lol You just reinforced some of the points made by the “racoons”. One size doesn’t fits it all in terms of showing home ties. Either by having a good job, a family in Nigeria or whichever way, you need to show ties to Nigeria.

At end of they it’s still at the discretion of the VO, You might be jobless, single and still get approved.
Irritant peasant, I literally mentioned in my last message that it is at the discretion of the VO.

But you docile cowards being manned by a mannequin always fail to use the little sawdust left in your thick skull

CelebritiesRe: Court Reserves Bobrisky’s Judgment Till April 9 by fearlessfang: 4:06pm On Apr 05, 2024
Nigeria indeed a cesspool of criminals. There are hundreds of celebrities who abuse the Naira including Kwam 1. Deliberately targeting Bobrisky shows how corrupt and tact the system is designed.

I don’t see the reason why her bail conditions should be set at that ridiculous amount and sureties.

Please y'all should enlighten me on this issue.
I got my Visa fee around October last year (2023) and scheduled my appointment for Feb 2025.

Does that mean my MRV receipt will still be valid till the date choosen or not ?

I'm asking this question because it's duration is a year and am somehow confused.

Hoping to see early date thou.

Someone should put me through please.
Your MRV fee valid for one year means- You have one year to use it to book an appointment, once you use it to book an appointment it’s gone. So nothing like expiry again.

Since you have booked an appointment with it, nothing like expiry again, so you’re fine.

Hi please I will be glad to get your opinions on this issue. I am. Ghanaian and I'm married. I am in my early 30s. I got my b1/b2 visa in 2023. The reason of the first visit was for a conference. I indicated I will be spending 10days in my ds-160 form however I spent 3 weeks thats 21 days. I later on in the year went to the uS in December same year for the Christmas and New year holidays. For that I spent 4 weeks.
At the time I was entering the US for the second time I had already received admission for law program from two schools. But I still returned after my vacation and came back to apply for my F1 Visa. Here in Ghana you can use dropbox to change from b1/b2 visa to f1 which I did because I still have a valid us visa for four more years remaining.
I have a full tuition scholarship of $45,000 but i and my father are sponsoring the remainder of my other living expenses, fees and books which amounts to $26,000.
But when I did the dropbox the embassy asked for only my I-20 with no other supporting documents to be attached whether admissionor scholarship letter. Two weeks after the submission I received a refusal under 221g asking to schedule a follow-up interview.
Please I would like to find out what possible questions I should prepare for and if there's any red flag in my history I should prepare for.

I have a good job and good educational history. I already hol dan MBA from Ghana and I truly attended a conference, I have attendance certificate to back my claim.
Kindly help me with any Contribution
.
The reason you got a 221G is because you can only do a drop box for thesame class of visa.

F-1 and B1/B2 serve different purpose.

221G is not a refusal per so, it is more of an RFE, either they want further evidence, investigation or they will like to speak with you. Outright denial is 214b. 221G will state what is required of you.

Don’t fret, you’ll get your visa approved. Go with your I-20 and a visa interview will be done for F-1 visa for you.

NB- Be ready to prove to them why you need a second MBA.

I’m sorry but this is wrong! Or Do you mean you were already in Canada or Mexico studying, and you then apply for US F-1 visa, and of course attended the interview there, or you basically had to fly from Nigeria to Canada just for the interview , without having to show any home tie

Or you were basically renewing? If you were renewing , then you’d be right! But applying fresh, and you had to go to Canada to have ur interview, it might be sufficient to clarify this so that people won’t get confused
This is what you don’t understand.

Last fall, two of my friends did their fresh first time interview in Cameroon. PhD Utah and PhD RIT. Their visa was both approved.

I have friend who did his interview during his visit to UK for F-1, got it approved.

I renewed both of my visa in Canada and Mexico.

Now tell me, how did we all prove home tie to that country?

Hey 🤠

1. Now every one knows you are here because of me based on your last words and i knew your mission is to come and support @fearlessfang in the beginning.

2. Go away with your fake visa transcripts. It doesn't work for me . I have never flex muscle of travel histories. Its not a criterion for becoming a USA visa advisor or counselor.

