You don't have to be an animal lover to treat animals well. It is common human decency
it's not common

Why are we seeing it as something strange. Nollywood and our religious belief didn't even help matters when it comes to how we treat animals in this part of the world

Why are we running away from the truth
How many homes have pets
How many of our stores have pets section

Feel free to teach me the meaning Noah... What you attached has no relevance with the topic. That people eat humans doesn't justify you treating others wrongly or maltreat them? Are you even reasoning at allhuh Or you don't know people actually feast on human meat in this same country?
You are the one having comprehension issue

That people are cruel to animal does not translate to treating humans badly. That's my position based on the OP's writes up

The argument that people should have affection towards animal is another topic entirely

It's wrong to be cruel to pets. Stop capping dust. They have life and then they are domesticated not like animals in the wild. I wonder how some of you guys reason sef? You must be an equally wicked person too
Capping ke? Hope you know the meaning of that word.

It is not about understanding having pet as friend. It is more about cruelty or affection for animals generally.
Still cannot use it as a yardstick

In this part of the world where we eat all manners of animals, not everyone understand why you should have affection for animals

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

She maltreats his pet.
Will this attitude translate to her maltreating any young member of his family if they choose to come stay for a day or two?

Could her attitude towards a pet be a red flag on how She will deal with her subjects, other kids, and subordinates?
Not everyone understand the idea of having animal as a friend

You can't use that as a yardstick

So a Christians can celebrate Christmas everyday according to what you showed me....a Christian does not need to wait to December 25th to celebrate Christmas?

So Christmas day is not just a day but many days in which Jesus was born?

So Jesus was born on many "Christmas days" is actually the right thing that the sing should have said?
Infact, you can celebrate it everyday

Christianity is not rigid when it comes to dates. What you do each day is more important than the day you choose to do it.

A very good example is sabbath day where Jesus emphasised 'action on the day' over the day itself

So how did December 25th come about?
25th was the most popular among the dates based on roman tradition and winter solistice that happened around that time of the year

This is an illusion.
With all the hospitals, the current life expectancy in Nigeria is just 55 years. It used to be over 90 few decades ago without hospitals. People with terminal illnesses like cancer don't make it out of the hospitals alive. Africa was better off with our traditional medicine, even today the common approach by medical practitioners when it comes to bone related issues is painful irreversible amputation yet you'll find traditional healers without any form of medical training correctly curing complex bone fractures.
Illusion indeed
Those days of having to lose children to malaria and water borne diseases in the name of abiku

Those days of killing twins for whatever reason best known to them

So Christmas Carol songs like "Mary's born child" that are usually sung in schools and churches are actually lying that Jesus was born on Christmas day?
Well, the song says christmas day not 25th Dec

Some people choose Sept, Oct, Jan etc as their christmas day

Whether she arrested her accusers or not becomes inconsequential once genuine forgiveness is sought.

As per whether his repentance is genuine or not, I can't argue with you on that. Perhaps, you are a man after God's heart.

No

Science has saved many lives with treatment like blood transfusion.

It's a shame cos when religion was brought to us, they brought along healthcare, water treatment, polio vaccines etc that reduced our death rate but now we think we know better than the people that introduced the religion to us.

You are probably not a Christian, or at least a matured one, else you should know from scriptures that the severity of your sin or atrocity counts for nothing once there is genuine repentance & restitution.

Moreover I made a balanced comment.
The woman that was caught and brought to Jesus didn't deny it

She didn't arrest her accusers.

I know a genuine repentance when I see one

You can only answer Yes or No if you can provide proof. No georgian calendar in the days he was born

There is no proof of the exact date but there is proof of his birth which we celebrate on the 25th

I am saying that it does not invalidate you as a christian so far you believed he was born, died and rose again
