Dtruthspeaker: Is repentance not in heart? Then the fact that he even physically took steps to try to remove himself from the offence, is also repentance.
And nowhere did i say that Matthew 27:3–5 said quoted it is "expired grace"
You reference that scripture after mentioning 'expired grace'
Nothing like that in the scripture you quoted
Restitution is a path unto repentance while confession is unto salvation
ebubeson: It was prophesied that someone will betray Jesus. Judas finally betrayed Jesus Christ, but he never repented. Peter denied Jesus Christ, but came back to Christ and was accepted. Jesus Christ would have forgiven Judas if He repented.
No matter the sin you have committed against Jesus Christ, even if it is a betrayal, tell Jesus Christ to have mercy on you and forgive all your sins. He will forgive all your sins.
What sin have you committed? Adultery, masturbation, fornication, bestiality, murder, abortion, gay, hookup, lying, paternity fraud, lesbianism, yahoo yahoo, rituals, vodoo, juju, witchcraft, hatred, envy, malice, worldly dressing, forging certificate, bribery, gossip, rape etc. Tell Jesus to forgive you all your sins and repent never to go back again.
The knowledge was not available to him. He felt suicide was the only option
Just like the two thieves on the cross...one believed its over them while the other knew he could still be saved few hours to his death
Infact, one of Jesus' few words on the cross was 'Father forgive them..for they do not know what they are doing'
naptu2: The Niger Bridge was recently rehabilitated and barriers were placed on the bridge to create a median.
Some people claimed that the bridge was a two-lane road and that the median would create traffic jams. They claimed that nobody would be able to pass the bridge if a vehicle broke down on it. This is not true.
The bridge is actually a four-lane bridge and vehicles are able to go past any broken down vehicle on the bridge. This video illustrates that point.
A minibus broke down on the bridge and a large truck was able to go past it without problems.
Carmadesimpe: Buying a used car is not just about finding one with clean paint, a good interior and an engine that sounds fine. Some expensive problems are not obvious when you first see the vehicle.
If I were helping someone inspect a car before payment, these are seven areas I would want checked.
1. Engine condition: Does it start easily, idle smoothly and run without unusual knocking or excessive smoke?
2. Transmission: Does the gear engage properly? For an automatic, does it shift smoothly during a test drive?
3. Chassis number: Does the number on the vehicle match the relevant vehicle documents?
4. Accident history: Check for uneven panel gaps, unusual welding, overspray and signs of major structural repairs.
5. Cooling system: Does the temperature remain normal during the drive? Any coolant leaks or signs of overheating?
6. Suspension and steering: Listen for knocking sounds and notice whether the car pulls to one side or vibrates unusually.
7. Documents and ownership: Confirm that the seller has the appropriate documents and that ownership can be transferred properly.
One important point: passing these checks does not automatically mean the car is perfect. A qualified mechanic should inspect it, and legal or documentation concerns should be verified separately.
For example, a car can look beautiful outside but have a transmission problem that becomes obvious only after driving it.
My question: If you were buying a used car tomorrow, which of these seven checks would you consider most important? What else would you add?
Bigsin: Please do anyone know how much driving Schools charge in Abuja? I would like to learn how to drive for fun. Last time I wanted to learn in Lagos, the schools were charging ridiculous amount as if they suspect I was going to buy a car soon.
It depends on the no of yrs you want to use to learn
[quote author=EmmyMaestro post=140927057]“I didn’t like him enough to date him” – Lady shares how she married the university friend she once rejected
A Nigerian lady has shared how a man whose romantic advances she initially turned down while they were in university eventually became her husband.Buy Maps
In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), the lady explained that although she liked him, she did not have strong enough feelings for him to consider dating him at the time.
She revealed that they remained friends despite not being on the same page romantically, adding that she dated other people while they were in school.
According to her, he remained the person she could always confide in, as he understood her regardless of what she was going through.
The lady explained that their relationship took a different turn in 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown, when they continued talking and she realised she had developed feelings for him.
She disclosed that she eventually gave him an ultimatum, telling him they could no longer remain friends if they were not going to date.
In her words, she said:
“I said, ‘You know what? If we don’t date, we can’t be friends again.’ So we had this one week where we’re not talking to each other, which was very weird, actually. We’ve not gone one week without talking to each other since the ten years we’ve known each other.
I’m like, ‘You know, if we don’t date, we can’t talk again because I have feelings for you now.’ But he was like, ‘No, you broke my heart several times. I’m not going to date you.’
I’m like, ‘I can’t do this. If you can’t get past what has happened, let’s stop being friends.’ And so we did get to this point where we realised that we can’t do without each other, and that’s how we started dating in 2020.”
