In this case I am not speaking about just the individual. In the Nigeria context it is the party that propels the ability to field in credible candidate. For now, you cannot rule out the power and functions of political parties.

The earlier we realize that Nigeria is a very dynamic state the better. There are so many factors that determine how the political patterns in this country is defined and failure to see it from all angles will continue to leave us on the loosing sides.

The South East may be the smallest but if they have the capacity to strategically look inward they will be able to fashion out a way the country cannot do without them. Yes, they are almost there already but more still need to be done.

Politics without grassroots presence and power is almost very useless and this is one area you cannot rule out the power of political parties.

Wike should know that PDP will not be deterred. Good enough he is equally signing out pretty soon.

Soon enough, Wike will understand that there are bigger beast in the jungle.

The last person Atiku should work with his Wike. Atiku should be very rest assured that regardless of Wike support he will not loose South South. Wike is not a demi god here except in his own state.

Atiku should look beyond Wike as early as possible, let him even go to Jagaban to come and commission the PDP Secretariat no problem.

He has 400k and 246k on Facebook and Instagram respectively.

The Labour Party candidate consistently enjoy Twitter trend with his much-touted Obi-dient followership base who are adamant that he will emerge as Nigeria’s next president, banking on a social media political structure and campaign.

He identifies as Peter Obi with the verified handle, @PeterObi, while his bio reads, “Former Governor, Anambra State. Tweets by him are signed -PO.”

Obi, a two-term former governor of Anambra State is contesting for the topmost political office in Nigeria for the first time.

The Labour Party candidate had previous run for for presidency as running mate to Atiku in 2019, but lost to President Muhammadu Buhari of the the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC.

In 2022, Obi defected to Labour Party shortly before the PDP’s presidential primary when it became obvious he would not fly the presidential ticket of the party.

Bola Tinubu

With 1.3M followers and 35 following, his bio reads, “Official handle of APC Presidential Candidate ‘23. Fmr Governor of Lagos State, Nigeria. Progressive Democrat, Advocate of True Federalism & Nationalist.

Tinubu, a two-term former governor of Lagos State is one of the front runner presidential candidates for the 2023 election.

Tinubu has 140k and 114k on Facebook and Instagram respectively.

Calm down till proper campaign begins. I believe PDP to an extent because PDP is objective.