3. I have worked as an apprentice under 3 different USA Visa Attorneys . I am still learning (correspondence program) Educational Psychology/Guidance and Counselling. I have worked personally as a travel agent (based on USA visa only) with offices for more than 15 years before i gave it up.

4. I am now an International Admission & Visa Consultant (Based on USA visa types alone). I am also a registered apprentice under a USA based Immigration Attorney. ** My plan is to become an American Immigration Attorney when i finally relocated .

5. Therefore , tell @fearlessfang, @Debieeeeeee and others of your click that my experiences is not based on having a USA visa or living inside USA.

6. I work online. With phones and laptops. I am constantly online because of businesses and courses. I have the time to use Nairaland as a training ground . Why are you counting the number of my responses?

A country filled with demented people whose innovation are only opening religious houses everywhere. Agent or not, welldone to everyone responding here. But we must also accept the fact that no one knows it all, else, our education is useless.

Mr OyoTunjiUSA, if people have to prove ties to the respective countries they're present in, rate of US visa issuance for Nigerians in foreign countries would be very low, but that's not the case.

While it may not compulsorily be your home country (depending on your visa status or engagement in the country you are at that moment), you must tie your visa interview response to going back somewhere after your studies.

It might be your home country as it is in the post I'm quoting or the country you're seeking visa from, if you're established and have ties there

To me, it doesn't look like these things have rigid restrictions as they're being painted here. And the whole back and forth is not necessary
You do not need to prove home tie to the country you are applying for visa from outside your home country. In as much as you prove to them that you are leaving the US after your studies sums it up. Thank you for shedding light.

I don't know why they think they know anything in the first place. lol. Well, you are a good example to further buttress all that I have shared

Hey 🤠

*** USA visa is not a piece of cake.
*** It is not a respecter of any person
*** It's not a respecter or your location .
*** It's a chameleon (u can't understand it).

1. Regardless of your current visitor's visa, you still have to qualify (just like a person who has not gotten any US visa b4) for your F1 visa to be granted.

2. While applying for your F1 visa, your current B1/B2 visa can even be revoked with prejudice (* you cannot apply for any visa and if you do, it will automatically be rejected) if your records shows abuse of your current B1/B2 visa.

3. You may even apply for change of status from B1/B2 to F1 filed on the Form I-539 but that means the only way you can enter the USA is by lying to the CBP officer at the port of entry , so it's highly inadvisable to pull this stunt.

4. Don't listen to anyone saying since you are in the UK and you have B1/B2 visa already , therefore it would be easier. Such people actually don't understand the nuances of USA visa types and the highly experienced consulars who are well trained to understand visa conspiracies.

5. If we start UK /USA visa opinion polls on Nairaland today , you will be marveled to see the population of Nigerians who have being finding it difficult to enter the USA from the UK, even from Canada and Australia.

6. Follow all the rules and policies of F1 visa and be certain that you meet the conditions.

7. USA Consulars hates with passion the attitude of its my right , or over-confidence or i am different to others in visa applicants .

8. In order to stop the spread of such beliefs , your visa can be denied even if you are 100% qualified but with such hallmarks .

Best Wishes 🤠
This slowpoke answers question just like a demented agent. LIES LIES LIES

Don't listen to this clown.

Having a US visit visa and working in UK gives you a better advantage than this klepto who is obviously languishing in that hell hole looking for who to swindle on nairaland.

Look for schools and apply, secure your admission and go for your interview. If you are a genuine student, you shouldn't have an issue. You would likely have a better experience from a country where only a few are at the embassy than Nigeria with various questionable characters.

2. Post the loopholes to the general public let them see it.

3. For your information. Any one who contacts me outside nairaland for visa advice or process would be billed if the procedure will take my time and money. Many travel agents will bring jobs to me after collecting millions and failed their apllicants and you expect me to do it free of charge huh?

4. How much data or compensation has Nairaland authorities given me ? I use money to source for my information and I dedicate time to understand it before posting it to the public .

5. If you contact me for help or assistant outside Nairaland I will ask you for financial compensation. THAT IS JUST THE TRUTH. I don't have offices , I don't have any WhatsApp group or any other social groups. I challenge anyone with evidence to post it on nairaland if you have any info about my travel agent offices or groups i have created .
