Erectile Dysfunction

A man having trouble achieving an erection decides to consult a witch doctor. The witch doctor throws some herbs on a fire, shakes his rattle, does his chants and says, “I have placed a most powerful spell on you, but it will only work once a year. Just say ‘one, two, three’ and you’ll get the largest erection you’ve ever had. After your wife’s been fully satisfied, all she has to do is simply say is ‘one, two, three’ and it will disappear for 12 months.”

Later that night as the man is lying in bed watching television and he starts stroking his small limp penis, he says to his wife, “Hey babe watch this! One, two, three!” His cock slowly comes to life and starts to grow, it become rigid and eventually becomes larger and stiffer than ever before. It is enormous, well defined and ready to go.

His wife is amazed. She smiles and says, “That’s really impressive honey! But why did you say ‘one, two, three’ for?”

I was just thinking about friendships today, cos my best friend, who i went to uni with many moons ago, seems so busy lately, (she was at both my weddings, and we've been through a lot at different times of our lives!)

She does have two kids at home under 5 and we're on completetely different wave lengths now i think.cos she resides at abuja while i stay in lagos. she came to visit me after my wedding for abt 4 times now. but i only went there once when she call me around 1am sobbing that she wants to leave her husband, i had to travelled to abuja the next day even though, my husband kicked against it because they don't like eaach other right from our school days.

infact, i didn't like her husband too when they were dating but i had to develop the interest when my friend started discussing marriage. she got married and i was her best lady, and Thank God, my husband, then boyfriend supported them too because i made him released she has bn my best friend and i can't cut her off.

and she's busy doing the 'kid taxi run' and working but it's funny isn't it, you don't hear from them for ages, and yet, when you see them, you just pick up where you left off!

she sent me a text message last nite, it reads: keeping a friend is as difficult as losing one, you sacrifice to keep them. i may not have sacrificed enough for you but , In my heart i am keeping you and praying for God to bless you and your husband . greet your hubby for me. priscillia

huh, my only and best friend for the past thirteen years now. we were never inseperable until i got married.

Just got me thinking about friendships, becos, i had no best friend aside her and am just wonderingggggggggggggggggggg huhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuh??

And how we change friendships, at different stages of our lives,

And some, who come back, after they're gone for many years,

I tend to be a real 'keeper' and instigage gatherings with my friends, but sometimes i think,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, well, we meet different people in life

FashionWhat Are Your Thoughts On Fake Nails/acrylic Nails? by fellybabe(op): 11:54am On Sep 19, 2008
Hey all,
I was thinking what were your thoughts on acrylics and fake nails in general,

Every couple of years or so, I go through this phase where I want to get my nails done (acrylics), and now is one of those times. I have been a nail biter since I was a kid, and have a stopped biting temporarily a few times here and there, but never permanently. I am preggo and feeling like I need to do something extra to "perk up" my appearance now that I've finally gone from frumpy housewife to doing my hair and makeup every day (this board really helps to motivate me to help me looking my best, too!)

So, I guess I was wondering if you all like them, think they're tacky, too expensive, etc, and If I should just get them, although they get pricey with the fill-ins etc, (I told my husband it was an investment in my self-esteem, lol! ). Btw, the times I do end up getting my nails done, I usually go for about 3 or 4 months then I quit going and let them grow out/ take 'em off (ouch!),

So, what do you guys think?

The Right Way to Clean Your Skin - Tips for Taking Care of Your Skin

By SkinCareGuide
Your skin is the largest organ in your body and you need to take care of it. Below are some helpful tips to help you with you're the cleansing of your skin. For more tips and facts go to Daily Skin Care Tips from SCG Dermatologists , you can even sing-up for a weekly email that will help you maintain, protect and improve your skin, hair and nails.

General Skin Care Cleansing Tips and Facts:

Make-Up Removal:
Take it off with the same care you used to put it on! It's important to take the time to thoroughly remove all makeup before going to bed to avoid breakouts and the possibility of an allergic reaction.
The Right Way to Dry Your Face:
Dry your face by patting it gently with a towel. Rubbing it briskly may irritate your skin and make it prone to dryness, redness or breakouts.

Rinse it Off:
Rinse well! After washing your skin, make sure you thoroughly rinse off all of the cleanser. If any is left on your skin, it may continue to cleanse, which can cause dryness or irritation.
Why Use a Skin Cleanser?:
Tap water alone will only remove around 65% of the dirt and oil on your skin. That's why skin cleansers were created. They work as emulsifiers to remove dirt, excess natural skin oils (called sebum), bacteria, cosmetics and exfoliated surface skin cells. To get the most out of your cleanser, choose one that's appropriate for your skin type like oily, dry or normal.

Use The Right Temperature:
Not too hot, not too cold. Use tepid water when washing your face. Water that's too hot can burn your skin or cause broken capillaries. Water that's too cold can cause the blood vessels to open excessively in an attempt to warm up your skin. Lukewarm water is the best choice.

