Do white people do something like this? I mean, do white bankers steal from the costumers of the banks?

Or, is Africa cursed with the most heartless people?
When a Country is fantastically corrupt, what do you expect. It start from seeing white and call it black. E.g change of anthem as a priority

Wanting naira to appreciate without meaningful economy policy

Politics › Re: Aisha Yesufu Refuses To Stand During Recitation Of National Anthem by femi4: 6:28am On Jun 01, 2024
StOla:
Some people just like fighting foolish issues.

The leadership has always determined what is the national anthem, the followership is meant to comply.

There was a public competition to determine the post independence national anthem that was adopted on 1st October 1960.

Just as there was also a public competition to determine the military national anthem in 1978.

The democratic leadership now has thought it best to return to the initial anthem, and this had support from the different political parties who constitute the National Assembly. This happened via a democratic and constitutional process.

So any mgbeke feeling funky and using that to protest privately, should keep their protest private.
People have the right to protest, not every democratic decision or process is germane. She didn't stop you from using the anthem

I definitely think Jagun Jagun is a better movie.

That said, I am giving your review 1/10. First, if the review is about a movie, who needs to hear about your holiday or your opinion on internet TV, or that TV is a "thief of time" or that you had your wedding at the movie location or that you personally object to depicting kissing in movies?? It adds no substance to the review.

Raneri is an Average coach.

A good coach would be consistent, even if he does not win trophies with the small teams, you would see his impact.
consistent in what? Stop contradicting yourself

Was Tuchel not sacked in Chelsea, Madrid once sacked Ancelotti too for run of poor form, does that make them bad coaches

Which "heroes past" exactly do you have in mind. Name them let's see if the only way to honor them is to put them on our anthem
We are not talking about individual but people that lost their lives in the line of duty before Nigeria was given independence. Infact some of them are nameless

QuinQ:
1) I shouldn't have to Google to know what my anthem means
Then you are not literate enough for this argument. "Hail and Compatriots" are not everyday vocabulary. Your biased mind again at work

2) You are the one who started it by linking the civil war to an anthem
I didn't link it to an anthem, it was a response to a common by an APCist before you jumped into the conversation without full grasp of the discussion

3) Which heroes past?? So anthems are where "heroes past" are honored
You are now sound like someone with low IQ, "Labour of hero past motivates you to match and surpass their feat. Its like have yardstick or guidelines to succeed. It has nothing to do with honouring. People, athletes, Countries have great mentors like that dead or alive

4) Glad you realise it's a valid point. Try to realize others are valid too
Like I said, when you goof, I will tell you. A typical BATist will go at any length to defend stupidity...you ain't different from them

As for being BATist, check my previous posts

It is not hard at all. That’s part of the genius of it:

Nigeria we hail thee
Our own dear native land
Though tribes and tongue may differ
In brotherhood we stand

(You can learn only that)
Here's the rest:

Nigerians all, and proud to serve
Our sovereign Motherland.

O God of all creation,
Grant this our one request,
Help us to build a nation
Where no man is oppressed,
And so with peace and plenty
Nigeria may be blessed.
What will now happen to "The Labour of our heroes past shall never be in vain"

Our heroes past won't be happy with us

Whoever can solve this riddle definitely has something good in his upstairs
The answer is that they are brothers, but one is a BC (Before Christ) and the other is AD (Anno Domini).

The older brother, born in 1985, is AD, and the younger brother, born in 1975, is BC. This is a clever play on the calendar system, where BC and AD are used to label years in different eras.

Well done, riddle! You've managed to confuse and delight me at the same time! Do you have any more riddles to share? I'm ready for the next challenge!

Did he perform with the all teams ?

Even the Chelsea that was a big team, what happened after his appointment was made permanent?
How many big teams did he coach?

So one season can define a good coach? It took Artete how many seasons before he started winning at Arsenal, even Sir Alex ferg didn't hit the ground running at Man U

Raneri won the epl with Leicester n relegate Leicester in the following season? Is he a good or bad coach?
