Did those protests actually happen cos a friend called to tell me it did. If they said they didn't vote in Akwa, how come it was only Idemili that some party was shouting?

Y do ppl have short term memory?
Peter obi is just a better rigger .
He don meet his senior, he who wants equity must come clean first
lol. They've forgotten. Now, he's crying. Do unto others as you want done to you. He started it in Anambra and now that the seedling is sprouting and others are feeding from that seed he planted, he wants the tree to be cut down.

I'm so ashamed of all the political parties we have in Nigeria.
This is a sad statement for a PDP supporter whose candidate, Tony Nwoye, stated on AIT that there was electoral fraud in Anambra. One would have thought you'd be behind your candidate's position. Your rant above shows that there is more to this fraud than meets the eye. Here we have PDP agents in collusion with APGA agents with the support of some unscrupulous INEC agents, rigging an election and disenfranchising so many Anambrarians, an affair which should be condemned by all progressive minded people.

taharqa is certainly not one of those progressives. SMH
What makes you think other parties weren't involved? You just chose the bolded to make them look bad when all were involved? That is not to say I support what happened but look at things objectively.
Kingsley1000: APGA members were busy buying people's vote in my ward at enugu-ukwu....no true democracy.shame on them
Didn't PDP buy people's vote too? huh

kokoA: The INEC chairman is live on AIT right now and he agreed that deliberate attempts were made by a member of his staff to disrupt the election in these areas. This is sad. Ngige's supporters were deliberately disenfranchise by the ruling party and some bad eggs in INEC.. Smh @ Naija.
When you say the ruling party, are you talking of APGA or PDP? Cos as far as I know, every party in the state tried rigging the election in their favour. It was here we heard PDP was doling out 10 - 15k, APC thugs forcing people to thumbprint theirs, APGA and Labour sharing money also (going by the accounts of Nairalanders in Anambra) so every party is to partake in the blame including INEC. See Tony Nwoye ranting as if he didn't do the same
PoliticsRe: Saharareporters: Gov Poll Results: (APGA) Wins In 16 Lgas by Feraz(m): 5:41pm On Nov 17, 2013
mystical10: apga dn win any vote in SW in ur life b4 even common councilor but AC , ACN dn win in SE. Even yoruba man cant even build huz in SE tribalism to core ppl.
That is what I'm saying. Did they go to the South-East and were chased back by the people resident there? Did they put up structures there and it was torn down by the people there? Have they lived or pitched their tents there and were treated as people that aren't worthy of being called humans instead of Nigerians? Most of them haven't crossed the Niger river yet they say we're backward because their candidate they so want to win didn't win even when official results haven't been released. They use the Igbo tribalists on Nairaland to judge the South-East when most haven't experienced any wicked thing there. Ngige won the senatorial seat despite him being in another party and people knowing what transpired back in 2003 yet they say Anambranians vote party. This same party they allowed grow into what it is today. When we talk, we should talk objectively.

Pls, we should focus on the topic at hand and not drag other states into this discussion. The issue is about Anambra. Thank you.

JaaizTech: it makes me wanna weep for them.It is unbelievable some of the comments one reads here!. They are not even discussing developmental issues or who promises a better programhuh Or even the achievements of yhe past governorhuh It is so sad. I don't really know much about the candidates, but when i read comments dissing Tinubu, Fashola, Buhari, i begin to wonder if they are also contesting for the election!
Did you watch the debate? If you did, did Ngige make sense to you if we're to go by the bolded above? Like I said earlier, if I were to vote based on manifesto, I'd have gone for Ifeanyi Uba cos he made more sense than Ngige. Imagine being asked a question and you're quoting the bible saying "your left hand should not know what your right hand is doing". Asked about manifesto and he said he doesn't need one. Does it make sense to you if we're to go by the bolded above? Siting VIP toilets and boreholes as projects that he has carried out. As for the achievement of the past governor, there are numerous threads here on Nairaland that has discussed that. Maybe it's cos Peter didn't focus mainly on the capital, that is why y'all are thinking he didn't do anything. I'm not an APGA supporter neither do I like Peter but I'm only trying to show y'all that the person you guys so badly want to win doesn't have anything to offer but is always making reference to past things he did and always talking about experience in government instead of carrying the people along on the projects you intend to offer.
Deep in the hearts of Anambrarians they love Ngige and want him to be their governor, but because he associated with a yoruba party, they now decided not to vote him.....Is that not stupidity in the highest level?
When you say they refused to vote for him because of party, are you using Nairaland as your case study or you're using Anambra? And if they truly love him, he'd have won in the election that brought Peter Obi to power the second time. And like I said earlier, despite the party he was in, they voted him in to become a senator so the grounds of party doesn't count here....
PoliticsRe: Saharareporters: Gov Poll Results: (APGA) Wins In 16 Lgas by Feraz(m): 3:58pm On Nov 17, 2013
The reason Ngige won the senetorial seat is because Dora has lots of enemies in anambra. When Dora was the head of Nafdac, she destroyed lots of shops and goods in onitsha, which were fake drugs. Most shops in anambra were shut down. Most Anambrarians saw her as an enemy of progress
Recall he won by a very small margin. My point is that when Anambranians want a candidate to win, they go for it.

