Unfortunately, you seem to be one of many Nigerians that lack intelligence, lack analytical mind, easily gullible, prefer superficial solutions to every problem we face in this country.

What has the government done about the root of all these problems?
Why has the Federal Government refused till date to allow state police?
Yet, people like you will blame it on the people, on the governor to satisfy your understanding.

If you don't see Finecat post as hate filled thrash, then you have a problem.
You are a victim of your imagination. I love all Nigerians but when an incident is peculier to a particular section of the the country, we need to address it. These kidnapping thing continues in East despite all the outcries. You are defending something indefensible

Some of what you saying even though some of it may sound tribalistic is the absolute truth. Igbos are mostly talk, and some on Niaraland are just Internet warriors.

Why must the youth or people Aba wait for the Government for everything, Pic up your darn matched and match the freaking streets burn as many government cars or building you see and let your voices be heard, then you'll see troops.
So you are advocating violence? I have a friend that works for Irving Police Department and i will show him your post. Yeye Boy. But seriously though, these kidappers have family members and their family members know the right thing to do is to contact the authorities but i guess the if the family is upright, their won't be a kidnapper amongst them to begin with. I'm just so sick of Nigerians (Ibo especially) doing all sorts of illegalities to make a buck.

Abeg, this thread is already several pages long, because most fools went elsewhere. We don't need people injecting this sort of tribalistic foolishness.
Kids and innocent folks are being kidnapped all over the Eastern part of Nigerian and you called that triballistic? You guys are out of touch with reality. You need to call Ojukwu, Onwuka, Chukwuemeka and call a family meeting to discuss your boys' behaviors. Soon another US states department warning will come out warning travellers of Kidnapping in Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Kidnappers Hijack A School Bus Of 15 Pupils In Aba by Finecat(m): 11:21pm On Sep 28, 2010
I saw this sick news on CNN. Ibo boys has found another method to destroy the image of Nigeria. Who makes a career out of Kidnapping? If not some deranged money-worshipping ibo boys. Their world-wide fraudulent ways is not enough, they have added kidnapping to their resume.

It has become a habit for some to come and insult the Igbos. You can continue, your attitude helps to mould the mind of the young Igbo generation.

A time will come, I promise, it won't be long, when this built up emotion within these young Igbos will be unleashed. It will never be like something ever seen before, call it devastating, call it evil, but only if you lived to recall how it all began.

This is a prophecy!
Instead of you to call a family meeting to discuss your people's behavior, you are here on Nairaland hyperventiliating like a lost puppy. What would you guys do ?? Your fore-fathers tried that with Biafra, Baba Awolowo dealt with them. This time there will be no mercy, it will be enough reasons to make you guys pay for destroying the image of Nigeria both abroad and home. Why would anybody think of kidnapping kids to make money? I don't see anybody that would do that other than some money-hungry idiots who will sell their own mother for a buck.
PoliticsRe: Gej Should Declare A State Of Emergency In Abia State (aba): by Finecat(m): 10:55pm On Sep 28, 2010
I am absolutely convinced that slavery began in Ibo land. What won't Ibo boys do for money? Who would have thought that anybody can make a career out of Kidnapping ? Ask Ibo Boys. The whole damn east is full of Money-worshipping fools. Even the Ibos in America and Europe are scared of returning home. Why Kidnap kids for Christ sake?

I just feel like crying whenever Nigerians make negative headlines.
Mine is worse than that, i feel like going over to where the Nigerian suspect is and beat the daylight out of him. It's sad that when these goats commit their crime, they are only thinking of their own crooked benefit and when they get caught, if fcuks us all.

naijaking1:
If you call this petition to AGF a media war, what do you call Sanusi's year long roadshows, interviews, accusations, and summary call for execution of the innocent without trial angry
I beg, let's not turn reason upside down. All of a sudden, unearthing the truth has become a waste of taxpayers' money?
Tell me you don't mean it, please.
This guy is a victim of his imaginations. @Naijamaking, please stop hyperventilating the Akingbola guy is an extreme crook. His bank, Intercontinental has been in trouble atleast one year before Sanusi striked. Sanusi did this bank a favor and that's why the bank is still open and the workers still has jobs. If Intercontinental bank was in Europe or the USA the regulators would have closed it down. If you see their latest performance report, you would see that the bank is far from healthy. It is too late for Akingbola to be crying foul while he sat on all the information he had before he was sacked. Intercontinental bank had been having problems since atleast December 2008, does anybody remember March or april 2009 when you couldn't withdraw money from none of their branches nationwide. Erastus was claiming computer error then while the people that knew what's up knew the bank was out of money and waiting to be bailed out by the CBN under Soludo. Erastus needs to shut his pie-hole.

