Oga, long time no see bro.
I’ve always enjoyed your contributions to sports discussions generally. That was about 13 years ago or thereabouts, when we used to debate sports issues back and forth like say tomorrow no dey on sport section on Nairaland 😄. The arguments, the counter-arguments, all those stuff, I genuinely enjoyed every bit of it,but since I found this place, I’ve now pitched my tent here and paid rent fully 😂, even though this is not my former moniker. I don drop that one and now go by MorataFC, in full solidarity with Morata. 😅

But as a genuine Blue fan, why we no dey see you here?
I never left. Focused more on threads that make front page

This season is messed up already. These set of owners don't understand the DNA of the club. They are just here to make profit

Crazy fun fact!

Ever since AFCON was expanded to 24 teams, every single team who got 9 points in the group stage and play a 3rd placed team got eliminated in R16.

* 2019 Egypt 9 points, South Africa third in their group defeated them.

* 2019 Morocco 9 points, Benin third in their group defeated them.

* 2021 Nigeria 9 points, Tunisia third in their group defeated them.

* 2023 Senegal 9 points, Ivory Coast third in their group defeated them.

Now in 2025 Algeria and Nigeria finished with 9 points in their groups. Nigeria will face Mozambique, third in their group BUT Algeria will be facing Congo DR who did NOT finish third in their group.

Brace up guys, it's end of the road for Nigeria. grin grin grin

Agreed. When it comes to music and denomination, people forget tribe.

This will however change in the next couple of years as tribalism bites deeper.

Tinbu is not doing enough to eradicate tribalism because he has weaponized it.

AlphaBoy:
I’ve been seeing this narrative online, especially from Gehgeh, where he says once a man becomes successful or starts making money, plenty girls will suddenly want to sleep with him or be his girlfriend.
According to him, success attracts women automatically, even without effort. Some people agree strongly with this, while others say it’s an exaggeration or hyped up

So do you think success truly makes women chase men? .
100 percent

They are attracted to money, fame & Power

The money used for subsidy were even borrowed. Remember that we were selling our crude upfront.

Tinubu might decide not to borrow. The effect will be lower deficit budget which will affect infrastructural development. It means that you will develop as your pocket can afford. To reduce borrowing and continue to increase your stock of infrastructure you need to earn more money through taxation.
If removing subsidy didn't end borrowing, you think the new taxation will do....dey play
