The useless mega church buildings all these gods of men are erecting up and down after fleecing their mumu followers in the name of God that still miraculously drops manna from heaven is not enough. It is now for the stupid Governor to pump state treasury into another mega church. Nigeria needs mega industrial parks, mega technological innovation, mega brains that think with their mind not with their anus.
The atheists or whatever they call themselves is right on this and I support them 100%. We are a secular society, see how most people are supporting the foolishness of the Governor. Nigerians are always been fooled with religion but they are all a bunch of Godless human beings

joyousever:
The govt.job will be yours & yours only, but your uncle's business is his & his only and you'll only be a caretaker there. If he's not pleased by you, he could fire you at any time & there's no job security in a business u're managing for someone. Therefore, take the govt.job where u won't be threatened by job insecurity. And u could run your uncle's biz simultaneously with your govt. Job.
Job security, job security on less than 60k per month at the moment, probably no hope of up to 100%increase in the next 15yrs.Too much fear of the unknown is the reason why so many people are poor for life. Why won't he take the job learn on the job and plan towards establishing his own company.

naijaguy123456:

52 out of the continent’s 55 countries have signed the free trade agreement with the exception of Benin, Eritrea, and Nigeria due to concerns raised by local businesses. Nigeria’s failure to sign the agreement was due to concerns raised by its manufacturing association which says the AfCFTA would have a negative impact on its members.

Nigeria will regret this big time. There is so much to gain from being a partner to this agreement.

The pact aims to boost intra-African trade by making Africa a single market of 1.2 billion people and a cumulative GDP over $3.4 trillion. The UN Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) estimates that the implementation of the agreement could increase intra-African trade by 52% by 2022 (compared with trade levels in 2010) and double the share of intra-African trade (currently around 13% of Africa’s exports) by the start of the next decade.

Copied
I disagree. Member countries should first ensure that they take care of their local economies and Security before being integrated. In Africa there are more free crime, unemployment, insecurities to integrate than free trade
This is the the best decision Nigeria can make for now. We have enough problems with our porous unsecured border. Africa is a century away different from Europe

This is the reason why I don't see reasons why the office of the CJN should be on appointment. Yet, we will constantly be fed with lies that the Judiciary is independent. How is it independent when the CJN has to do the biddings of the executive arm?

Shebi, America and Nigeria practices same Federalism, but it seems like ours is a joke.

If you think Atiku will win this case, then you're a dreamer. A sitting president in a third world country like Nigeria doesn't give up power that easily. BTW, the CJN who is the head of the supreme court is his appointee.
American CJN go through the same process as Nigeria. Our problem is weak institutions that makes the President looks like an Emperor

When UBA merged with standard trust bank then,UBA was the bigger bank so the two becomes UBA while standard trust brought the logo. The scenario played between Access bank and Diamond bank. The Lady is the bigger shareholder in this scenario so her name must be used. Ladies it is time you people wake up, demand for your right, if you are going be the bigger shareholder, your name must be used. You can't just hussle finish then come and change your name to one bingo, just because he carry dick in between his legs. Business › Re: Fraud In Corporate Nigeria: Union Bank As A Case Study by Ferdinandu(m): 5:29pm On May 22, 2019
I can never forget Union Bank in a hurry. Paid my school fees in 2nd year but when I went to do clearance after graduation they told me that my name wasn't among the ones sent by Union bank as one of those that paid. Later went to the bank and discovered we were many having the same issue. All our efforts to retrieve our money from union bank proved abortive and the school refused to intervene on our behalf. We all had to repay the school fees again. Later we learnt that one of their staff committed the fraud which they discovered and sacked the staff even before we came for the complaint yet they refused to own up and accept responsibility. Useless bank.

If He is truly his old friend, why showing the whole world that he wants to do them a favour. Which kind of nonsense friend is this? He just want to use them to polish his ministry
If not for poverty, those couple should have called him aside and discuss the cost of positive publicity he stylishly used them to do for his ministry. I'm sure if you value the cost of that advert, it is more than the value of the house. How much does MTN, Glo and Co pay to those celebrities they use for advert. These churches are equivalent to these big companies

Thanks your contribution. It's not my business idea though. As for me I've dabbled into many businesses recently but only one seems to be working effortlessly, it makes me feel like they're particular businesses meant for certain people because all the ideas I've exploited has been done in the same location and for that one it's effortless. This is a business that I have watched many people close shop due to failure.

Is it really about business plan? I doubt most uneducated people have time to do business plans yet their businesses survive even more.
There is no question about formal education here. You don't have to write it down for it to be a business plan. It is about the do's and don'ts of your business. It is about the extent you have to go to make your business succeed. It is about how you are going to prospect for clients, it is about how you are going to make your business different from your competitors, it is about how you are going to leverage on your street smartness to compete with already established competitors.

My neighbor uncle lost his job recently and wants to consider setting it up, but is it still lucrative?
Every business that was lucrative before is still lucrative now, once there is still a high demand for the good or service. If you want to enter any business, never have the mindset of most people "there is a business out there that once you open you start picking money like you planted money tree in your backyard. Every business you see people making big cash in, there are some closing shop because it is failing them. Same way every business you see many people closing up shop for but there is still demands, there are others smiling to the bank.
If you want to venture into businesses do your home work very well, research do business plan, try follow your plan and above all be really really resilient.

a) Porous borders.

b) Inaccurate database of its population.

c) No community police.

d) Underfunded and ill-trained law enforcement officers.

Did the developed countries whom Sowore recommend Nigeria should copy start by planting cannabis?

Did they not get their education, science and technology and manufacturing right first?