Nwosu, Nwota, Nnwoka, Ngochukwu, Nwoga, Uguoma, Ugochi, Nnamani. The whole damn Eastern Part of Nigeria is filled with Kidnappers. Even the Igbos in America said that they are not going home for visit or business 'cause they are scared they may be kidnapped. And that's a lot! If an Igbo man says he's afraid of some place for business or an Opportunity to eat Isi Ewu. How on earth do you kidnapp your own kind to make money?? The only ones that we knew that did it were the Middle eastern terrorists against the Americans. I tire for Igbo boys.

CrimeRe: US Police Cracks Nigerian-mexician Drug Cartel Link by Finecat(m): 7:08pm On Sep 22, 2010
I'm not trying to be tribalistic here or nothing but the Ibo boys spoil the image of Nigeria more than any other tribe. Down in th south and in the NY area, Ibo boys are always getting busted for all sorts of fraud. This is not to say that other tribe doesn't commit fraud but the ration of the Ibo boys are too much. They want money at all cost. If anybody is in doubt go to Youtube.com and type the word "How to catch a con man" by Chris Hansen of NBC. It's Ibo boys.
PoliticsRe: Akingbola Petitions Agf Over N41bn Fraud At Intercontinental ! by Finecat(m): 12:09pm On Sep 22, 2010
Erastus needs to Shut up. He ran out of the Country because he knew Intercontinental bank was dead due to Corruptions and failed policies. If he knew all this last year how come he didnt stay behind and fight it out. This is the same man buying houses for girlfriends (Married woman) all over Lagos. I'm not Saying that Sanusi is a saint but he alteast let the public knew the true state of the bank. This is the same Akingbola that was lobbying for the Kwara's state account into Intercontinental in 2009, he knew his bank was in trouble and the only way he can rescue it was by using the politicians. He went to Kwara, Kano, Kaduna, Akwa Ibom, Lagos Governors looking for these states accounts to be deposited into Intercontinental shortly before Sanusi sacked him. The attrocities that Akingbola left at Intercontinental is huge. The bank is barely breathing and saddled with huge loans. Talk to their staff and you would see frustrations. A bank where members of staff are begging to burrow N500 from each other till payday.

Kobojunkie:
Is Daddy G.O not a human being? The very Bible tells Christians to watch out and test all these preachers and what they do. So, I can't even imagine an excuse for her action. That is a problem though. The Bible which is the word in Christianity URGES people not to do such things, so again, Funmi CHOOSING not to have a brain is Funmi's fault and so I still feel to ask why Funmi ought not to be blamed in all this. She ought to be held partly responsible for what happened in my opinion.
Being a human being is not the issue here. I'm sure you can read and if not get someone to read the article to you. The girl said the pastor has been praying for her family members for years and she trusted him. She has developed trust in this pastor for years and how would she know he would raped her. I'm surprise you are a lady and can only hope someone violate you in a way you never expected. Many studies has shown that most women get raped by people who they trust. It is sad that some Butt-breath can come here defending the Pastor.

Like these f00ls just appointed has some Magic to perform. Same 'ol useless generation of skunk. Kalo Kalo Govt. ruling Kalo Kalo Nation. I bet these new @sswipes has begun plotting out to loot the budget in their repsective division. A lost Nation, i've lost hope in that nation. Only God can bring another Idiagbon to clean up the mess called Nigeria. The day Igbo man rule Nigeria, it's the day Nigeria is finished. Look at Igbo states? When ibo man, he brings his mother with him look at Kalu for example.

@OP

You dont need to say more, you have analyzed the reason you gave the guy the money. Even though i fault you for being so naive, i would not take response of these Nairaland serious at all. They are Nigerians, they tend to be on the side of fraudsters, they all have corruption as a DNA running thru their veins. Take this case to the so-called EFCC. But i hope you have learned your lessons, never burrow a man (especially a Nigerian) them money you can NOT forgive.

