Health / Re: NMA suspends strike.....Live Update Of NMA Emergency Delegate Meeting At Abuja. by ficoram(m): 9:31am On Aug 24, 2014
njokusboy:

Guy, you think like a clown.... a consultant is an expert in a field, by definition, a consultant is someone who provides expert advice professionally... except you are saying only doctors have the right to become experts...
There is nothing wrong with having a consultant nurse or a consultant pharmacists as long as they have attained a certain level of Expertise...
Look how slow you are, the lab scientists test for illnesses not Doctors, I remember how I almost died in 2009 because one doctor was just assuming diseases that were not there, it was until I went for a proper checkup that I realized I'd been treating the wrong sickness, these days I simply go to the lab, get a test result and proceed to the pharmacy... pharmacists make those drugs, mind you.... not doctors..
All this chestbeating is complete nonsense, everyone is equally important in the Medical Field, the Doctors' resolve to suppress and subjugate other medical practitioners is really misguided... The main grouse I have with these doctors is that 90% of them attended Federal Government Institutions, meaning, they were basically trained for FREE, did you get that, TRAINED FOR FREE... As student, they are already earning more than most workers in the civil service yet they come and start talking Trash... Let them not suspend the strike so people can keep dying, it's a business venture, the Hippocratic oath doesn't mean Jack.. Profit is the optimum goal, most of them have private Hospitals where they charge exorbitant prices anyway...

If he thinks like a clown i bet u process information at the
level of your caudal equina, i dont usually like to trade word on forum with people on issue bothering on disharmony in the health sector, but it is just painful when people come on board to make unsubstanciated submissions all in the name of making a point,
1. You alluded to the fact that doctors were TRAINED FOR FREE in fedral government universities....i want to put it to you that you lied. I can remember that back then in school we were even made to pay more than other students.
2. ...that pharmacist made those drugs and not the doctors,hmmm... where did you get such information from?.I just hope you have not been polluting young minds with such ill-thought information,by that i mean you should re-evaluate whatever purullent you have been feeding your wards,if you are old enough to have any.
3....that you almost died in 2009 save for the intervention of the lab scientist who performed a test that saved your life?.Dont worry your death my just be lurking around your corridor if you do not change this your BARBARIC HEALTH BEHAVIOR.

4.Finally i want you to know this, incase you have being mis-informed by desperate johesu members that they are subjugated and not allow to attain the highest level of professionalism. That no one has ever stop them from progressing, that the johesu can not just stand the aura of a physician consultant, thence they want to be one too, just like the nigerian police that now move about in camouflage uniform. what happens to being chief scientist, chief pharmacist and CNO?...uhh,you begin to wonder what inferiority complex can make people become.

Health / Re: Doctors Hit Lagos Streets To Protest Mass Sack (PHOTOS) by ficoram(m): 12:20am On Aug 19, 2014
I dont see any sense in the doctors in lagos taking to the.it just shows some level of unprofessionalism, you can imagine the ASUU members taking to the street and protesting against a government made up of dishonourable men and incompetent mofo.s. - common you guys are senior officers.I will imploy all doctors to :

1.Remain calm, dont talk too much or appear to be pertubed by the government misguided decission-just like we resolved here in the emergency general meeting we had at our own state chapter.

2.Ensure that nobody accept any sack letter or sign up for any locum(foolish government- you are fighting with an association yet you ask her members to come and take up temporary job with you, i thought the government will be inviting alliens from space to replace the doctor or better still the president could have mobilize the herbalist from Otueke to fill-up the doctors spaces.

3.We should remain resolute, develop an internal mechanism to ensure we minimize the negative impact the the suspension,if possible do other things to generate extra income. take up locum with your colleague and seniors-everyone is throwing their support behind the residents.we need to send a message to the government that we are not discomposed by their sack threat. then we shall see who blinks first.

Webmasters / Re: What Can One Do With Html by ficoram(m): 12:13am On Dec 30, 2013
Laryokeke:

I once programmed a compilation of ebooks in html, burnt it to an optical disk and sold it as a desktop application. the disc auto-ran once you inserted it and served its purpose effectively. this was done with HTML...using the disk as a server sort of.

I am also aware of a lot of chm files (compiled HTML) used mostly to program efficient e books with amazing abilities.

in conclusion; you can't use HTML (4) for writing 3,d games or creating another facebook but can it write a desktop application? yes.
i ll need ur assistance to help me convert some pdf files to chm(compiled html).we can negotiate on the cost.as chm files open better on my gadget

Thank you poster for sharing this insightful post,i truely appreciated it as i have read it line for line and word for word, digesting and trying as much as possible to give a personal interpretation to each point and its content.i think the resson why post like this are coming up often this days might be the fact that majority of this forum users are of marriage age and are looking forward to picking a partner in the nearest fearure. My point/deduction from this are

1.Every point raised are on target, but they are bitter truth, all may not be applicable in an ideal setting, and they are not what one will want to share with ones partner, lest u want some friction in the relationship, because no one can have it all.

