Bro,the difference is that some of these musicians follow their ambitions passionately & stay working hard day & night in this country while our doctors, engineers, physicists etc prefer to stay mentally lazy. Mentally lazy in the sense that they don't think of breaking new grounds, they barely have careers but jobs. They only work to get paid (like the average Nigerian). Once they get a small opportunity ,they relocate abroad. If our doctors, engineers, architects, physicists etc were striving to break new grounds rather than just working jobs to get paid, the country would have been better & balanced. We have engineers, scientists & physicists in this country & yet none of them can come up with innovative ideas to generate electricity for the country? All they care about is working in an office & traveling abroad.....that's the difference. So therefore let our scientists & engineers also wake up & work cos I bet you,we have them in larger numbers than people who perform arts in this country.
I for one subscribe to what u've said so far but did u think Nigerian governments VALUE such INNOVATIVES? They wouldn't mind calling experts from abroad in order to enrich their pockets. For instance, what provision are they making for d alarming number unemployed youth out their? I don't blame good number of them that travel overseas for greener pastures |
Sincere 9gerian: How can a country that has no unity of purpose make progress? We all know that the Yorubas are the commander in chief of primordial ethnic sentiments. However this does not exonerate other ethnic groups. The actions of OBJ goes to confirm my submission that Nigeria is an ORPHAN. Majority of Nigerians think of what they can GET from Nigeria and NEVER what they can GIVE to Nigeria. This is why I maintain that GEJ is never the problem. GEJ is trying his best, working hard against all odds to move a very COMPLEX and complicated country forward. Majority of those who lambast GEJ today do that out of either personal, political or ethnic sentiments. Unfortunately for us the ethnic sentiments that is tearing this country apart started right from Independence with Awo (the father of ethnic sentiments), Zik and Ahmadu Bello fighting each other and ethnic sentiments was used as potent weapon to outdo each other.I subscribed to wat (Hoyehdiran) said above dat ur ethnicity took d shine off ur comment. On d oda hand, I'll like u to mention at least one developmental project which ur godfather(GEJ) has done , huh? And mention at perhaps two past head of state dat had made Nigerians proud? |
Hey lets not pretend here, we girls(nigerians) weighs the pockets before we think of starting to love the person. at least that iswhat 70% of Nigeria girls does.
70% is understatement right here, rather 99%. I swear without money, no gal out there gonna recognise u, let alone hook up with u, n nt if u're even handsome. So get this into ur skull. What are my saying here guys? Do ur very best to make (CLEAN,GOOD) money n every other things follow. |

Clemzy16: It works in those countries because There are facilities put in place. E.g you might be walking in a street.. You see a coca-cola box. You don't need anybody to attent to you. Just input the coin and the can drink comes out. Same applies when you go to a mall, you wanna play a game or you wanna urinate. Just put the coins and get whatever you wanna do done. But nothing like that here in Nigeria. Now, how do expect us to welcome it, considering the fact that It's the lowest denomination in the country. Please think before you act.You speak my mind, u've spoken well. Clemzy16: It works in those countries because There are facilities put in place. E.g you might be walking in a street.. kingoflag: You dey laff? Last Night GEJ spent $30,000 just on meals alone. Tonight he spent another $30,000. Tomorrow he'll spend another $30,000. That's just 3 days. Oya, now think of every member of your family, include ur cousins and a few uncles and aunts and calculate how much all of you's meals for 10yrs will cost. Now, calculate how much dumbo Joe's meals for a week cost. Are you still laughing?By the way, may i know where you got your fact? Are you working inside Aso rock or what? |
