Education / Re: Nigerian College Of Aviation Technology Zaria Students- Lets Meet by femo2000(m): 1:01pm On Jul 09, 2008
@PIAE

Hello Sir, I applied to study Aircraft Maintenance Engineering(A&P) and I am told the entrance exam will come up around August 2008. I believe i'm going to scale trough it.
Although my original plan is to be a Pilot, I was advised to study Aircraft Maintenance Engineering(A&P) and then take flying courses after graduation. This is due majorly to the cost. I also want to know the career prospect for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, since thats what you studied and practising.

Although my parent will be sponsoring me, it will be alot of relief on them if I can get industry sponsor. I will also appreciate you assistance in this regard.

Religion / Re: Whats Your View About Pork (meat From Pig) As A Christian by femo2000(m): 12:17pm On Jul 09, 2008
Pigs are some of the cleanest animals on earth.

The Issue is that pigs dont have sweat glands so in other to regulate body temperature,
they wallow in mud & sand (thats in the wild or free range) and root out things with their snout.
But in the real sense under intensive farming pigs are neat, they have a seperate place in the pen to excrete.

Do you know that when pigs are trained, they are smarter than Dogs (This is Proven)

They can also recognise upto 30 other pigs in the family.

It has also been proven scientifically that pork is more nutritious than beef and chicken

And for the lime and maggot thing, it is not true

Poultry and Piggery are most higly controlled animal husbandry system in terms of health Status in the world e.t.c
It may be true for pigs and other animals caught in the wild and not those reared for consumption.

Nairalanders PORK IS SWEET smiley cool

WHATS YOUR VIEW ABOUT PORK (MEAT FROM PIG) AS A CHRISTIAN

Fellow Nairalanders, has the bible anything thing against the consumption of pork as new testament christians.
For me , I dont think there is anything wrong in consunimg it.

think of it Britons,Americans,Chinese e.t.c consume it and some of them are chritians, born again, HolyGhost filled and tongue speaking.

What is the problem in Nigeria?

Please post your honest views with scriptural backing where possible

@wham

With regards to the 8 guys virgin sponsored,
I was at the Head Office of Virgin Nigeria some time last week to make enquiry at the the 9th floor of etiebets house and all I was told by the cute front office lady after like 10mins she went inside some offices there was that those guys they sponsored were in-house people i.e they are allready staff of V.N and that if I was already a pilot she would have just asked me to drop my C.V and they would get back to me.

@ forum
but what I dont understand is that According to the article I read in the papers and on their website, thay called those guys cadet and they were going to D U.S for 10mnths and obtain CPL. The question is, is it possible for a ''cadet'' that does not have a CPL to be a Staff of V.N and what does it take to become this so called CADET or is there some Kind of Politics going on in V.N towards the selection of cadidates.

@ rez
I prefer to be a Commercial line Pilot to a rotary wing, What was your first interview with Bristow like I mean for ab-initio candidates?.
Is the application for the next interview still open? I am thinking u know things sometimes may work out in another way

IT MAY INTEREST YOU TO KNOW THAT THE 2 DAUGTHERS OF Dr. DAVID OYEDEPO ARE CURRENTLY STUDENTS OF C.U.

I learnt recently the child of one of the senior pastor in Winners Chapel was expelled for exam malpractices.

I believe if any of the Bishops children are found guilty of any of the rules, they will not be spared.

Food / Re: What Can I Cook For My Igbo Husband? by femo2000(m): 4:49pm On Jun 14, 2008
Hello Leilah,

I would like you to try this to compliment your efforts.

On a good afternoon after preparing the food according to the recipes given by ngigbo nairalanders, the next thing is your mode of serving the food(it has to change to embarass him abit)
1 make sure the A/C is off
2 don't include fork and knife on your dining set infact dont place the food on the dining table, it has to be on the center table in the living room. while he sits on the couch
3 he has to eat with his hands so get a bowl filled with water to quarter. so as to wash both hands (trust you have hit him hard).
4 dont let him drink water/juice/palmwine form a tiny glass cup/50cl bottle  [b]IT HAS TO BE IN A 1LITER JAR AT  -5DEG CELCIUS
5 after he finish eating put on the A/C ang get him toothpick. In less thn 10mins he will fall asleep (sue me if he does not)

when he finally awakes if you both decided to get to cloud 7, I bet you he will deliver like never before (just make sure the kids aint at home cos he wount stop till cock crows (sue me on this one too)
Travel / Re: About Singapore! by femo2000(m): 5:02pm On May 27, 2008
Singapore is a very nice place to live, my dad had been there 2wice on business trips and he says its heaven on earth,

its so organized and cleaneessssst city state, all roads tarred, good transport system i.e bus, taxi and MRT (railway) every thing automated.

