jesusjnr2020: 10 Characteristics Of A Man After God's Heart
These characteristics were drawn from the life of David, the son of Jesse, who was said to be a man after God's heart.
1. He was not a men-pleaser.
2. He was selfless and humble leader. He cared about the sheep and was willing to lay down his life for them.
3. He hungered and thirsted after God and His righteousness. He earnestly desired to do whatever pleases God and keep His Commandments.
4. He remained focused. He didn't allow fame, glory, power, and riches, to derail him and take the place of God in his life.
5. He was repentant. He took full responsibility for his sins and mistakes. Didn't lay the blame on someone else.
6. He was patient. He waited on God and kept the faith even when it seemed that God had forsaken him.
7. He was merciful. He had mercy on his sworn enemy who was hell-bent on taking his life.
8. He was a defender of the poor, helpless, oppressed, and stood-up for their rights.
9. He was God-led. He always enquired of the Lord and relied on Him for direction.
10. He was very passionate and proud of his God. He defended God's interest to the very last even if it meant putting his life on the line.
I'd expound on each of these characteristics of the man after God's heart called David in subsequent posts.
God bless. This list is not correct or complete so long LOVE is not included. Love is the first thing A man after God's heart should and must have because God is Love and Love is God. |

chucsmoore: Massive crowd are likely to turn up later in day. I have feelings that this protest might not really yield the desired result everyone is clamouring for. Nigerians thinks we are still in GEJ era. He listened and empathized with the masses. but the naked truth is that we are dealing with a former Military dictator who has shed a lot of blood to get back to power after he was overthrown in 1983 by IBB. He lacks human feeling and his mentality about this protest is that it's been sponsored by opposition. I do not see him compromising and complying with this EndSars protest demand from the youths. And if this protest continues, he might want to deploy the military to protest grounds. No one fuucks with the Soldiers, they are Blood thirsty and trigger happy. You really don't know how much im praying for this to happen so the real revolution will commence. It will be worse than that of Somalia, Riwanda or WW II. Lets pray it doesn't get to that though. |

Babadee1900: Seconded...
Meanwhile guys, there’s possibility of the protesters closing down the second tollgate at Chevron today by 10Am.
I just dropped a rider now at Lekki phase one, throughout the ride from from Lekki gardens phase two he was on a conference call, the guys at the other end of the call are planning to mount a road block at the toll gate, my rider is of the opinion that they shouldn’t do it because of hoodlums and since Admiralty tollgate is already recognized as the Island protest ground they should leave it at that.
Other people on the call were saying protesters from Ajah and beyond are complaining of distance so they want to stay at Chevron tollgate.
***I hope they don’t go ahead with it but I am already running home as fast as I can.
Over! Soldiers! Japa...lolzzzzz....

Let me share an experience I'd yesterday night in VI.
Took one of my clients from Ikeja GRA to VI to eat at a restaurant, while i was waiting I decided to buy fuel just incase movement changes since 10pm was approaching. I then decided to on uber app... Zoom request 1.8x. Called rider I'm coming, she was going nearby.
On my way rider called down the 3rd time in less than 5min...
R: You're not moving, why na
Me: I'm moving oh pls check your app again
R: but you're not moving or is ur phone n network ok?
Me: maybe it's from your end because I'm presently at A.Odeku...
Before I could complete1 the sentense.
R: you sound so rude.
Hand up and the next I saw, "rider cancel". Me I just smile... "See dis mumu u think say I get ur time, thank God you cancel self because me for reach where u dey wait 5min n cancel".... I fear 1star like "E" the tin d drag CGPA down like mad.
Another came in immediately I didn't pick without surge. Then another came in with 1.1x.
R: afyer greeting, bla bla bla...
Me: ok, I'm close
R: are you the one that just parked
Me: yes please.
R: ok I'm coming.
Waited for like 7min rider didn't show up.
Me: ive been waiting here since but...
R: Sorry who is this
Me: shuu!!! U ordered a uber ride na and give been here for...
R: I've gotten to my destination already na
I just hanged up to check if I was dailing the wrong number. Rider called back
R: you shouldn't hanged up on me like that! I entered a car and the driver didn't even tell me its not my rider and he took me to where I needed to be so I'm sorry.
I just kept calm in astonishment listening to her explanation, which she did for over a minute.
Me: so if they're to kidnap u that was how easy it would have been? Ok listen, when next, b4 u enter a car make u check d plate number, confirm the driver's name...bla bla
R: thanks so much...
I then cancelled without asking uber to charge her.
I then to begin to wonder... |

