The Oraifite incidence is unfortunate...

What happened in Oraifite is a mystery, you may never hear the real story.

But I can tell you as an Onye Oraifite that

1. Barr. Ejiofor's attitude to the people's heritage was the catalyst as captured in the OIU message.

2. That the IPOB boys in Ejiofor's House actually killed two officers and set them ablaze.

3. That the officers were actually doing their job, the right time, but at the wrong place. They should have waited for Ejiofor to report to the station than go to his house knowing fully well that the probability of meeting resistance was high.

4. That the Police and Military were wrong in the height of their retaliation. They could have destroyed only Barr. Ejiofor's properties, but they went further in a stupid manner to wreck havoc on innocent neighbours.

5. That majority of Ndị Oraifite are happy with the Masquerade ban. As they have been causing problems prior to this one.

6. That Barr. Ejiofor's predicament was a pre-planed set up by power breakers in Oraifite, a bait, which he swallowed Hook, line and sinker.

7. That the people of that neighbouhood still live in fear, and that peace need to return there.

8. That the President General of Oraifite, Sir. Sunny Igboanuzue and the Isi Obi Oraifite, Dr Dan Udoji should as a matter of urgency call on the state government and other well meaning people to come to the aid of the victims of the barbaric acts of the military, on innocent indigenes whose homes and shops were destroyed.


I speak not the mind of IPOB or the Police, but the mind of most Oraifite people, where I proudly hail from and live in. Anaedo Amaka.

No IPOB member was comfirmed dead.

The only comfirmed casualties are the two burnt officers.

They were killed in the Ibolo axis of Nkwo to Nkwo Road, Oraifite, after a failed attempt to arrest some IPOB members who were in Barr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor's country home(Urudunu, Ifite Oraifite)... As they were driving to (probably) Oraififite Area Command Headquarters, in Isingwu Oraifite, in a bid to escape the imminent danger, the IPOB boys caught them. Some of the officers successfully escaped. Unfortunately, two were caught.

The IPOB saying their members were killed should show evidence.

I saw the scene, and only the Officers were there... Ablaze.
