Rolls Royce Turbomeca Adour jet engines in the jags.

I don't think we have any equivalent western built jet engines in the NAF today.

Mulatta:
Kabe1 or anyone, do you have any issue if the NAF has a plan for the Jaguar or if the NAF will allow a private Nigeria company take a look at it "take it apart".
The NAF made silly mistakes with the Jags. Am not sure but I think they should have removed and preserved the jet engines, and donate one each to AFIT and FUTO for reverse-engineering and study.
We got nothing from those jets, which shows indolence in thinking on the part of NAF top brass.

The downside of getting us weapons is the controls they put in the software and restrictions on how you use them, you have to get permission to use them.

Egypt is buying Russian jets because their f16 can’t lock on Israel or us jets
You are one of the smartest here.

What if it turns out that Adesina is corrupt and guilty as charged? Are Nigerians really going to sit down and vouch for anyone? I would not because as a Nigerian I know wetin dey ground grin grin grin grin. Let him just allow himself to be investigated. That's the only way to prove his innocence.
Why should you open this kind of post in the midst of a fight. Why are some people unwise?

we sell our souls. we sell afdb . now foreigners are everywhere dictating how afdb should be ran
The foreigners are shareholders. They are part owners of the bank. So they are within their right to demand accountability.

He should step aside for an independent probe. If clean, he would return. But he should only step aside after he gets the second term.

Am sure he is clean. The AfDB must stand together for him, provided he is clean.

See yourself. Simple "comprehension" is a problem. You were told that the man should be in retirement, yet you want him as your CDS.

Many people here don't read or can't comprehend. Sad

Its not interesting bro. We need to get serious. Africans are generally unserious, that is the reason we are taken for a ride.
I agree with you. Hope our leaders get the message and act on it.

This is bad news actually. So the Commissioner of police will stop taking orders from the governor of the state. Let me put it like this... So Abuja will appoint an Ahmed as Commissioner and send him to Enugu, and he won't take orders from the governor on matters of security but from Abuja.

Secondly a Governors in OYO will not have a say in recruitment of security personnel of his state, so lots of non indegines from the North can be sent to his state as security personnel instead of prioritizing those that reside in oyo or are indigenes of oyo state.

The reps from the southern part of the country are big idiots. We understand that they are afraid of giving Governors so much power but this is the time to make decisions that will trigger restructuring.

Governors should stop funding police in their state since the Police won't take orders from them. They should instead equip local vigilante with that resources. Let FG take the responsibility fully.
Stop writing nonsense. The President and the IG will not always be northerners. Power rotates. It comes from God alone.

I loved the idea, but when it has to do with France ,it's a no no. Ghana initially accepted the idea of having it hooked to Euro, but rejected it after doing a thorough review, their subtle rejection I think was because Nigeria openely rejected the terms that went with the single currency. It will be adopted soon but only by the French countries.
Relax I say wink

Case closed.

not in west Africa, the politics here isn't what you have in other sub region, all francophone WA, use a single currency, franc CFA, this is a means through which the French control their economy, you don't expect them to just drop it for the ECO.
Well, you are correct . But their citizens all want the Eco. But their leaders are scared of openly rejecting CFA. That is the problem. Inside them they want the Eco. So lets see how it goes.

it's not just dead In Anglophone west African countries, it's long buried, here in Nigeria the bones are gone. It's a French project.
Relax bro. France would try to derail it but in the end, African solidarity would prevail. Hopefully.

You accept guys who should be selling motor spare parts into the Army, what do you expect? A mine protected vehicle ran into a big IED and got destroyed only for the chickenshit trader as oldier to start crying and blaming his Chief of Stafflike a woman.
This guy deserves serious condemnation. Gens. Oladipo Diya and Abdukareem Adisa were not motor parts traders. So its a human thing, not an implicit tribal thing.

Please don't let that guy into your home. If you want to help him, do that from afar, don't let him get close to you. The fact that someone seeks forgiveness doesn't necessarily mean that they have changed. It's clear from the way he made that request that he's only putting up a façade.

He will destroy your home at any given opportunity. In case you don't know yet, the reason you had to go through those rough times in his home was for you to know who he truly is, you should have learnt your lesson by now. I'm not saying you shouldn't help him, my point is don't get close to him anymore to the point of cohabiting with him.
Don't mind the op. Some people are hopelessly naive, to even think of allowing a heartless friend into your house. This time, he would poison you.

The global media is not reporting on the NA recent successes in the NE.

Tomorrow, Chad would claim that they defeated Boko Haram. Nigerian army needs to make more videos of these successes and, the capture of Shekau must be fully recorded like Osama bin laden.

Preset guidance to hit moving targets in the sea
People no dey believe say some people dey wey know pass them. I myself have good knowledge of missile systems.

Moving target does not matter bro. It depends on the missile. That guy said repeatedly ''Fire & Forget missile''. Those are advanced missiles that have inbuilt radars. When they approach the preset vicinity, their inbuilt radar activates, tracks the newest position of the ship, and thrusts for impact just below the waterline.

Radars are different types and categories. Most anti-ship missiles have an ''approach tracking mechanism'' different from the original source that fired the missile. So, the original preset coordinates only takes it to the vicinity of the target, but the missile's tracking system locks on to the target's newest position for final impact.

Anti-ship missiles may use inbuilt radars and high explosive warhead; anti-aircraft missiles may use inbuilt radars and fragmentation warheads that explodes fragments around the plane to increases the chances of destroying the moving plane. Some missiles are heat seeking, radiation seeking, etc. That is, the missile's inbuilt systems use the heat or radiation from the target to track it.

So, moving targets don't matter. Missiles are not rockets. They are designed for moving targets; and they have inbuilt systems that finds a property of the moving target, locks on to it and follows it to impact. That is why missiles pursue fighter jets to hell. The pilot does all the manoeuvres, yet the missile is still following. That is because the inbuilt system has locked onto something from the jet- maybe exhaust heat, radiation, signals- anything. So your moving target at sea don't hold water. And forget this matter abeg.

Satisfy yourself that the guy @fineman87 know pass you. He was a top shop on Beegeagle's blog too. I know that.
