spyder880: I have walked every inch of Edem and Ibagwa, even Amorji. Average land price there is about N2.5m. Lots of problematic lands in those towns, no large areas to buy up to 50 plots together.

But if I may ask, how many people can bring in up to N2.5m ? Can we have up to 20 interested people?

I am thinking Ugwuogo because I am looking at prices at around N1m for everything, purchase, settlement of the community and documentation.

Let's plan ahead as I also look behind the timber shed, inside Ugbene 2 area .
Oga Spyder, now is the time to move in!

I have a couple of investors who are willing to do Enugu Estate..

N2.5m for a plot is not too much...just locate a good spot and inform us then we will move in with our funds...

Dexterax: My oga, we need an inclination toward a smarter gambling mentality in our local markets. We need to take speculation to the second order at least; we need to be able to speculate on the prices of the stocks with other instruments and leave the old guns to keep speculating on the businesses with stocks.

We need financial derivatives.
Derivativeshuh This one na advanced Baba Ijebu!

anyway for as long as there is money to be made playing it...Am in! cheesy

Dexterax: We should be coasting at US$ 120 per barrel and above if the militants get to the oil-rich southern part of Iraq. Bullish for oil-producing companies (esp if the general Asian energy demand remains constant, especially India and China), bearish for oil refinery stocks (due to high crude prices and accompanying low margins), bullish for palm oil plantation companies (I'd rather not go further here), etc.

grin
Bros Dexter this ur palm oil buz don dey move small small o!!

But i thought 9.5% of my N400,000 should give me about N38,000 after 85 days..i was actually thinking in this line.
Small simple interest calculation should have informed you that P.A in all bank transactions means leaving the money invested for 365 days... undecided

soloniger: u mean some stocks are prone to Ebola?
we should be looking out for stocks that should do well with the ebola eg pharm coys that will produce or market medications, household coys that will market/produce hand sanitizers..

we should also start dumping stocks that ebola could affect its businesses eg coys with big subsidiaries in ebola high risk regions or coys that fly there or do transport businesses there

If there was a listed coy dealing on bushmeat,, am sure its price would have been depressed now due to dumping... I would have just waited to buy it on the cheap cos I know that the dumping is more out of fear than of any real cause..
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by feelamong(m): 8:12am On Aug 06, 2014

Mpeace: My exit price for oando is #100 and above no matter when it happens. So if wale and co think they can use bad news to chase me out of the bus, they better think twice cos na me and them dey this bus, we rise or fall together.
Pls note that oando is only %10 of my investment as most(%60) are in Tbills(others are spread).
Totally agree with you on Oando!

My Oando and Transcorp na long term play....now my CCNN and Wapco don dey join them for that long term small small..

as bad as e bad market must throw up one or two stocks to bring out 15% quarterly...the moment Tbills went below 10% I moved on from there..
