I think the lawyer is right the president doesn't have the right to alter by himself what its set down and backed by the constitution. If something is going to be done it has to be done in the right way observing the protocols. But am not just for the 50% salary cut but also for a reasonable allowance cut, which will make it effective. |

brytandre: My guy, that's simple quadratic equation na.
(10+10)(10-10)= 10(10+10)-10(10+10)
= 10^2+10^2-10^2-10^2
At this point he took out the two middle terms only (I.e 10^2-10^2) by subtracting them
= 10^2 - 10^2
.
So it is correct! And 10^2 - 10^2 equals 0 |
Education › Re: Photo: See How A Mathematician Proved 0 Divided By 0 Equals 2 by fio(m): 7:39pm On May 10, 2015 |
wonda26: 10^2 - 10^2 = (10 + 10)(10-10) is very correct.
In mathematics, it is called 'Difference of two squares'
If you doubt, try simplifying the right hand side of the equation Not possible. You have to use math rule of BODMAS. And when you do that. Then; (10+10)(10-10) never equals 10^2-10^2. |

I think your forth point is the main point. I am less concerned about the number of years as the quality of education; its not how far but how well. Most graduate cannot connect school material with reality not to talk of its application, I think that's the reason behind the "graduate training" . Then why spend so many years in school when you have such program, which seems to be the main thing here; its application. |

She said I don't know but I know that my dad is 5 Years older than my mother.

She said I don't know but I know that if we add our ages the answer is 100 yrs...
Now how old is the girl, her mum, & her dad?

Gemc3: Abeg this one hard o. As you ask me, na imm i run go ask google. Apparently, there are a lot of possible answers:
Answer:
The letter H can be formed using 3 matchsticks, The letter O with 4 matchsticks, The letter T with 2 matchsticks, The letter E with 4 matchsticks and The letter L with 2 matchsticks
So total of 15 matchsticks are used.
This would remain true for all the possible answers.
Possible Answer 1:
She removes the horizontal matchstick from H so that it becomes 1 1.
Which will make it look like 110 TEL.
So it could be that she will call (telephone him at 11 0 Clock) or she will tell him the reason at 11 O clock.
Possible Answer 2:
She removes the horizontal matchstick from T so that it becomes l.
The boy reads it upside down so it can be 7310H…..Probably to say that she was there but was in room no. 7310 in the hotel.
Or she was there at 7:31 (May be later than the decided time)
Possible Answer No. 3
Below are other answers i know is not the answer to this particular riddle since we were asked to remove one stick ONLY and nothing else.
Now this 2 cases go with the riddle, if we are allowed to rearrange the letters and maintain the number of matchsticks as 15, there’s one more possibility.
The girl removed one matchstick from the letter O and rearranged the three matchsticks into letter A which makes the word HOTEL into HATEL.
Then the girl put the matchstick into the letter L to form the letter U which transformed HATEL into HATEU or HATE U which is the precise answer of the girl to the boy.
Possible Answer No. 4
She rearranges the horizontal matchstick to diagonal to make it look like N.
Which would make it “NOTEL”
So probably her parents said NO (No-Tell) Please be realistic with ur logic |

Very interesting. Ladies and gentlemenam a specialist in this field so step back.
firstly, the way the question emphazised on the number of match sticks ( it can be counted in the picture) reveals that "15" could mean something and afterall "hotel" can be written with as many match sticks as possible. It could mean time 3.00pm(preferably) or date. Now, time of what? Time of meeting (preferably) or time he came home( not important). secondly, when u remove a matchstick THEN IT STOPS BEING "HOTEL" and it "14"(2.00pm) marchsticks.
so from the logic above, we can deduce that the conversation goes like this. guy; I was expecting you @hotel @3.00pm. girl;I couldn't make to the hotel because I went somewhere at 2.00pm.
this got me thinking for minutes . but I love this next!! |
