Well I support this silly governor's anti-grazing laws. Like moving cows from one place to another is very archaic, stone aged and outright barbaric. Is only in Nigeria you will see a cow competing with a motorist on a road, causing unnecessary traffic here and there, cows forming Dons on our highways. And it not like Nigeria is India anyway, were cows are worshipped and given a special status in the society. |
TippyTop:Fire for fire between you and who? Nigeria military or what? Can you stand a gun battle? |
TippyTop:Prepare to shed crocodile tears |
TippyTop:He didn't call for the meeting, rather the Niger Delta leaders called for a dialogue because they couldn't stand the smile of the crocodile anymore. The crocodile was very brutal. Can you see the king of gbamuturu kingdom in the picture? |
TippyTop:It will soon smile on you if you and your brothers don't desist from blowing up pipelines |
If they like they shouldn't convey the message of the president to their youths because nobody will listen to them when the crocodile start smiling on their asses |
989900D:Well what was forbidden by the holy prophet and condemned by the holy Quran is not welcome in any Islamic society. Don't deceive yourself young man. Muslims only abide by the Quran and the teachings of the holy prophet{hadith}. Anything from any third party is not a guideline for Muslims. |
Allah is great. He do and can undo. |
989900D:Your 'Saudi Arabian' writer is very silly. He didn't do his findings very well and yet he ignorantly went to twitter to share his deluded thoughts. There is no verse in the holy Quran that condemns alcohol intake? Like seriously dude? The Quran have been very clear about alcohol intake. Here is one verse that condemns alcohol consumption even though it didn't clearly state the punishment for it; “O you who believe! Intoxicants (all kinds of alcoholic drinks), gambling, idolatry, and divining arrows are an abomination of Satan’s handiwork. So avoid that so that you may be successful. Satan only wants to cause between you animosity and hatred through intoxicants and gambling and to avert you from the remembrance of Allah and from prayer. So will you not desist?” (Verses 90 and 91of Surat Surat Al-Ma’idah). And our holy prophet also said; " whatever intoxicates in large quantity, a small quantity of it is forbidden". So pray tell me, who is your Saudi writer when the Quran has frown against alcohol and the holy prophet {saw} has condemned it? Please don't argue over what you know nothing about |
Lol. Jegede be like;
|
Clueless CBN governor. I still don't know why buhari haven't fired his clueless ass. |
Proudlyngwa:This can only happen when the manufacturers of such alcoholic products stop doing it in 'Nigeria' |
gearcoin:There are something one shouldn't ignore especially when that thing is misleading. I wouldn't have commented here if they didn't bring the VAT issue up. The funny thing is most of them have zero idea about how proceeds are generated from alcoholic products, they don't know how it is shared but they still think they can deceive themselves with their ignorance. All the same I do appreciate your brotherly advice. |
ObikeNkem:The feeling is very mutual |
LastMumu:Are you drunk or what? Who is talking about any contribution to country's coffers here? Some people here wants everybody to believe that VAT from alcohol is only gotten from 'southern states', so the north shouldn't benefit from it since it's destroying alcoholic products. States in the north central and northeast don't practice sharia law, some Muslims out there still consume alcohol, even in kano state there are still many places that alcohol is consumed. And you must be very ignorant if you think government officials don't squeeze hajj pilgrims over payment of vat |
Proudlyngwa:Look at this hypocrite. Were you not the same people that were condemning Islamic banking in Nigeria? What were you calling it again? My friend tell me another 'tale by moonlight'. And don't you dare compare you nonexistent Jerusalem pilgrimage to that of hajj pilgrimage. We know the one that generates funds for the FG and we also know the one that don't generate anything. |
yomalex:Even though kano state is destroying this alcoholic products because it practices sharia law, southern states are still not the only states that consume alcohol in Nigeria. There are many Muslims out there that still consumed alcohol even though is against the tenets of Islam. Nigeria still have the highest numbers of pilgrims to Makkah in sub Saharan Africa, and the northern states contributes most of these pilgrims. Proceeds are made from these pilgrims and at the end of the day, everything goes into the federation account. And I haven't seen any northern state that is making a fuss about this even though the proceedings are 'shared' by every state |
