my mind. It's a car I want to own Godwillingly,if it's affordable enough. But I don't really see it around neither do I see people talking about it.I think the first model was available in 2010 so it's fairly not a new car. Does it have issues ? Is it very expensive or just not popular ? Any other reasonable , affordable car with such a shape?

Please how much for Nissan Juke 2010 or 2011? |

I'm not buying it because I don't need it.Used to be a phone freak when I was younger;even though phones then weren't this expensive and the economy was good. But now that I'm almost graduating,my eyes don open well well;if you give me a 100,000 naira to get a phone,I wouldn't because I've better things to do with it.Who will even give you 400,000naira for a phone even without recession?Except if you're very rich or come from a very rich family. Even if someone gives me the phone as a gift,I'll sell it.I can't use a phone which I don't have its equivalent in cash in my account, just because I want to feel among.Luxury items are best enjoyed when you, yourself, are very comfortable. |
Phone manufacturers keep making money out of people's foolish decisions.I'm sure 95% of these people are buying it just to feel 'up-to-date'. Anyhow , Na iPhone 10 I dey wait for,I go use am for 10 years then buy iPhone 20 use am for 20 years. |

I'll give it to the fulanis...the nomadic ones most especially (The ones that look exactly like Ethiopians). It's very very hard to come across an ugly one, even the dark-skinned ones are extremely beautiful though they are not much. You tend to see them mostly in northern states like sokoto , Kebbi , Adamawa. They hardly wear any make up & with the sun and poverty, they don't take care of their skin like they should,no sunscreen or any toning lotion and soap.I'm a lady but when I see some,I can't take my eyes off them.I've also seen Igbo girls who are very beautiful but I think the competition for me is between - Shuwa Arabs who look like the north sudanese people,Fulani & Bororos (nomads too,I think they're also fulanis but have a different skin tone - more like Arabs & speak differently I guess) |
Nawao, what it means is that you slept with food and boss on your mind most probably or have been thinking of both lately |
Cletus77:Lol I didn't even realize I wrote it so long |
naijamakossa:Our bride price is not paid before we're born sir...Anyway,I've friends who got married even around 18 maybe after secondary school or when they're in their first year of university...and they still continued with their education, some the husbands even continue sponsoring the girl instead of her guardian (though most northern parents don't like that, except if they aren't well off). But what matters is the maturity. Is she matured enough to take care of her house? Most of our ladies marry between 18-23/24,so they tend to be ready for marriage. And the men tend to be very patient. As funny as it may sound,I've heard of families who even write a contract regarding this education & work issue. All of my friends who married around 18-20,are still happily married....It's really more about compatibility and being ready.I hope your sister understands the man very well and she thinks he's someone she can bear spending the rest of her life with.Is the man patient, can he over look most of her mistakes?Because,no matter how ready she is;she's still very young and he'll have bear some of the childish things she might do.And his character, what do you know about him?we've a norm in the north, the family of the girl usually take a long time investigating about the man before they accept him.I'll advice you to get as much information as you can,of the type of person he is,if possible. |
livinbygrace:You mean all these people you mentioned earn their money unlawfully? And matters of heaven/hell are left for God to decide ....but I wouldn't do anything unlawfully like this that can make God angry ...even though He's merciful,His mercy shouldn't be taken for granted. |
livinbygrace:Matters a lot o ...To God and the people that are being taken advantage of. |
olumaxi:so you mean all police officers are the same;you can't find anyone who'll do good without a selfish reason?Haba!Even peas in a pod tend to differ. |

don't insult us like that, please. We also have people who have achieved a lot especially doctors and professors.
, like say you no dey do any of them