The lady’s story has highlighted how a long-standing friendship can eventually develop into a romantic relationship, even when one person initially rejects the other’s advances.
“While We Were in School, I Didn’t Like Him Enough to Date Him. After Dating Two Other Men, I Later Realised He Was the One Who Understood Me the Most.”

i2econsulting: I Just Discovered Something About UK Jobs That I Wish I Knew Earlier
I used to think getting a job in the UK was simply about finding a vacancy, sending your CV and waiting.
Apparently, there is much more to it.
Things like how you read the job description, whether your experience actually matches what they are asking for, the type of employer, right-to-work requirements, and even how you present your experience can make a big difference.
What surprised me most is that some people are applying to dozens of jobs without really checking whether they are suitable for the role.
For those currently applying for UK jobs, what has been your biggest challenge?
1. Finding genuine vacancies 2. Getting shortlisted 3. CV 4. Sponsorship/right to work 5. Understanding the application process 6. Something else
There are many jobs without sponsorship. No point accepting an offer if you dont have the right to work
Deeaka: I have been thinking about something that I believe many salary earners can relate to.
Sometimes, once people know that you have a good job, they automatically assume that you have money.
You become the person they call when school fees need to be paid, when someone needs urgent assistance, when there is a family problem or when an unexpected bill comes up.
And honestly, helping people you care about is not a bad thing. Most of us want to be able to support our parents, siblings and other loved ones.
But there is something people don't always consider: earning a good salary does not mean that all your money is available to spend.
You have your own bills, savings goals, responsibilities and plans for the future. Some of us are also trying to build a life that will make us less financially dependent on our salaries someday.
The tricky part is that when you start saying no, people may think you have changed, become proud or forgotten where you came from.
Meanwhile, you may simply be trying to make your own money last until your next payday.
So I want to ask:
1. Do you think earning a good salary automatically makes someone responsible for helping extended family? 2. Have you ever had to choose between helping someone and meeting your own financial goals? 3. How do you set boundaries without damaging family relationships?
I'd genuinely like to hear people's experiences, especially from those who support family members while trying to build their own financial future
Do your best and leave the rest
No matter how much you earn, dont give out your savings
Mariangeles: Bought these oranges that were about the size of grapefruits, and they tasted so watered down, and not as sweet and juicy as Nigerian oranges known to be. I was right to be skeptical about them. Each one was sold for N200.
What are modern farmers doing to our fruits o? 😫
We prefer our fruits medium-small sized, sweet, flavorful, and juicy as they used to be, not these gigantic tasteless stuff like fuke-fuke.
caesymore: Getting married to an intentional spouse is everything in one.
My birthday is 16th of November, since I started dating my Wife she has always done everything possible to make my day remarkable.
I'm that type of guy that likes keeping things on a low, quite an opposite of my Wife, she likes doing her things loud and doesn't care who gets to hear it.
Well, my type of guy I don't cage you, infact I allow you to be yourself cause I like being myself, on her birthdays I don't mind making it loud but on mine I just like chilling on my own if I'm even to have fun its best of me to spend quality time with her hangingout and chilling on dates.
It's almost November again, and the sweet problem as I call it is here again. It's been 5 birthdays with her as my wife so far, and she has always made it remarkable, always making a great occasion off it. Even when we are not together. I've always gotten cakes that I share with colleagues at work and they marvel at the quality and amount each of them got, my wife is high test and she doesn't spare a dime when it comes to what she feels will be a show of love to me.
Now on my part I'm just cheerful about it for the effort, money and time she puts in doing it even though my joy has never been on what she did but for the fact she is ready to show me such love.
On talking to her today I got to know she is planning to do money cake for me with about 1million naira while she pays the cake lady 200k, omo I feel it's a waste owing to the fact that I do not place value In all these, I had to ask her not to do it, oya come see her romantic vex that it's her thing make I dey my day.I've been trying to stop her and I'm seriously not okay with it as I see it as waste, firstly there is no way in hell I'm going to snap picture with money cake and I believe that's one of the essence of the cake, secondly who has time to pack up a million naira from money cake, thirdly she won't even be around as she is out of Nigeria for now, then imagine giving out 200k just for someone to stress me, how much does most 9-5 workers earn.
I know she doesn't place much value on money just like my Mum and that's one of the major reasons why I love her so much, she also values Humanity more than money and material things.
Truths be told since I we started dating before we married my birthday has stopped being the calm thoughtful day it has always been which I love so much, to such an uncomfortable day with much anticipation which I also love to an extent.
I've always told her it's supposed to be what makes me happy that counts on that day but she doesn't want to see it that way. I wonder how long it will take for her to understand or how long it will take before I get used to this.
But right at this moment it's actually a sweet problem to me.
A wasteful wife...hope you guys are saving foe the rainy day