IamOdin:Thank God you said you don't 'think'. Now this is a good thing. So please go back and see the people crying to high heavens when jaiz bank was to be launched in Nigeria. You are the one that doesn't know how taxation works since you ignorantly believed that any proceeds that is generated from alcoholic products should only be shared by 'alcoholic consuming states'. |
Proudlyngwa:What do you mean by sharing from the alcohol generated vat? Are 'southern states' the only states in Nigeria that consumes alcoholic products? And how did you even know how this 'alcohol generated vat' are shared between states? So should other northern states start protesting about the VAT being made from hajj pilgrims, which is been equally 'shared' with the southern states? What about the vat that is been generated from Islamic products that usually enters the country on a daily basis while some are made here in Nigeria, Since in your myopic mind you think alcohol intake is the sole right of only 'southern states' and any proceeds generated from there should be shared by only southern states. You guys are just funny. |
yomalex:So jaiz bank is the only Islamic institution you know of in Nigeria? I bet you have never heard something like lotus. I don't know why you guys are acting as if 'southern states' are the only states that consume alcohol in Nigeria. Benue, kogi, taraba, plateau, nassarawa etc are also states in Nigeria. And the last time I checked, these states don't have sharia laws in their respective states. Anyway your silly alcohol VAT is ridiculous, because there are still many Muslims out there that consume alcohol even though Islam frowns at it. Like I have stated earlier, most of you here are ignorant and arguing with you will always be a waste of time. |
Proudlyngwa:Proceeds of the sale of beer? Do you even have any idea how VAT is generated from the sell of alcohol? Most of you are just good in yapping nonsense even when you don't have the slightest idea about what you are saying. There is absolutely no society that is free from bad eggs. People abused drugs doesn't necessarily mean it is a good thing. Of course when you are caught abusing drugs, the state anti- drugs institutions deal with such person. You think taking alcohol is good doesn't necessarily mean kano people love it. Stay on your lane and mind your business. Nobody in kano will raise any shoulder if the people in your state choose to sleep in alcohol. |
yomalex:And you are also sharing vat from ja'iz bank and other Islamic institutions in the country. Anyway most of you here are ignorant and dummies. How is 'the other states' paying VAT for a product they didn't produced/manufactured? |
Yeah good. Islam strongly frown at alcohol intake, besides kano is a sharia practicing state. We don't need all that nonsense in our state. |
Lately I Have been hearing about this MMM, but to be honest, I have no idea about what the thing stands for. Is it a betting game or what? I'm kind of curious though |
The thing is mimiko wasn't calculative. He thought he can have his ways with modu-sheriff. If mimiko was smart, he would have decamped to AD a long time ago when he clearly saw the handwriting on the wall. There is no doubt that Mr jegede is a very popular figure among the ondolites, he is loved by many despite the fact that his principal has failed woefully as the governor of ondo state. But is so 'unfortunate' that a charismatic person like jegede will never smell ondo governorship seat, rather Mr Akeredolu will. Mr oke of AD would have given APC a run for their money, but unfortunately he and his party don't have the necessary funds to win in an election. Winning elections in Africa especially in Nigeria have always been about money, money, money. APC will emerge victorious in the ondo election. This am very sure of. All the odds are favoring them. |
APC will mercilessly beat PDP in ondo state, this am very sure of. Tinubu in his overbearing world thinks the APC won't clinch ondo state without his input, but he will be surprised.. |

Yeah that's why is called politics. You have to be smart, you have to be sagacious, you have to be brutal in a good way. Mimiko is still a learner. |
ZKOSOSO:If you like, cry Atlantic ocean and pacific ocean combined, those criminals and looters will never be released until they cooperate fully with the anti-corruption agency. Silly blacmails won't help any of them. And the last time I checked, some northerners are also detained/investigated by EFCC. So your silly divisive cry won't do you or anybody any good. |
Unfortunately his prayers won't get them released by the anti-corruption body, rather returning what they stole will do that. Rev. Kuka should also pray vehemently for the child in a grown man's body{fani kayode}, the 'man' needs so much prayers |