He also says they respect age especially at the immigration point at the airport. and they are polite and hospitable people. even in the public bus, a young boy would stand up for an elderly or pregnant woman to sit .(I wonder when that will happen in Nigeria). The issue is if you are cautious and polite as well they will replicate it. so as a Nigerian Behave.

He also said you dont eat in the pub. bus, and if yoou drop waste on the floor its $$500 sing dollars.

The amazing thing is that there is food everycorner even in 20-30 storey buildings. I wonder How d govt manage to do that.

He said the average pay per hour is about SGD$8-SGD$10

I am actually thinking of visiting there for christmas

Romance / Re: Advantages Of Polygamy? by femo2000(m): 9:15pm On Jan 23, 2008
In the 21st century Polygamy has got no advantage.

Our forefathers usually marry more than one wife cos of their farming activities, since there were no schools then, the only thing the wives and children can do is to do the farm workas co labourers which helps the man of the house to cultivate large expanse of land and also reduce cost of production.
Although they enjoy the other aspect of changing pussy every other night. But usually they marry the other wives as young Virgins.

This days most men that engage in polygamy marry the 2nd wife and subsequent ones disvirgined and this is were promiscuity comes in cos the man has probably arrived.
Note all polygamous homes has to do with the man having Arrived,This day men who marry more than one wife without money are usually old fashioned illitrates.

The Problem with Polygamy starts onces d 2nd wife comes in and starts with fullforce when the man dies suddenly.
There is no way the wives will love each other so, they begin to go diabolical against each others childrens progress. I tell you many great destinies has been ruined this way.

But there are so many angles to this polygamy thing
for example: A young xtian man who is married with 2 chldren. But because of his charming face a particular female office colleague began to flaunt her thing and became the nicest girl in d office and they started as cusual friends go to launch together, and suddenly the thing this girl flaunts regularly caught the guys attn and over powered his willpower. and then just the 1st night of secret sex led to pregnancy. what will the guy do. Abortion is not an option, so he has to marry the girl by force. After the whole story , (u Know dat kin thing) The legal wife accepted the lady as a 2nd wife to her husband in the same house.

Guess what the only thing the Man lost is the inability to take any post in the church , and I bet U God speaks to him more than the pastor of his church.

Now where Do You Place This One?

In all, Polygamy is not always a good option.
But for those who are already in it the following tips will help, I believe solve some Problems

1. Build your personal relationship with God to another level.
You cannot be close to God and he will not see to all your Home troubles.
NB That does not mean you cannot have sex with your wives again.

2. In all your getting get Understanding, never be tired of searching for information that will help you manage the marriage wile it last, cos every man's ignorance is his mountain.

3. Strive to get to a level of Financial Abundance because What money will solve, grammar will not solve it.
Money answereth all things.

Mean while Tight your thing when you are going out so u dont get another wife, learn from mistakes.

also I would ask him to give me his direct line(mtn, celtel ,glo, starcomms is prefered**cheaper**) so I can call at all time when we depart from the date. I would also ask him to give me the gift of visions and revelation and let me exprerience the Holy Spirit in a higher Dimension.

Religion / Re: Spirit, Soul And Body - What's The Difference? by femo2000(m): 5:26am On Jan 19, 2008
Man is essentially a spirit, he has a soul and lives in a body.

The spirit is the real man, the inner man and the part that is unique with GOD.

The Soul is the seat of Intelligence and emotions

The body is the one we carry about, the outer Jacket, that waresout and when its too weak we die,the soul dies also
But the spirit cannot be weak and cannot die.

when a person dies it is wrong to say ''may his gentle soul rest in peace'' this is because it is the spirit that lives on .

So, the correct sequence according to scriptures is SPIRIT SOUL AND BODY not the other way round.
