Omo! Seems Mobil 2000 5w30 is scarce now.
Is it advisable to use Mobil 1 5w30 for my 2008 Civic?
Can I switch from Mobil 1 5w30 to Mobil 2000 5w30 in future? |

lovetterrison: haba thought the parts are same as normal Honda civic o Nope. I used 2 models of the car, the 2006 EX and 2008. I can categorically tell you that the front control arm, shocks, inner fuse box are all different from the normal Civic. The inner fuse box of a normal might work but not all accessories will pick. |

OP you can use this! KazikageSama: This is Nigeria, there are NO useless courses (absolutely none). Just make sure you get the best grades (1st class or 2:1). Choose any course where you can make your best grade.
Someone that studied language and graduated with 1st class stands a better chance of getting a good job at a corporate organization job than someone who studied Accounting and graduated with a 2:2.
Your course is mostly insignificant in Naija (except for specialized professionals like Medicine, law e.t.c.) but your grade is VERY important. |

kingreign: Replace that leaking pipe before you cry over heating cries. Thank you Kingreign. Also I'm confused on engine oil to use, this is because when the car arrived Nigeria October last year, it was serviced in Lagos before delivery. It's almost due for service now @30% & 4k+km since last serviced. I know the recommended oil is SAE5w20 but I don't know whether it's the recommended oil that was used in servicing the car. I reached the mechanics that service it but they don't seem to remember. This is where my fear is: if the vehicle was serviced with maybe 5w30 and I now use 5w20 will it give me issues. Same Honda Civic 08 and is in perfect condition. Thanks. Cc: radautoworks Gazzuzz HeavenlyBang kingreign Nurey Luvinhubby |

Good morning car gurus....
I notice this (picd below) this morning while carrying my routine checks. Is it something I should be worried about?
I ran the engine for some seconds to warm it and the place becomes dry.
Tap it with a tissue and I saw blue color.
Honda Civic 08

ksmart027: Thanks bro, what about mechanical parts like hub, brake pad, are the same with the asia or america spec? Did you buy yours toks or naija used? is yours manual too? Sorry for the questions. Most of the mechanical parts are not the same with Asia/America Civics. Only front brake pads is same with other Civics. I bought a Naija used, converted from Auto-Manual to Automatic transmission. |

nurey: European version was just made sporty to make it more appealing. Also depends on what engine is available in the European version you talking about Good morning @ksmart07, foolbuster, nurey, heavenlybang & other cargurus who contributed to my earlier post. It's almost 2 weeks now since I purchased the 9ja used Civic European version & I must say I'm impress with the following: ✓ Clean engine, no leakage & has never be loose - (breathing out steam & dropping water) ✓ Clean interior and exterior ✓ Design is beyond what I see on internet √ HP is awesome - the car d move Wella √ Fuel economy - beyond my expectations too (1.8l engine) Sorry guys I ain't a good writer but seriously I'm glad I own this baby. For body parts, I don't know about the availability in Nigeria for now. I will just handle the car with care for now. PS: I didn't check the car myself, I paid someone to do it. Thanks cargurus. |
