dear Sabi mamas, please is it too early to buy stuff like baby soap, baby oil, cream\lotion and coconut oil. i intend to buy them by next month and EDD is late september. do they have expiry or best before dates? and how can i tell original from fake. i intend to buy chicoo products.

I feel it's ok to buy now, I bought my son's things before he was born and he has been using it since birth till now; he's 13months old.

To guarantee original, I only buy from big pharmacies like healthplus, medicine mart etc or confirmed baby stores that I know the owners travel . I have my reservations about cosmetic shops and market for products like Chicco and other baby products.

Pele, it's normal and part of the package.

For d leg ache, soak ur feet in warm salt water. It helps. I experienced it with my last baby

For the bleeding gum, brush gently. You av a lot of blood flowing tru and ur vessels are expanding thus the bleeding.

Also try to raise ur legs wen sitting. Drink a lot of water to reduce swelling.

You don't need a correspondence from the hospital, the one doctor gave is all you need

Cerelac is better than nutrend. You can also try heinz, cow and gate, aptamil cereals. Very nice

my able captain. congrats on ur #teampink. As for me, av been having these symptoms of malaria days really dealing with me for days now, will be going to see my Dr tomorrow morning. As for Lo's gender I am not going to stress myself about dat now cos my first baby really hid her identity until after birth, she kept showing me her bombom on two occasions I went for gender scan. Though I have the feeling this one will be a boy cos the symptoms are direct opposite compared with my first baby. The Lord is our strength.

- did you develop preeclampsia?
-was their any sign of gestational diabetes?
-Was there a cord around her neck?
Insufficient oxygen is wat makes a newborn turn blue at birth

Sorry dear. The discomfort and pain can be annoying. Since it's a doctor that prescribed it, i'll say go for it. Suppositories work very fast. You will be surprised at the speed. Pele

Enkaydewdrop, that stooling and haemorroid kind of thing, I experienced it o, can't remember what was given to me to aid it. Don't force the stools ok, also try to eat something like dry crackers or bread to minimise stooling. Pele dear, you can just use vaseline on ur anus after each toilet session.

Hello teamies,

A very pleasant morning to us all !

How is it going?

It hasn't been so smooth for me these past days but God is on the throne. Been having severe headache, feverish conditions, vomitting, high temperature etc. I had to go see my ob/gyn, we did MP, FBC, Urine M/C/S. Result came out, had 1+ malaria, everyoda was fine. I've been away from work for 2days, resumed this morning but not stressing myself at all.

Guess what, I did a sex scan and I'm Team PINK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DH was super excited cos he has been saying it's a girl and a lot of things I feel in this pregnancy, I didn't experience it with my son so my sonographer said it must be clash of hormones since I'm carrying a girl. i'm excited as well, it's more interesting to shop for girls than boys

And least I forget, I was 20weeks on Sunday! Grateful to God for bringing me halfway down the journey

Anyone done the sex scan yet? Team Blue or Team Pink? Update us pls

Everybody gathered and was begging me to even collect 1k i said no.. felt so embarrased after wards...lol
