If you’re on here allowing agents to sway you with those cheap community colleges, you are wasting your time.

You will be denied visa. It’s straight denial

For anytime you do, do well to post your denial interview transcript.

If you’re choosing a community college. Consider your age and experience.

If you’re old 27 and above shooting for a community college, you’re wasting your damn time. You will be Denied.

If you can see all the Universities in the U.S. and chose a community college=Polytechnic for ONDs then you’re wasting your damn time because you will be DENIED.

Hello good evening. Please I need help with the DS-160 form: I don’t know who to say is paying for my trip.

I got funding from my school (about $55k), while the rest of the expenses will be covered by my employer and a relative.

So who do I say is paying for the trip? The school that’s providing most of the funding? Or my employer or relative?

I hope to get responses soon because my interview is in a few days. Thanks.
Are you going for undergraduate or graduate program? Whats the funding name or source? Is it an RA/GA/TA? How much is the deficit? Is the deficit for living expense? How much is your school fees?

Thank you so much for your response, I will tell him to take action according to your candid advice.
If he cannot get the hold taken off his record. His best bet is to apply wide and look for schools that will grant him funding

Thanks, please advise on how to schedule a visa appointment. I've paid the visa fee and I'm concerned that the date isn't immediately available. My resumption is next month.
You will have to wait. There is nothing you can do.

Keep checking your email and the portal. That’s all you can do.

Hey 🤠

1. Mr novice, someone applied for visa after 2 months of wedding and you do not think that it is because of date of marriage . NOW TELL US WHAT DO YOU THINK ?

2. You do not know how this works totally BUT YOU ARE CRITICING WHAT YOU DONT KNOW.

3. You are now suggesting that the OP who needs public idea and confuse to review his wife interview and suggest his own solution ? So there is no solution in your brain ? But you can mislead the OP by taking away the solution he has already gotten ?

Go and face your jobs in other threads. You dont have any visa and i doubt if you have a travel Passport. This adventure will not pay you. Dont join the failed groups.

Good morning house. Please I need your sincere guidance, a friend applied for MPower financing to fund his education at a school in the US. Then, he received an email that he is having a deficiency because ffrom his credit history, he borrowed certain amount of money in 2021 from UBA which he delayed for a month before he payed back. The delayed was caused because he changed job, and the former company did not pay him for the last month he w
irked with them.

Please who knows what can be done, or which organisation can be contacted in order to permanently remove the deficiency from his account history so that he will be able to be qualified to access the loan?

Do well not to respond to that charlatan who quoted you earlier. I don’t think there is anything you can do regarding your credit record of late payment. It’s a red flag and it has affected a lot of people who borrowed money from banks during the COVID-19 era. You can’t do anything about it.

But you can contact UBA so they can give you information on how you can get that history taken off your account. Here in the U.S. if you miss a payment and it goes on your record, it would take 7 years or so for it to fall off your account. You see how long that takes.

I don’t know the rules with Nigeria so you might need to check.

Hello guys.
I just got my I20 and I'm supposed to resume this August, what do you think about going to maybe Cameroon or Benin Republic to do my visa interview as they are no available appointment dates here in Abuja.
Thanks
You’re free to go there, if you can.

Hello everyone,
A non-family member is sponsoring me for my education. The deficit is about $22,000, and he has double that amount in his account. However, I'm concerned they might require more proof of my relationship with him. I'm 16 years old and pursuing my BSc. My sponsor is a family friend whom I've known for years. He promised that if I graduated from secondary school with good results and received any type of scholarship, he would cover the remaining expenses. Fortunately, I received a full tuition scholarship.
Please I really need advice on this 🙏
They do not demand for proof of relationship. Be upfront and tell them when asked who is your sponsor? Simply say,

I do have a full tuition scholarship that covers 99% of my tuition and my uncle would be covering the deficit.

They might ask you, why is your uncle sponsoring you. I mean they’ll want to know why your mum or dad isn’t.

You can go ahead and tell them that he is your uncle and your God father who have been in your life since primary and has promised to take care of my tertiary education.

