Lion123:dont buy your treasury bills money in cryptos o dont say you were not warned.... ![]() |
Mcy56:hahahahaha i have always been close to the NSE........just that my exposure to the market has been very low in recent times...(no thanks to continuous naira devaluation) I spend more time trading cryptos. But it was clearly a no brainer to buy those days market was down......with interest rates this low and bond yields very low, fund manager simply have to increase their exposure to the markets. Moreover the valuations of most of our NSE listed coys are dirt cheap in dollars terms... For now we go dey enjoy the market.....until we see another side of Emefielenomics |
Mcy56:So people are finally buying.....people that refused to buy a few days ago when we were asking them to buy I trust Oga Peter..he will buy in December when Market has reached the peak ![]() |
On Monday we were asking people to buy... Today we will just siddon dey look as people scramble to buy very decent stocks at rock bottom prices... Always buy the red candles and sell the green candles Good luck to you all ![]() |
sellydion:Nobody obviously knows the bottom... but why not buy in stagger now that the market is going down? You want to rather chase the market when its running up? |
BUY BUY BUY!!!! ![]() keep buying the Dip!! ![]() |

wanaj0:Oga Wanaj0.....Welcome sir o!! This is your old taxi man Overload greeting you o... ![]() We still dey for park dey wait your further instructions o |
The days of high returns on Treasury Bills are dead and buried. People here should look out for the new Finance Bill about to be presented to the national Assembly by the FG. The amount spent by the FG in debt repayments is too high and they cannot afford to allow interests on govt borrowing to be high again. Time to play the NSE , NYSE, Cryptos or just be ready to accept low rates on your TBills. |
onegentleguy:is this a Financial Advise or just an academic exercise?? ![]() |
Una well done o!! Happy Birthday My Man OGG! Interim Div of 25kobo for Nig Breweries shareholders ..............not a bad gesture even in these hard times ![]() |
Una welldone o!!! ![]() Emefiele don pour fuel for una market and all the stocks don dey enter bid! make i watch as the stocks react to their 52 weeks high prices first when they get there.... |
And the scammer even had the effrontery to steal my photos and use as his profile page.. Very sad |
Sholapey:Thanks for asking after me.... Been very busy on some other projects in the investment world... Been very hard to keep up with the discussions here...most especially now that rates are quite low and discussions have gone beyond Treasury bills. Stay Safe guys!! Shalom!! |
Intendy:I thot UBA did about 9.20 sometime last week |
fxuser:This UACN run has really surprised me sha... hopefully it will run to N20 so that i can sell and have some peace ![]() |
Treasury Bills Auction 2/01/2020... ![]() From all indications, we all need to seek Alternative Investments outlets... However I have one short Advise, Never use the funds earmarked for your Risk free Investments for any risky investment. Just remain disciplined and bear in mind that the Inflation rate is still above 11.8%, and that the markets will always run Marathon! |
This low Tbills discount rate scenario cannot last for long.... We have structural problems which can only be solved by long term Fiscal measures and not by any monetary maneuvers from CBN. I am never gonna reallocate my Tbills funds for other risky ventures......(am getting older too and would not want to increase my risk appetite now) I will just go short on any of my matured Tbills and wait this out. We have seen this before. we would just take higher risks with our risky funds, maybe trade more aggressively on my Cryptos to make up for the loss in income from Tbills (more sleepless nights). Squeeze and monitor the keke guy more, etc This too shall pass.. |
TREASURY BILLS AUCTION 27/11/2019 91 DAYS ------6.495% 182 DAYS ------7.23% 364 DAYS------8.37% Market is finished.... |
OgogoroFreak:Its more or less a private placement or fund . They can only talk to investors about it. They cannot make noise in the public on it yet to avoid SEC sanctions. They expect that everyone spoken to would go back and do their own due diligence before investing. |
niyoni:I recently invested some funds in an Infrastructural Money market fund. The yield is up to 15% per annum. Anyone interested can hit me up and i will give directions. The fund owners (A firm registered as Asset Managers by SEC) insist that its a Private fund and as such should not be advertised in any public forum |
The Last Treasury Bills Primary markets Auction for the year is on the 28Th of this month.... It would be interesting to see how the rates perform and also what happens thereafter with al these monies in circulation.. Anyone betting to see rates as low as 5% in the coming days?? |