2.Things like this are best learned before commitment into a relationship.

3.Wealth and personal gains changes the way one perceives all these.the economic situation of the country is not helping matter at that,a person who by default will posses most of this attribute might be forced by societal hardship to adopting the opposites.
Above all thank you for this piece it is what i will love to read over and over and share with matured minds.

Politics / Re: Toll Gates Back Soon On Federal Roads –onolememen by ficoram(m): 8:30pm On Dec 04, 2012
For me the issue of toll fee is a welcome developement, because when you pass through most of these roads, its a nightmare, then you begin to ask yourself how on earth ll the government commits herself to building this road, or if atall the roads are built, maintainance is another issue, the government will definately not commit her resources to this.Tolling is a world wide phenomenon and china has about the highest Tolled highway in the world.
My concern is management of this found, which I think a seperate account should be generated and not mix with the federal account.

Romance / Re: Do Nigerian Ladies Abroad Find It More Difficult To Find Husbands? by ficoram(m): 11:17am On May 28, 2012
@op.
I can understand your friend fear, but I ll advice her to take to the suggestion Ilaje made earlier-that your friend should summon courage and travel to the uk if she thinks that will be a better option.she should only play her cards well and the right man will come.
One thing I always recommend for my female friends is to- DEPRIVE your boyfriend of sex,be modest, despiracy is not an option, convince a man, with your actions, that u are about the best option for him,be seen as an ambitious woman and leave the rest to destiny to decide. This rule works anywhere. wish her the best.

Politics / Re: Boko Haram- 'why We Attacked Kano'. Who Are These Scholars? by ficoram(m): 7:59pm On Jan 23, 2012
Babagy has made a very important statement. The Emir, eminent people in Kano and the said scholars cant come out in the public to make their stand known, nor can they reveal information that will lead to the arrest of this faceless killers for fear of being attacked.Who will have any information and decide to give it to government/police,that will go about to reveal the identity of the informant?.The problem of curtailing the excesess of BH lies with our inefficient security system.
How will the police/security agency explain to Nigerians that a bombing that lasted 2hrs in Kano, the culprit could not be overpowered an immediate arrest made?what happen to coordinated operation btw the police, nigerian army and the Airforce on the day of the bombing?the police should have made a distress call to inform the Airforce who would have mount an air strike, block roads that leads in and out of kano-,or what are they being paid for?.it is a shame and it saddens the heart to be told that some group of faceless terorist group will be threatning the peace of this nation and no significant arrest has being made so far!.
I do not agree with people who thinks the killers should be granted amnesty-rubbish,we should give it whatever it take to overcome this evil call BH.We can not afford some group of miscreant to dictate to 160 million people.
Politics / Re: Why Is Eastern Nigeria Silent On Fuel Subsidy Removal? by ficoram(m): 9:32pm On Jan 13, 2012
the igbos we not protest, most especially those residing in the south east because their ethnic sentiment we not allow them to.they feel jonadul is one of them even though the policy was ill-timed and built on fraud!i reside here in the east and it is only the few educated one that are not in support of the removal, the majority of the pseudoeducated here are just making nauseating comment about the subsidy. For those of you crying wolf that fuel was being sold in the east at about 90 to 100,i want to put it to you that you are all bloody liar.most major marketer sells for N65 to N70.its the greed aod the excessive craving for wealth that has being making your independent marketer sell at high price and rob people of their money.I ll suggest you people should have a rethink on your stand about issues that concerns this country.

Politics / Re: Same-Sex Rights Activists Want Nigerian Homophobic Bill Dropped by ficoram(m): 1:10pm On Nov 02, 2011
Homosexualism is a form of sexual orientation, and anybody who chooses to be one should be let alone-though it nt a "CHOICE" people just find themselves to be one, just like an Asexual person. There are many married men and women among us,who cover up their identity with marriage for fear of being lynced.Let them be.

@Ayinba,i beg to differ with your assertion-Nigerian doctors ve stood the test of time and are still striving hard to keep up with their counterpart world over.Do you know that most Nigerian doctor that travels oversea to further their education are usually reffered to as ORACLE because of our ability to arrive at most diagnosis without depending on myriads of investigations.its the society that has not avail them the oppourtunity to reach their potential. We know how international trained doctors fare and what they are calpable of.No Hard feelings.thanks