Please is it possible to defer admission when one hasn't sent his/her financial statements?
Yes, you can defer your admission without sending in your bank statement or requesting for I-20.

Go ahead and defer, read their requirement and process for deferment

Hello Everyone,

Please help!

My spouse was denied an F-2 visa in May.
It seems the VO wasn’t very much convinced about the authenticity of our marriage because we had the marriage in March this year (I came home) and/or probably no strong home ties.
Now, we are planning on reapplying.

My questions;
1. Has been anyone been through this same situation before? How did you restrategize?

2. It’s been over a week and our request to schedule an appointment hasn’t been approved. Please what can we do?

Thank you.
How long have you been here in the US? Are you a Masters or PhD student?

Dear scholars,
I greet you all.
a friend actually refer me here concerning any question about student Visa and I have gather lot of info after going through the trends.
However I have a little concern about proof of fund.
1. My husband is here in Nigeria but his aunt which is in USA is the one that want to give her statement as proof of fund. Please what are the chances of influencing my visa approval?
2. Can I call her my aunt inlaw, or I should just say my aunt (note she is married so she is not bearing same surname with my husband)?
3. Is there any need for my husband to provide second proof of fund as support? (though he didn't have much that could cover my tuition fee but his aunt is 'rich-aunt' in USA).
4. She is legally in USA and ofcourse in medical line.
5. The total deficit is about $39,500, please what are my chances without scholarship?
I will sincerely appreciate your candid advice on these raised issues.
Thank you very much
Your husband’s aunt sponsoring you might be a red flag. I’ll advice you retrieve your I-20 in a different way. Can be your dad or your mum or look for a way to boost your husband’s account.

No matter how your supposed “rich aunty” is, I don’t see how she would fork out $40,000 per year just for you lol.

Medical doctor or no medical doctor. It is hard for anyone here to believe. I don’t even believe that myself.

Why not look for schools where you can get funding? If you can’t, then your best bet is to look for ways to boost your husband's account.

Please I have been searching for an early date for my visa appointment but seems none is available at the moment. My program is starting in August but my initial appointment available is in October. I need the early appointment date. I tried to get an EA but I was denied. My location is Abuja. I was told to keep trying the portal for new released date.
Please anyone who is also looking for a date? Please let’s connect
You should have followed the Rules of EA. It is stated clearly. You failed in that front.

Because some did and got it doesn’t mean everyone should.

please what in a situation someone got MS admission with 50% funding, but doesn't have parents or uncle with statements of accounts that could cover the remaining deficit. How do such person go about it? any way out?
My advice is for you to go like that and try your luck.

Visa officers most time do not ask you to provide a bank statement. I am not in anyway insinuating that they cannot ask or they don’t ask.

Have you gotten your I-20?

Hi @Debbieeeeeee,

Thank you for all your help and assistance. You’re one of the honest people who understands the inner works of US visa.

I came on here to help some few folks who are interested in understanding how to navigate their student visa process.

Back in 2012/2013, I was here like everyone else on here to navigate this visa process and came out successful and have helped tons of folks.

Thank you all for helping these lads to navigate visa process.

Help: @Debbieeeeeee, @OyoTunjiUSA, @fearlessfang

I have an issue at hand;

School B which I really want issued me with an i20 just after I got my F1 visa with school A. However, school B is doing a early summer rotation for my program which I have been asked to attend. This rotation starts a month earlier than the earliest resumption date on the i20 from school A that I got my visa with.

Question is: can I enter the US with the i20 from school B with an earlier resumption date way before the earlier resumption date on the i20 from school A that I got visa with
Congrats on your visa approval and admission.

1. I wouldn’t advise that you swap school at this point, it might affect you at POE. Why do you want to resume early?

2. If you want to go on with it, first email the school you got visa with their I-20, notifying them that you’ll like to transfer to a school that starts early (School B). They should be able to transfer your record to School B.

3. You can let school B also know the situation as they might have a transfer form for you to fill so you can submit to School A.

You don’t need to do anything with SEVP. Your school will do that for you.

NB: if you got a visa with a school’s I-20, you have to report that to them. Your Sevis record is tied to that school