Hand Washing 101:

Washing your hands correctly will help protect you against many bacteria and viruses. Start by washing your hands in warm water for at least 15 seconds. Using soap, rub your hands together vigorously, paying particular attention to the areas between your fingers and under your fingernails. Dry your hands with a clean dry towel. If you're in a public restroom, use paper towel to turn off the taps and open the door.

Cleansing Acne Prone Skin:
Acne cleansers remove accumulated oil, makeup, sweat and dirt from the surface of your skin. This makes it easier for your skin to absorb topical acne treatments. However, excessive use of acne cleansers can also lead to irritated and dry skin. Read the label and use acne cleansers only once or twice a d

Everyone wants to have smooth and beautiful skin. You can achieve this by gathering the following ingredients, and following the simple steps below. It's simple and takes little time. A skin care program is the combination of skin care products and a routine that will be most beneficial to the skin. You will first need to consider your diet and lifestyle since these two factors play an important role in the health of a person's skin. Here's are the everyday habits you need to keep your skin beautiful:

These days we seem to be living in the fast-food age and the condition of your skin is often neglected. You still can't beat the old fruit and vegetable diet when it comes to good health and a good complexion.

* A bit of exercise and good sleep are vital, not just for skin care but for your health as a whole. A shortage of sleep can lead to formation of wrinkles below your eyes and lack of exercise can cause your skin to slack. Furthermore, exercise and sleep also help in beating stress. In addition to being a skin care tip, this is also a health care tip.

* Drink plenty of water. Adequate amounts of water not only keep your skin moist, but can aid in the overall maintenance of your skin and body health. While this step doesn't seem like much of a challenge to some, it's one skin care tip that's often overlooked.

* Eat a healthy diet with lots of fruits, vegetables and leafy green. Good nutrition is the basic building block of healthy skin.

* Be gentle with your skin. After all, it's the only skin you have, and it is protecting your entire body. Don't scrub too harshly or exfoliate too often, and don't overdo your use of skincare products.

* Keep it clean. Cleanse your skin at least once or twice a day. This is a very important skin care tip that will help to rid your skin of dirt and bacterial elements. Cleansing is particularly important when you have been away from home and exposed to pollutants, dust and debris. Another good skin care tip is to use lukewarm water for cleansing, as water that's too hot or too cold can damage your tender skin.

* Screen your skin. Always use sunscreen to shield your skin from the sun's harmful UV rays. Use moisturizers containing sunscreen every day, even when the sun is not shining. It's been proven that UV rays cause skin cancer, so you can't afford to skip this tip.

*Throw away the soap and use quality products that are right for your skin type. Discuss your home skin-care routine with your esthetician.

* Remember to put sunscreen on exposed areas like the back of your hands, neck and chest. They're often the first place to show your age.

* Keep your skin moisturized at all times. The importance of moisturizer is one of the most important skin care tips. Don't allow your skin to get dry. Dryness causes the outer layer of your skin to crack, causing a rough and unattractive appearance. Try moisturizers and emollients. Moisturizers work best when applied while the skin is still wet.

* Avoid putting soap directly on your face. Soap should only be used on skin below the neck.

* Treat skin problems with care. This skin care tip is all about not ignoring any skin problems. Consult your dermatologist/beautician before you try a new skin care product (lest you do end up harming your skin even more).

Pack those vices

Needless to say, alcohol, smoking and drugs are not really the way to having great skin.

If you are fond of any or all of these, you know why your skin looks so unhealthy.

Keep up the info Fellybabe
what moisturiser would you recommend for VERY oily skin. Something with saclicylic acid, but what brands do you know that are available in Nigeria? Also can you recommend a facial wash again for OILY! skin. Look forward to hearing from you!
I only find Proactiv Revitlaizing Toner is good for the skin . The rest of them containing BP are damaging and irritating the pimples. I used to have pimples, clogged pores for more than a year. Now, I am using Netrogena Clearing Pore Night gel which contains 2 percent saliylic acid. It keeps me from poping up new acnes and fading the marks. Actually that products is kinda peeling thing. It greatly helps my face now. When I feel the area is going to have pimples , I put the gel on and it stops growing.

For the cleanser, I use daily cleanser in the morning and neutrogener clear pore cleanser at night.

To quickly answer your questions, the best over-the-counter treatment I've found is Neutrogenia On-The-Spot treatment. It contains 2.5% benzoyl peroxide, which is just as effective as the other 10% creams on the market but does not dry out your skin near as much. (The 10% always made my skin dry and peely, but I can use this 2.5% all over the acne-prone areas of my face as a preventative treatment and not have any dry skin!) I also wash and exfoliate with soap and a Buf Puf brand sponge . I also use Stridex (2% salicylic acid) twice daily but I'm not sure if either of those are making a huge difference -- I definitely noticed the biggest improvement when I added the Neutrogenia to my routine!

u can get all this product at a beauty shop. check the palms, alade market, mega plaza, silverbirf galleria, beauty spa, beauty spot on adeola odeku etccccccccc

Get tighter pores and a clear complexion by applying natural toner. After your cleansing routine get rid of excess dirt and oil and protect your skin from environmental toxins. Apply toner to restore moisture, refresh and firm your skin back to its natural beauty.