Intercontinental Bank staff with the spate at which your staff are resigning for masters, other banks and other companies would you say you guys are short staffed? and minus some selected disengaged staff being called back (re-employed) to inspections etc are there any plans for new inatkes; experience or fresh?
Intrecontinental bank is as dead as smoked fish. Their staff has turned to beggars, see as one they ask by brother for N500 last week.

Can we all see why Nigeria is what it is today? These are the so-called front-line lawyers and the so-called educators of Nigeria fighting over traditional titles. This man has travelled world wide and yet his eyes are still blind to civillizations. It is really a shame.
PoliticsRe: Akala Is Planning To Assassinate Me - Adesina by Finecat(m): 10:24pm On Jul 19, 2010
By the grace of God, Alaafin will be removed and disgraced out of the palace by the next governor of Oyo state. He does not deserve to sit on that throne, Alaafin is destroying the legacy of his fore-fathers. He only play with whatever side he earn money or favor from. Eventhough i'm from Oyo town, Olubadan is a more classy Oba than alaafin could ever be.
PoliticsRe: The Trouble With The Yoruba by Finecat(m): 1:04pm On Jul 17, 2010
The trouble with Yorubas are the Obas except Olubadan. Obas like Alaafin of Oyo is a cancer to his people, they become slaves to the government officials because they want money and favors. Alaafin of Oyo has no principles at all and he is a shame to the throne he sits on. The only time Yoruba elders think is when they can benefit from their people, they never think of how they can help the people, Yorubaland has thugs and vagabonds as their governors. Look around the SW, the only presentable Governor is Fashola. Akala and the rest of them are plain idiots that has no business running the affairs of goats not to talk of human beings. Which serious investor will invest in a state after taking a look at a Governor like Akala or Oyinlola? Just listening to what comes out of their mouths alone is enough to make any investor run for their lives or hard earned money.
PoliticsAkala Was Plotting To Kill Alaafin Of Oyo. Investigations. by Finecat(op): 10:50pm On Jul 16, 2010
How i wish Akala could have succeded and how wish he could have got caught for it. It could have been a very good day for the people of Oyo. Double good riddance to bad nonsense. As a native of Oyo town and from royal lineage, i can say that Alaafin is no better than Akala may be even worse. This Alaafin does not deserve the throne he sits on. This is the same Alaafin that used Akala to install his son as the Chaiman of Atiba LG in Oyo. Alaafin's son was all over the media last year calling Akala "A God-sent" for the people of Oyo, can you imagine? Alaafin is an Opportunist and he attempts to destroy anybody that does not dance to his tunes. He has fought every prominent and succesfull Oyo indigenes because of his greed. Goodluck next time Akala on your next attempt and i hope that as soon as you succeed, the police or efcc will pick you right up.
PoliticsRe: Bleaching Association Of Nigeria Calling! by Finecat(m): 10:41pm On Jul 16, 2010
KnowAll:
A proper investigation into the plot to kill the Alaafin of Oyo, if and only if the investigators can do a thorough job, don't be suprise it would have the hallmark bleaching hands of Messers Akala written all over it, this man is guilty as charge and should be apprehended without much ado. It is unfathomable to think a Monarch of the status of the Alaafin would stoop so low as to accuse a Governor of this misdeed.

The Governor surly needs the Alaafin to garner support for him in Oyo Town, the Alaafin on the other hand does not need the Governor because in his time he has seen many governors come and go.

Alaafin and Akala are both idiots at equal level. I have no sympathy for Alaafin whatsoever, he is as equally wicked as Akala and does not deserve the throne he sits on. I am from Oyo Town and i know the Royal family very well. This Alaafin is an oppotunist and he only plays to whereever he can get money or favors. He is always at loggerheads with the indigenes of Oyo who has made it or become famous, the list is long. Akala was instrumental to Alaafin's son (Akeem) to becoming the Chairman of Atiba LG. Just last year, Akeem was all over the media praising and kissing Akala's butt and saying "Akala was a God-sent" to Oyo state and Akala "was the best Governor Oyo ever had" So what happened now? Sources claims that Alaafin only got mad when Akala refuse to make nominate Alaafin's son (Akeem) as the next Deputy Gov. of Oyo State in 2011. Alaafin is the worst thing to ever happened to Oyo State and his fore-fathers will never forgive him. If i find the Alaafin's son interview praising Akala last year i will post it here. The only regret i have is that Akala's plot on Alaafin wasn't succesful and that Akala will not have a chance to get caught for it. It could have been a 2 sweet riddance to bad nonsense.
