Why dont you just lease the land for a long period say between 15 -20 years, Also insert a clause on the agreement that you will be given the 'first right to buy' whenever they want to sell the land. (just as they do in the football world these days) ![]() |
pLS WHAT SORT OF PONZI SCHEME IS THIS? ![]() CANT YOU JUST LET US KNOW WHAT YOU ARE UP TO? oK, WE NEED TESTIMONIALS FROM THOSE THAT HAVE ALREADY SUSCRIBED! |
Tom Ford:TBills are debt Instruments issued by the FGN. They are usually tenored to 91, 181 and 364 days, At the moment, their yields are still the best and they could be arranged from any bank or discount house. Although most banks would insist on at least N5M before this is bought for you. If you are interested, I have a couple of friends in discount houses that I could introduce to you. I just did one yesterday, a 91 days TBills at the rate of 14.5% |
Tell us the one you are doing here!! There are so many of them and they are all Ponzi scheme! Ask all those that have done MLM, Forever Living, Tianshi, GNLD, A2W, Bon Voyage, etc, They are all the same, if u manage to come in early you enjoy a bit by bringing in ur friends to come and loose their monies, but sooner or later, people find out and you are left to urself! |
Marksinn:Well the only light I can throw is that your man has to be very careful, But as staed earlier, He should not be in a hurry to invest , Thats where the Tbills area come in, As he does his research he should keep the dough in a place where good interest returns would also help to pay some bills. At the present good rates are only obtainable in the tbills and it is very sdafe as it is FGN instrument. On the other hand am sure he is aware that wine sells especially Red wine and the good thing is that hthere is no fear of the wine getting spoilt or out of fashion. He can start by looking out for good wine dealers/producers that would want to expand to Naija from Australia, am sure he would find a good one! Alternatively we would make him a distributor for ours and he can fly from there, |
New Chairperson of the Governing Council of the National Human Rights Commi-ssion, NHRC, Prof. Chidi Odinkalu, yesterday, asked the Right to Know Initiative, R2K, to publish his attested assets declaration, which was sworn on November 23, 2011. Ene Enonche, National Co-ordinator, R2K, in a statement, said: “This disclosure is important in underlining the critical role NHRC must play to ensure effective implementation of the Freedom of Information Act. It is noteworthy that Prof. Odinkalu, who was a leading advocate of the FoI Act as a private citizen, has not shirked from the implications of the Act for him as a public official. “Asset declarations are intended to protect the interests of both the public officers and the public whom they serve. Nigerians have a constitutional right to verify these facts, as government officials are elected and appointed to act as custodians of the public interests and must ensure they do not compromise their positions by seeking to wrongfully profit from public office.” Details of Prof. Odinkalu’s declared assets include: personal earnings from two Standard Chartered Bank accounts, with balances N94,000 and $11,700, respectively; two Barclays Bank accounts in the United Kingdom, containing £7,752 and £4,562 respectively; and an overdrawn Royal Bank of Scotland account. Details of buildings owned include a mortgaged three-bedroom mid-terrace house in Edmonton, London; and a four-bedroom semi-detached house in Lekki, Lagos. There are no undeveloped lands. Vehicles declared include a Toyota RAV 4 purchased in 2004, and a Kia Rio purchased in 2005. Also declared in the form are a personal pension plan managed by Friends Provident; shares and stocks worth about N3 million; 27 KVA Nioda generator, 7.5 KVA Inverter, and over 10,000 books, whose worth, according to Prof. Odinkalu, are “invaluable.” http://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/02/rights-commissions-boss-declares-assets/ |

@pOSTER, I can feel you, I was once in your shoes as a banker, but what i did was first and foremost; Look for a gap around your environment that you think you can fill (For me I chose distributorship of Wine; I felt I could always keep a tab on the items as everything was basically on cash and carry) Then I had to source for a staff to take care of the business in view of our work that bascially involved long hours (for me I sourced my staff from the boys that were already cleaners in my office, i looked for the hard working and truthful one and offered him a better pay) Then I moved the funds for the business, I started small and continued to learn until it greww bigger to its present statues, am still working in the finanacial industry but am not scared of anything again, am just waiting for the major deal am pursueing to be a sole distributor for a foreign based coy, the moment its done am out of the industry for good. But for now I will advise that you place that funds of urs in a Treasury Bill to yiels a far higher returns than any fixed deposit! |
So Seun, How did this make the front page ![]() Are u related to Omoni or you are having a crush on her ? ![]() mchewwwwww!! ![]() |

Major ground handling company, Nigerian Aviation Handling Company ( NAHCO) Plc, has indicated that it would lay off about 3000 workers as it strategises to become more profitable. The sack is one of the many in the last five years as the company which was privatised in 2005 from being a subsidiary of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) had to sack those who did not conform with its new objectives as a private concern. The CEO of the company, Kayode Olusegun Ojo, explained that NAHCO who confirmed the planned sack said that it was part of the organisation’s transformation programme which it embarked upon two years ago to reposition itself. “We started with infrastructural renewal, purchase of equipment and human resource development. But where there are redundancies, they have to be declared in consonance with labour laws.” The NAHCO boss also said the activities of the company must meet aviation standards expected from its personnel, adding that all the workers were being carried along in the actions the company was taking. http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/nahco-to-sack-3000-aviation-workers/109472/ “There are also aviation standards expected of our staff and where there are areas of professional conflicts, we apply rules of engagement and disengagement. But all staff are carried along in our processes and decisions,” Olusegun Ojo said. Reacting to the planned sack, the National President, Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria ( ATSSSAN), Benjamin Okewu, said that the union was aware of the NAHCO plan and has engaged the company in talks to see how it would mitigate the effects of the job loss. NAHCO may have started issuing termination letters to the affected staff before labour intervened, the same way it happened three years ago. |
