He would resist nah. The next chance he gets he boards a trailer bound for the South East. Wetin dem dey find there sef? |
Glorified WW11 aircraft. Boko haram does have anti aircraft guns |
Hmmm. Love is good but what a game of Russian Roulette. Stay safe bro |
And if not that the constitution mandates representation and appointment from every state, we all know how that list would have gone. |
We want a Country that works. Yet somehow are also so tolerant of flouting and breaking laws. No country progresses that way. Though Wike was excessive but we must begin to exert repercussions on law breakers. That is how Countries move forward |
A list that doesn't even mention EKO hospital isn't worth publishing |
moscobabs:Are there federal projects in the South East? No there is none. not. As usual it is the usual self help project of some of the indegines. Truly the Igbo man is not valued in Nigeria for only an Igbo invests outside Igbo land - in the South West as well as in the North - whereas you will find no single investment by any other ethnic group in igbo land |
I guess PMB needed to make this sort of move to tone down the Northern outlook of his Administration. Did he succeed? Not really. For in choosing Gambari, he went with yet another Muslim and then again from Kwara. Acceptable to the yorubas as well as Northern base. But in the final analyis neither a bird nor an animal. That is the irony. |
Only plastic surgery can save this man and that is even no guarantee |
Who believes anything Trump says or tweets |
It would be the "wrongest" move. She has no political value not being an elected person. A VP with value should be a Governor or a senator. |
I think you sonehow need to start first then approach the Nigerian Agricultural Bank. I don't believe they get involved with start ups |
Okafor's law: which states inter alia that once a man has gone there before, under the right circumstances and all things being equal, he will and is able to go there again. If you know you know. |
chukslawrence:As usual, Nigerians talking about what they do not know. Acting like Trump in what way? Trump that has been at best mediocre in the way he handled the Pandemic. |
Peticoat or in local parlance "shimi" |
Did anyone notice that Qatar and most of the middle East once had a vibrant and free born black population. All but wiped out as at today. |
Which kin tokunbo be this? |
BeLookingIDIOT:You are a fool. Has Nigeria so decayed that the common regards and respect to the dead has also flown out of the door? |
Nobody resigns in Nigeria. I thought we all knew that. It's his turn and his villages turn. It is a turn by turn democracy. |
Bro, not worth the trouble. It's aesthetic at best. For functionality the dash vents will cool the car well enough |
For fear of sounding stupid, i often sit back and wonder ( especially since they are such an opaque and closed country ) if the Chinese are not printing whatever money they need. Especially in regards to all the loans now being given to African states in RMB (China's local currency) |
Kobojunkie:No but in a system that works where no teacher or principal is stealing the food they want the food to achieve the purpose for which it was provided. Perhaps you do not know that schools in America provide breakfast and lunch till 12th grade. It is this same food they are now giving since students are at home |
One clear observation from reading posts here in Nairaland forum. Nigeria will never ever be a country. The level of hate, acrimony at all levels and strata of society is fearful. Its seeps down even unto the upcoming generation. I only smell doom for Nigeria. Plodding and wallowing without any real purpose until it tears itself up from within. I dare to say that PMB didnt do anything to heal a country but rather engaged in the most divisive leadership by a president ever witnessed. I dont mean to be insulting but I am happy i left Nigeria and i am even more happy my children are living their life devoid of such hatred and bigotry |
I will just summarize this post as best as i can. The Chinese economy is so intertwined with the US economy that if the U.S tanks, China will sink with it. China is prosperous because of its investment in, and trade with the U.S. Alternatively, the U.S economy can likely stay afloat without China even though trade balances will affect it somewhat. However, the Chinese need to pray and always hope that U.S is strong as that is their guarantee to having prosperity too. |
The U.S Govt is not giving food to anyone. However, there are several not for profit bodies giving food. Yes, it is true all the schools are still feeding their respective students. All you have to do is go and get it. My kid's school do theirs between 11am up till 12.30pm everyday. Sometimes when you do not go for about 2 days in a row the schools starts calling and pleading almost that you come gey the meals. |
Ishilove:In which way bro? Sometimes the pet is actually the most important member of the house. I recall a white woman telling me she has a pet dog before mentioning the daughter almost as an afterthought. |
GamalNasser:Our people just sit there in Nigeria and say things they know nothing about. Has any Republican president ever left a booming economy? No. Obama met unemployment at 12% and left with unemployment at 4.5%. In all of Trump's noise his best was 4%. And he had to do nothing. Now there are challenges, let us see him prove himself. But i am not hopeful. |
NI.5 million is grossly understated. O am on a similar project myself. Iron Rod alone cost me N800,000. Cement will set you back another N600k at least. Gravel is N75,000 a tipper load and you need 6 trips. There is still plank and bamboo then labour. I would say at least N2.5 mlion for a solid job |
I dont see the big deal. For every one of such persons bandied in the post almost all other regions can boast of thousands with same if not better qualifications. But without the advantages the North bestows on its own such as very low cut off to enter university. A 100% guarantee of its graduates getting the best jobs and climbing the hierarchy with ease. So no big deal when i see the sort of people you are making noise about. And did i mention that even the PTDF scholarship scheme is at best a Northern Nigerian scholarship scheme. What a country. |
Peterobi90:True talk my brother. I am not resident in Nigeria but we all have family and any such occurence will impact on our own people. The politicians will always take care of themselves no matter what. Low oil prices will not stop a Local Government Chairman from building a duplex he did not have nor from acquiring one or two exotic cars he never thought he would be able to buy. For too long there have been calls for proper federalism that would usher real growth and diversification. The ignoring of that call has now led to calls for outright balkanization of the Country. It is not too late to do what is right for the Country to prosper |
