Please I need an answer, I started antenatal today, registered since 9wks. I did scan today and was measuring 3weeks ahead (18W instead of 15W4D) and my EDD shifted to 2nd week of June instead of July and is singleton. My first scan gave me the exact week I calculated. I know pregnancy is +/-2wks but this 3wks got me confused even the sonographer started from the beginning and was still getting the same thing.

Please what could be the cause.

Your dating scan/most accurate scan is the first scan you did in your 1st trimester. Once you get to your second trimester your baby's weight depends on so many other factors like diet, genetics etc hence cannot be used to calculate your edd. So pls edd doesn't change, still remains the 1st one.

16wks cramp aren't normal. See a doctor. Take lots of water, the uterus contracts whennever the body needs water. Relax and rest a lot too.

Maldox is taken after quickening, i. e after you start to feel your baby move. So pls don't take it pls. You can take ACTs at all trimesters of pregnancy

I'm doing great, tnx...happy Sunday to u. The IUI is on hold for now because of the left ovarian cyst I had for a year now...d doctor said it must be removed before d procedure since I will be stimulated. I've tried many treatment options for dis cyst but it's not resolving at all.

My concern now is where to do laparoscopy surgery at a lower cost since my job won't avail me all d healing time an open surgery might take. Just so confused....

My gynae placed me on clomid, i saw my period two days late and it wasnt flowing normal so i went for a scan, the result of the scan is below:


Normal sized, non gravid uterus is seen - 49mm×41mm×44mm.
No adnexal pathology is identified
No collection seen in the P.O.D

Impression
1. A cyesis
2. Normal pelvic scan


Please help me out on the interpretation.
