Politics › Re: Desmond Elliot Kneels Down, Begs Gbajabiamila For Forgiveness by femi4: 5:55pm On Sep 14 |
dododawa1:
Lagos State House of Assembly member, Desmond Elliot, has apologised to Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, over his actions during the last All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election in Lagos.
Elliot is seen in a video circulating on social media, on his knees pleading with Gbajabiamila for forgiveness and seeking reintegration into the ruling party in Lagos.
I’m sorry, I have no excuse, I have nothing other than to say I’m deeply sorry and I am hoping to be cultured in the future,” Elliot said.
The development followed a disagreement between Elliot and the party leadership after the APC primary for the Surulere Constituency I seat in May.
Elliot had withdrawn from the exercise, alleging intimidation and political pressure against his supporters.
He subsequently rejected the outcome of the primary and said he would challenge the process through the party’s appeal mechanism.
Elliot eventually lost the APC ticket to Barakat Odunuga-Bakare, who was believed to enjoy the backing of Gbajabiamila.
Odunuga-Bakare polled 11,385 votes to defeat Elliot, who secured 270 votes in the primary. Shameless man |

EmmyMaestro: “I’m older than my boyfriend, but he reasons like a matured man” — Lady
A lady has explained why she chose to remain in a relationship with a younger man, saying age is not necessarily a measure of maturity or wisdom in a relationship.
She acknowledged that she is older than her boyfriend but said she does not believe being with an older man automatically means having a more sensible or mature partner.
According to her, her boyfriend may be younger than her, but she appreciates the way he thinks and handles situations.
She said he is also willing to correct her whenever she does something he considers inappropriate, and she takes his advice seriously.
The lady added that his maturity is one of the reasons she loves him deeply and believes she cannot do without him.
“I’m older than my boyfriend and I know. It’s not by dating a 30-year-old man or 38-year-old man. Is that—does that man have sense? My boyfriend is a boy but he reasons like a matured man. When I’m doing things that are not good, he will correct me and tell me, ‘Baby, I don’t like what you’re doing,’ and I will say, ‘Oh, this thing that my baby said, let me reason it, it’s good.’
“It’s not by dating a man that is older than you enough. You get sense? That is why I love him so much and I can’t do without him…”

They supported mass migrationof arabs to Europe and they are the real antichrist enablers.
King Charles is hated in europe and NOT regarded becuse he is useless.
Countries with values that they dtill want to keep, want NOTHING to do with UK.. UK left europe long time ago ...and they ve been self sufficient. One thing they do well is nullfying any form of interference |

Family › Re: She Flares Up Anytime She Is Called To Support Kids'school Fees, Husband Cries by femi4: 5:41pm On Sep 14 |
nickxtra: Some women are terribly greedy and selfish
How can a husband asks his wife show concern and drop something to support atleast a part of one of the children's school fees/text books and she is resisting?
The husband has been repsonsible for the school fees and wellbeing of the 4 kids, but in this first term, the school fees have increased and the need to get a little support from a wife is creating discord.
The Federal government job the wife is doing was offered to her through the husband(originally meant for him), while the husband rather opted to be in the street hustling and in school too.
To cushion the effect of transportation, the husband had years sold his Bolt business car to buy a tokunbo car for her, as means of getting to and from work. Now the woman is working and at the same time running a side business, using the car as a support.
Anytime issue of supporting the family comes up, she flares up, whereas she sends money to family back home often (which am not critical of).
Out of the 4 kids, the husband has told her to take up a partial responsibility for one of them who is in JSS 3, because the fee is high.
Is it unmanly or wrong for a husband to call a wife to show support for children's school fees(at most partial support for one out of 4 kids)?
Or is she resisting this because she is used to not supporting before now, as i have never called for her support in any way before now? Her money is her money geng |

Teleclasp: Let's settle this: Is Samsung still worth the money in Nigeria? 📱🇳🇬
Some people say Samsung is still the safest Android choice because of its cameras, software support and overall quality.
Others say you're paying mainly for the name and can get similar or even better hardware from Chinese brands for much less.
If you had ₦500k–₦700k today, which phone would you buy and why?
Samsung? Xiaomi? Redmi? Tecno? Infinix? OnePlus? Nothing? Or another brand?
No marketing — just honest user experience.

Antoeni: That Story Omotola Told Might Even Be a Lie
The missing piece in Omotola’s story
1. VeryDarkMan came out swinging for Omotola.
2. But there is one tiny problem.
3. Nobody seems able to find the movie.
4. We searched (see evidence below)
5. Major Hollywood studio? No name.
6. African-inspired production? No title.
7. Igbo actress? Unidentified.
8. Egun/Ogu, Yoruba and/or Pidgin in the same project? No confirmed production found.
9. Sound-recording session? No public credit.
10. Omotola’s known US-linked films? None fits the story.
11. Even The Woman King, the obvious Hollywood film connected to Dahomey, has no public record linking Omotola to its cast, ADR, language work or production.
12. What is the Name of The Movie?
13. Because once we have the title, we can check the cast, the languages, the production company, the recording credits and perhaps even hear from the mysterious Igbo woman herself. The woman king Go n research more |
