NA alone stands above 130k. And if you want to have a 500k strong army, you have to be a BIG spender on your Military like Egypt. Even NA is still contending with having BPVs for all its men/women. Nigeria doesn't spend on her military atall. During GEJ tenure, He borrowed $1bn to arm the military but Nigerian were shouting on what the Army wants to use it for.
If you want a robust Army, you must have a yearly budget of atleast $7bn allocated to them.
Go and ask how much billions of dollars Egypt is spending to keep its hardwares and over 500k soldiers in order, then you will understand what financing a big military portray.

Why are you so insensitive? The President said he will end it in two months and not "start it in two months". So people should continue to die till after two months when he "wave the magic wand"? Beside, the President was sworn-in on May 29. Today marks his eighth day in office.

This amnesty programme is another scam like it's partner - subsidy. It was designed to help those who decided to carry guns against the nigerian state. What about those of us that decided to equip ourselves with books? Why are we left out? Why are graduates of niger delta strugglinq to earn a livinq? These are questions that quickly comes to mind of any sane individual. Before I continue, let me quickly say I am from niger delta & I can say that this amnesty programme is selective and the beneficiaries are in nigeria squandering the money instead of beinq in dubai, s.africa etc learning their whatever God knows. I said it's selective, yea it is. You know why? How can you explain the fact that only persons from ijaw extraction are being paid when we know they aren't only the militants? That office of the amnesty needs to be probed, if you ask me. Buhari must man-up & step-up his game to deal with this else, it will be the mole in his govt. You know what? That is not all…… how do the govt even know those that are even "militants" ? What measures do the govt have in place to checkmate the beneficiaries? A thorough analysis of the programme will reveal that many of the beneficiaries never held a gun at any time…… they are being paid because they were shortlisted by their friends, family or anybody (it's not hard to be shortlisted once u are an ijaw or related by blood). It is even more interesting to know that those who really carried the guns never accepted this lie - amnesty (though not all). The amnesty is a two-edged sword that cannot be stopped without a fight and it must be stopped now!

The Daura President should know that Development of Infrastructures in the Niger Delta should begin from Today. Any attempt to take away the stipends paid the jobless youths of Niger Delta occassioned by decades of the misrule of the Kaduna Mafioso will be resisted. The Niger Deltans feed this nation and naturally deserve more Federal welfare.

All Oil Companies should be made to relocate their Administrative and operational offices to the States of Niger Delta so they can pay their taxes to those States instead of Paying to Lagos.

Niger Deltans MUST first be given priority in jobs in the Oil sector.

Gas flaring and oil leakages MUST be stopped.

When a people are pushed to the wall, they will react. Niger Deltans do not naturally need your stipends called Amnesty welfare, but it was a child of necessity for their Gods-given wealth that all Nigerian states continue to enjoy and share every 4 weeks.

The Daura President MUST know, that he is NOW the President of Nigeria and NOT President of APC.

This is not an issue of derailing. This is the issue of rule of law. Buhari isn't a demi-god. If he's disqualified and Osinbajo takes over, that doesn't mean the democratic process has been scuttled. The last time I checked, Buhari's name isn't democracy.

If a Benue House of Rep Elect could be tried in court and disqualified why can't Buhari be tried too?

Please let's be matured and stop over heating the polity. The era of do-or-die politics is over.