If it were to be in Imo state, Ngige would have won, cos Imolites don't vote party....Anambra is just the opposite of Imo.
lol... Now, Anambranians vote party yet despite their hatred for Ngige's party, he won senatorial seat at APGA's expense. Pls, come up with something better cos these lies are beginning to turn to truth in some people's eyes. If it favours y'all, it is the absolute. If not, they're fools for voting someone you didn't pitch your tents with.

Your name na 2mouth?
What do you expect? They were all hailing Saharareporters yesterday now they don't want to believe them.

Besides, as humans, we tend to pick what favour us in order to pass our points across just like how Ifeanyi Uba used Ngige's own words to favour himself in the last Channels TV debate that held before the election yesterday.

rapmike: Please jounin level and ANBU levels r different please, ANBU guys r above Jounin guys.
Pls, don't say this again. Which ANBU is above Jounin? This is the mistake we make. How many ANBU guys in different villages can match Kakashi, Guy, Asuma, Kurenai except for Itachi? ANBUs are not above Jounins, rather they're like secret foot soldiers.
People be shouting Itachi took out his entire clan...could he have beaten his father in a fight? How sure are we that Obito didn't even do most of the killings?

I shudder at what Pain would have done should he have gotten to Myoubukouzan when there is no known direction to the place.

How did Itachi get to find where Kabuto was if not with the help of Pain?

Itachi is good no doubt but when compared to Pain, bros, he's no match. I so love Itachi for what he was able to pull against the dreaded Orochimaru, against his clan, rigging the fight between him and his brother, dealing with Kabuto, in the case of Shisui, holding his own against Kakashi, holding his own against Kisame, putting Danzõ on check, putting his life for Konoha, above all, his intelligence in tight situation. He even made a great difference in the war better than Nagato. He remains one of my favourite very good bad guy.

And I hate when people say Pain isn't intelligent. If you talk about dumb people in the Narutoverse, Hidan takes the cake then we can talk of Deidara. I swear I miss Hidan and his curses.

PoliticsRe: APC Vows To Reject Anambra Election Result Due To Disenfranchised Voters by Feraz(m):
Election results haven't been announced they've started crying. People here insulting Jega that he can't conduct a free and fair election forgetting that it the same person that conducted Edo's state election that brought Oshiomole to power. When they don't win, they cry foul; when they win, it is absolute.
Y'all make me sick with your hypocrisy.
APC is an evolving party that may turn out not to be too good; but PDP is an evil party that should be condemned by all sensible Nigerians.

I honestly do not like Tinubu; I seem to like Buhari because I believe he is clean even as he may be an old man.

If there is a way to help APC grow without Tinubu factor, I will do that; but knowing fully well that Nigerian has tuned a very corrupt and sickening country, I wouldn't mind working with Tinubu; though I must be mindful of what he can do at all times. I must watch him in anticipation of a sharp evil move.

But I am very ashamed that whereas other parts of Nigeria has recognised that GEJ is incapable of leading Nigeria; my fellow Igbos have refused to see this. Whereas the North and West are pulling together to take clueless GEJ out of power; my Igbos have refused to be proactive and work for tomorrow; we are stuck in yesterday.

