nomenclature: The moment wike hands over in 8 months time , you will be inconsequential. Remember fayose did more than this and insulted everyone ,they respected him in pdp because he was governor . After this wike will be a nobody, the worst thing coming for him is that, his successor will show him flames Forget about that, Wike is already defeated. As it stands nobody in PDP can trust Wike again. The PDP campaign train will move without Wike on board and he will not be missed. |

beautyoftheLord: Thank you very much........ I love that I can see more Nigerians that think logically devoid of emotions and sentiments. We need restructuring. Atiku has my vote and my family's. I am a Southerner. Unitary Federalism, the constitution all flawed. Nigeria needs restructuring NOW. No politician is a Saint. Na God go increase your wisdom. I wish I can meet you one on one. beautyoftheLord: So...... Have you read Atiku's policy document? Hence my reason for supporting him and hoping he will keep his words. On the flip side I know there is a region who is actually against the restructuring agenda because they feel if that is done they will be cut short and this region is not in the North. Holistically, if you like at it the North will have so much to again as percentage IGR from other rich regions will contribute heavily to their development. I don't care the gospel of magic any of the three presidential candidate is preaching if to restructure this country is not in your agenda then I will not take you serious. |

shinealight: …and who are you to say what will end well and what will not end well? Are you a crystal-ball visioner? Tinubu deciding to visit Obasanjo is not tantamount to being “humbled”. He could still realise his ambition even without Obasanjo’s help. After all, the Yoruba have never regarded Obasanjo as their Leader in the same mould as Awolowo. The visit was more beneficial to Obasanjo than it was for Tinubu. You need to be better schooled in the concept of Yoruba Omoluabi! From the beginning I have been saying Tinubu ambition is dead on arrival. You want to school your grandfather? You did not go to Obasanjo before you went for the primaries because he doesn't want to hear the truth. Nigeria can burn but TINUBU will never be the president of this country. Taaaah!!! |

tony0806: It's on video record that Ayu said he will willingly resign if the PDP presidential candidates emerge from the north. That's if the PDP ask him to step aside.
So who are those in the PDP that has the "powers" to ask Ayu to step down? These are the people Gov. Wike is actually fighting with.
It's the same "powers" that are holding on to Ayu because they feel if the party chairmanship goes to the South, Wike will indirectly have more powers to convince the electorate in his region to do what he wants. And to them, Wike can no more be trusted
From political permutations, HE Atiku will prefer to lose Wike than to ask Ayu to resign.
And Wike will not allow peace to reign because if he cannot have a say in who becomes the chairman, he has lost his grip on the national party structure like he had initially.
The battle continues You are very much on point. The party Should give less attention to Wike. For me I don't want to see anything APC close to power again. Rather than given my vote to Obi so both him and Atiku will loose, I am giving my vote to Atiku. APC must die by fire by force. |

Politics › Re: Why Tinubu May Lose This Election. by Felimax(m): 8:52pm On Aug 17, 2022 |
You are absolutely on point. The odds favours Atiku more and I am seriously perceiving a great merger. It will not surprise me to see Atiku and Obi working together.
Atiku means so well for SS/SE right from the very unset. Obi is young and good but seriously at the moment this country needs a stabilizer and the only one who has shown to possess such capacity is Atiku.
Obi will be more epileptic in gaining votes from the North. 25% votes from 24 states may not be too very much available for Obi but if God says yes nobody can say no.
We all proposes, God is the disposer. |

Politics › Re: See What Happened The Last Two Times Igbo Men Ruled Nigeria. by Felimax(m): 5:18pm On Aug 17, 2022 |
johntolu: Hi, Everyone, what is needed, in Nigeria, to solve our myriads of problems, is SEPARATION and not unity.
Nigeria was not designed to work, from inception, by our colonial masters, the British. It was actually designed as a vassal state to be headed by ultra conservative elements like, Ahmadu Bellos, Tafawa Balewas, Muhammadu Ribadus and Zanar Dipcharimas of this world. The British virtually put everything in place, for Northerners, to dominate the country at inception and perpetually, before the misadventure of the military officers, that orchestrated the January 1966, coup.
A 'thousand of Atikus' and 'millions of Tinubus' can not, in any way, give us the Nigeria of our dreams because of the faulty design of the country, from inception. The country, will more likely, be worst off, by 2027 and 2031 when there will likely be another round of elections, to elect new leaders.
Obasanjo Presidency tried everything within its powers, to unify the country and laid a solid foundation for economic development and sustainability but that was the period the Northern oligarchy, came up with Sharia laws, in Northern Nigeria and the seed of Boko Haram was planted and nurtured. Muhammadu Buhari Presidency has been the direct opposite of Obasanjo's legacy in government and Buhari's government has actually made it crystal clear, that it is imperative we go our different ways, NOW!
I must admit I am naive on how best to handle the breakup, but I think it will be easier using the political zones, we have in place, as a 'test run', for the breakup.
Let me say this, on a parting note, as it is now, in 2022, it will likely get worse & worst, in 2027 & 2031, if we still remain as one country, RESTRUCTURING!!! That is why I stand on the mandate of Atiku. Generate and control your resources. That was how it was in the beginning read the op post well. |
