Pricing

I know this is a BB favourite and will be priced higher there. But typical me would set this at a significant higher price on SH.

This may sell fast, slow, or not at all, but one of the keys to sales is to manage our expectations when it comes to pricing.

Though there may be exceptions, but any savy business man will go for a quick turnover any day above a future/uncertain mega profit.

interesting...
Obviously worth more. Took a quick glance at BB names. I can see lots of *rr/r* ending (suffix) names priced at $4k upwards.
You've owned this name since 2012?

Ummmm. 20k Naira?
Maybe domain investing... I don't know if this is really a skill sha. More like a business.
But you have to be prepared to READ.

Apus:
Just noticed names pending approval are now being classified for free on SH?

Yes. For SH registered. It's a likely pointer that those names would be accepted.

This is the information i message i received below

Will bodis give me my payment without completing this tax stuff, I don't know how to go about it

You have to complete it. What information are they asking you to provide?

Not surprised.
They are now like a Ministry under the Federal Government.
Zero Independence.

Use 3000+ Naira to buy a .com domain and try to see if you can resell it.
You have 1 year to find a buyer. I wrote about this on one of my threads.

I need someone to sell off my websites and you get a commission. One is an e-commerce website and the other an affiliate website. DM my signature

Hi, my NL pm doesn't work.
My contact mail is on my domain thread (visit the website).
Or reach me on telegram. Details also on my domain thread.

So my post on trusted registerar's for buying domain was hidden by the bot.

See my list of newbie/jjc friendly registrars in the screenshot below. There are other registrars apart from these ones, but as a newbie, I will advise you to stay with any or all of the listed.
Kindly avoid Nigerian registrars e get why...

You try.
However, One problem I have with all these "5 types of online...", "3 ways to bla bla bla", is that detailed guides on how to start, are hard to find.

Few weeks ago, I created a thread on how to buy and sell domains with as little as 3500 naira+. I also mentioned ways Creative people could earn money by simply suggesting business names (Zero Capital).

ZaRed:
They don't want creatives to base their new submissions solely on recently sold names' keywords—I guess.

No. Something happened on twitter recently. Someone was analysing/criticising a 4 letter name that sold recently on SH... Then Some back and forth...
Next, the marketplace insight and recently sold dashboard were removed shortly after.

Are we all sinners?

I was following a conversation on Facebook and the majority of commenters were like, "we are all sinners", "Nobody is/can be righteous", and so on.

Well, let me ask nairaland pastors, Bishops, Apostles, Reverends, etc, what Titus was trying to say in Titus 2:11-14
Revised Standard Version

11 For the grace of God has appeared for the salvation of all men,
12 training us to renounce irreligion and worldly passions, and to live sober, upright, and godly lives in this world,
13 awaiting our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior[a] Jesus Christ,
14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all iniquity and to purify for himself a people of his own who are zealous for good deeds.

Help us understand what Titus was trying to say.

Can you please shed more light on the bolded?

Some Endusers have what is called FAX number on their websites. Text based messages can be sent to those numbers and it would be read/printed? by the fax machine.
Only did for this particular situation sha. Used some free service I saw online. It's like something outdated but still in use.
Do a Google search for Fax sha.

A Funny Story

Let me just drop this sales report because of the story behind it.

So I gave a scrapper 4 domains to get end users for me. He came back and asked me to replace one of those domains because the tool he was using for the scrapping can't work for that particular domain's country.

I replaced it with the domain in the screenshot below. A geo I bought in 2019 (renewed 2020). Did several outbounds but didn't sell.

He sent the Enduser list for that particular domain, and the number of Endusers was less than 20 (after removing duplicates and all that).

I outbounded to more Endusers last year than the small list he was giving me. I even used FAX for outboud!

Anyway, because the list was small, I started with that.

And it sold that same day!

Maybe luck, providence, Grace, hardwork, whatever...

But the domain was quite good sha.
I even reduced the price to $199 at some point as I wanted to get rid of it.

Other info: Sold via the new GoDaddy ns5/ns6 Landers.

U1:
My people, could you share how long you have gone without a sale and what you did, if anything, to break the cycle?

This "drought" is somewhat troubling. Most leads open emails and even click links but nothing afterwards. Discounts don't seem to excite them either - including those that previously showed interest.

Yet, I thought the quality of names acquired this year is better than before. This thing taya me o.

I think Ikhalyfah once wrote his longest time without sale was about three weeks. This one is over 30 days already.

As per how long
What I did:
1. Created a new and sensible email address for outbounding.
2. Got new leads/Endusers/prospects.
3. Fixed my signature.
4. Outboud again.

Maybe your domains have several variations, and other domainers are also offering those variations to Endusers. This can cause confusion you know.

Also, maybe those Web/IT guys endusers consult have finally declared war on geo domains & domainers. you never can tell.