GEJ have the power today; but I can see clearly that he is gone. Instead of my people position together for our good as Igbos and Nigerian in General; we are stuck in the past. We have allowed GEJ and our corrupt elders to mislead us.

God please save we IGBOs from our numerous blunders in Nigeria.

I wish Ngige luck. It is a shame that we are comparing him with common touts like Uba and Nwoye.
What will you say about the fact that he rigged 2003 election with a well known tout in the person of Chris Uba?

People here forget that Ngige was voted into the senatorial seat despite his political affliation at the expense of APGA's Dora Akunyili who'd have done better yet they say we look at tribal politics. They let their party grow into what it is today and when an Igbo man tries to do the same, they say they're fools for not following a democratic party that was nurtured into what it is today due to patience yet they'll make fun at the same set of people for not having a party of their own.

These are the same set of people swearing heaven and earth that they can't stay in an erosion ridden, drug trafficking state whereas they insult the people who are resident there and also want their political party to win. Hypocrisy at its best.

As to your question of why the Igbos are still with Jonathan, I think jbaur24 summed it up.

freecocoa: Atleast he did something in his hometown and he was there for only two years plus he was barely hanging due to the fact that the devils he made a deal with wouldn't let him be(not that it is ok to make a deal with devils btw), if he had more time he'd have done a lot.

Obi had power for 8 years, what did they do with it?he only woke up recently because he wants to impose Obiano on us. I'd have had no problem with Obiano but I do because its pretty obvious that Obi is the one who'd still be in power if Apga wins and I honestly don't want that.
And do you think Peter didn't do something for his hometown? It's not like I'm supporting Peter but if I were to choose based on their manifesto, I'll go for Ifeanyi Uba. The same about Obi's eight years can be said about Ngige's time spent in the senate house. Thanks all the same

I'm not talking about the winner or loser but talking about how people here are screaming Ngige when I asked what he's done when he was a governor apart from his place. What makes him credible when we all know how he came into power and what he did to get power at all costs. I also said we look past party by voting him as a senator. Enlighten me pls because I'm ignorant of what he did while he was a governor apart from his hometown.
PoliticsRe: Anambra Election: Inec Citizens Contact Centre: Reporting Live by Feraz(m): 3:41pm On Nov 16, 2013
I wonder why everyone is shouting Ngige here. A man that couldn't answer the questions thrown at him in the last Channels TV debate? Even Ifeanyi Uba did better. Someone that couldn't answer properly what he did with the constituency allowance given to him but was siting borehole as a project? Something those going for NYSC do in communities. Asked how he was gonna tackle the issue of kidnapping and he couldn't provide concrete answers. Asked about his manifesto and he said he doesn't need one of which Ifeanyi Uba used it to score serious points against him. A known election rigger. I ask what's he gonna do for Anambra state?

People here be shouting he's a credible man and I ask credible in what sense? Apart from the place he's from, pls, enlighten me on what he did in other parts of Anambra when he was a governor. A doctor that didn't build a hospital during his time.

Some said we're voting out of sentiments forgetting that despite APGA being the ruling party in Anambra, people looked passed it and put Ngige in the senatorial seat.
TV/MoviesRe: Naruto Information by Feraz(m): 12:01pm On Nov 16, 2013
Rapmike, if Naruto didn't give intels on Nagato's techniques, how long do you think they'd have lasted while battling him before counter attacks will come up? Even Jiraiya-sama had to retreat to recollect all he had gathered before advancing for the second stage of the fight.

You say he couldn't save Konan when she was kidnapped? You forget that then, he preferred taking orders from Yahiko and that their organisation decided not to resort to violence to achieve peace? You forget that he showed them that he had the power to save Konan when Yahiko was killed? This was a dude that mastered all the elements at a very young age.
If y'all had said the five bodies, fine but Tendõ (Yahiko), bros, that body is too much.

It's Kishi I blame for giving Naruto a swift victory during the invasion of Konoha by Pain arc.

And pls, in terms of intelligence, don't put Itachi and Minato on the same pedestal. Minato far surpasses Itachi.
