Let's say it's 1st of April, that means his rent expire 31st of April and he need to pay next 1st of may

He said he paid his rent on 18th of April 2019. The rent starts counting from that day. So from 18th of April to 18th of may that's 1 month.... Oppps sorry I now get the drift, if the rents start counting from that 18th the actual expiration of the rent should be 18th of April 2020. I now get the drift.
