TenQ: Many people are not aware that we used to spend coins in Nigeria down to 0.5kobo which was our lowest denomination.
Interestingly, except for the penny, they ALL still remain official legal tender even though no one will collect it from you as they have become valueless.
All except the last one. Those days 30kobo as school lunch money
GistMedia0: A young lady has taken to social media to express her heartbreak after losing her man to a cook, sparking mixed reactions online.
According to her, everything changed after she placed an order from a Kitchen for her boyfriend. The cook personally delivered the meal to his place without informing her, and now, shockingly, they are set to get married.
Sharing her pain, she wrote:
"Enjoying my single life in peace because life didn't end when I ordered food from Arinola's Kitchen for my man... and she went to deliver it to his place without informing me. Now they're getting married on Saturday."
Her revelation quickly went viral, with many people reacting differently. While some sympathized with her, others blamed her for not cooking for her man, arguing that "The Way To A Man's Heart Is Through His Stomach."
The way to a man's heart is through his stomach...Olobe lo loko....sokoyokoto
ExAngel007: Nigerian rapper, Odumodublvck has been lambasted on social media after he shared a photo of himself in a hospital bed alongside photos from an accident scene.

Rebuker: A dramatic scene unfolded today at the high court in Abuja involving Omoyele Sowore and the police. In a video posted by Sowore, police officers stationed at the court gate refused to grant him access to the premises, despite his insistence that he had a case to attend. Despite his attempts to explain, the officers stood their ground.
However, Sowore—human rights activist, Nigerian politician, and owner of Sahara Reporters—immediately resisted what he described as intimidation and harassment by the Nigeria Police and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Standing his ground, he questioned whether they mistook him for Yahaya Bello. Addressing the officers directly, he insisted that neither the EFCC nor the police were officers of the court and, therefore, had no business blocking the court entrance.
After some back and forth, the police eventually backed down, and a determined Sowore was finally allowed into the court premises.
In his post on X (formerly known as Twitter), he wrote:
"The justice system in Nigeria has been hijacked by uniformed, uncouth security agents ranging from @OfficialDSSNG, @PoliceNG, and @CivilDefenceNGR. Today, they illegally blocked the court entrance, harassing everyone just because of a thief, Yahaya Bello @officialgybkogi. The same Yahaya Bello they couldn’t apprehend for months! Even lawyers were harassed—@NigBarAssoc must put an end to this nonsense."
The post quickly garnered thousands of views, likes, and reactions.
Odingo1: My wife doesn’t kiss, she said she fear exchange of bacteria, I don’t have mouth odour, she only said she have fear or phobia about exchange of bacteria since her teenage age, our marriage is 1 month. We dated for 3 months and kiss few times and had sex once but she insisted that marriage is required before sex. In sex she is not interested in changing styles only missionary and no BJ, she said is a taboo. She is 27 and I am 34.
Did she not suppose to tell me all this before marriage or am I scammed.
Did you force her into marriage?
Did she marry you out of pressure/age not on her side?
I am afraid, she's not just into you. It's just a matter of time, the spark will fade away before you guys hit 5yr anniversary...that's even if that was spark at all