Carshopper: I just dey look dey laff... When drivers call to get car, did they say it's for interstate? I think drivers miss interpretation of contract when they come to collect cars...
For a example, my driver took my vehicle to Benin without my permission all in the sake he wants to make up his rental.... gbam he gets involved in an accident which kept in Benin for 1month and now he owes 180k to me...
Simple instructions or contract agreement drivers can't uphold... If the car was for interstate ...then we should charge interstate fees... 50k weekly (I do interstate biz) Bros the facts is clear. State your terms and conditions to your driver b4 you hand over you car to them. If they terms and conditions are not fine with either or both parties then you move on. No issues there. You can hire your car to men for uber business and expect me not to do interstate with it when the offer comes by. Or are you not aware people order rides to outside Lagos? Accident happens anywhere, even inside yiur room accident happens. And when it happens you take it upon yourself as it comes along or to your insurance company. When I ran into a car in front of college road, Oga with my previous partner's car I made sure I fixed it with the money given to me by the guy that entered my front fr9m the service lane and I added money to it to complete the work. Indid all of these simply because I know my partner had a 3rd party insurance, otherwise, I would have called him/her to inform them of it then drive the car to the insurance company while I wait to pick it up when its fixed. But because I've a conscience I did all expenses without even informing them but after I'd done with fixing it. So get facts right before you come out to make comments and do go thw world's way of talking like a woman without having cognizant knowledge of things and then try to run once good reputation down with senseless comments. When police stopped me on my way back fr9m Akure to Benin who did I call? So how was my partner not being aware of my journey outside Lagos had I not informed her b4 leaving. Abi I be mumu no?? |

jpworld: Odometer roll back is common in Nigerian used cars, that Honda that is 168k miles is tokunbo and that is the original miles.
Your concern should be the custom papers to know how long it has been used in Nigeria.
Better don't take that car to Benin, the engine will die quickly. Bros just come out plan and confess your love for me instead of dancing to thw gallery. Why you like me like this... All your 100 post on this thread you've either mentioned my moniker or referred to me. Chia!!! See has I dey hot like fried plantain.

jpworld: Actually 30k can be made in 2days Saturday/Sunday.
Your friend has invested wisely, if those cars he bought for 500k each work perfectly with less down time.
You keep saying there will not be work load on the car, but you refuse to say a word, when i mention Felicity0001 as example.
I will repeat it again, car rental was 10k weekly, for 2weeks. During that 2weeks car was taken to Ondo/Benin 5times.
You see human nature is to acquire more. That is why some greedy people manipulate the system, there was a time lockito was popular among uber drivers, but uber started deactivating account over it, as car owner you need to block every lockito driver comes up with to succeed in this business. Point of correction Oga no b only 5x. I do Benin-Akure 4 time in 2days to and fro. Did ph twice to and fro Ibadan 4times Then I went to warri 4time All of these in only 2week. See your mouth like 5x. make I whine ur nipples small... |

donfortune48: Those that've been working since Monday should update us please. How have the hustle been? Do you make something reasonable at the end of the day?
I've been grounded since Sunday after that hurrible traffic experience at Lekki express. And I want to step out today.
Chillex8. Felicity0001. Eyinola... et al Present Sir! Currently in lekki... I'll say God has been faithful to me since my last disappointment. First I got a car from a " ghost" partner within 4days after my great loyalty and hard work was disposed in a waste bin. 2nd, like weightless stated, I got a " cheap" car 03 corolla on HP at a price of <N1.6m for 16months payment time with a millage of 168000miles. 3rd, God provided money miraculously and was able to make a DP of N100k. Within 2months I've already paid more than 400k. Current millage 176000miles. @jpworld the rep, your previous Honda civic I used came with 168000miles and I dropped it at 172000miles. Now do the maths yourself, 7months vs roughly 8weeks. I never cross ojodu Berger bridge yet oh. Bros, na soft work I dey b4. @OP, no mind me jor I get time to shalaye small today... Because a coy just hired me for 2 weeks since monday. So like dis now Lekki Epe toll is totally blocked but you can use the Link Bridge, Landmark and Oniru route to your destination. Surge dey island like dis now but the request don't come as usual. I left VI 9:27pm yesterday with 2 Italians and it took just 30min to GRA,Ikeja. Whereas I spent 2hrs+ from landmark back to the lekki epe expr way on Tuesday and about 3hrs going back to mainland same day. So I guess you know your stakes now. Good luck. |
