I have been experiencing series of disappointment and set backs all my life which has made me worry a lot about not being able to amount to anything in this life so I made up my mind to find out why I cannot get anything to work out for me.

I don't fancy babalawo shrines so I asked around and I was directed to some spiritual houses for prayer. On every place I visit, they always tell me that I don't have light in my path sort of.

The last one that I visited was a well known prophet in the holy Sabbath denomination. And I was expressly told that my IKENGA is weak. Ikenga in Igbo signifies the right-hand and the ability to make wealth. That I am weak and incapable of making wealth. Although he told me that I need to be worked on (i.e get spiritual items for prayers)I was also told what to do like being more helpful to other people and not to be tight fisted to the less privileged.

I have reasoned within my self wether to believe them or not but I can't pretend that things have been working out for me because its a lie which makes me inclined to believing them.

I always try to be of significance in my area of influence i.e wherever I find myself, I try to give my very best to improve myself and that of my environment. I traveled to Lagos 2018 to look for a job and I couldn't land a meaningful position in any reputable organization until I applied and got a role in an ICT training center in Ajegunle with very meagre pay.

In no time I rose to the post of manager in the small organization though things changed a little bit but it was not enough to even rent a room talk more of buying any luxury. Worst still, the fuel hike and the irresponsible economic policies of the government thwarted any progress I made even when I began teaching job in a private secondary school nearby to add to my income. With the stress and the difficulties I faced back then and because of my ailing mother, I had to quit all and returned home to the East.

Back here in the East I convinced my dad to sell a piece of our family's land to enable me start up something instead of wasting my time looking for a job. He did just that and immediately my mum's sickness got worse and we spent all the money on her treatment.

This things made me to start reasoning along the lines of being in bad fate.

I am afraid to think that what they spiritual people are saying if it is true.

And should I believe them?

This is how most Nigerian guys attract generational curses upon their life and their unborn children and tomorrow he and his family will be running from one Church, Prophet, White Garment Church, Juju house and ifa Priests looking for solution and they won't remember foolish things like this they did out of youthful exuberance and guyman acts.




If this story is true, this guy is already under a serious curse but he won't know until after some years.



Life is mysterious oh, be mindful of how you offend people, especially poor, vulnerable people in need.
