bvibesblogger:
Barely a week after conceding to defeat to the opposition party in the March 28 presidential elections, the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Adamu Mu’azu has redesigned and schemed out the 24 states it will secure victory in Saturday’s, April 11, 2015 governorship elections.

Mu’azu, in a statement on Saturday urged the party’s governorship candidates to make sure the party wins in at least 24 states.

The PDP Chairman listed the states to be cleared by the PDP to comprise, Lagos, Imo and Rivers States, in addition to the 21 states currently controlled by the PDP namely: Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Akwa Ibom, Abia, Ebonyi, Enugu, Adamawa, Taraba, Bauchi, Gombe, Benue, Plateau, Niger, Kogi, Jigawa, Katsina, Kebbi, Kaduna, Ekiti and Ondo.

Mu’azu, who described PDP’s candidates as “first class materials”, pointed out that the victory of PDP candidates at the elections would return the party to its winning ways.

“I urge the PDP faithful to pick up the pieces and ensure that we return quickly to our old winning ways. There should be no room for voter apathy that was a major factor to our losing the presidential election. While our opponents were savouring their famous victory, we should out flank them and corner at least two thirds of the states of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. This is not an impossible target if we return to our elements with immediate effect. We have done it before and we can do it again. Nothing will be sweeter than PDP taking Lagos, our own Rivers State and Imo. Our candidates in these states are first class material who have fully penetrated the political structures of those states and are set to win,” he said.

“The reason is simple. Our party is used to bouncing back whenever we experience a setback. The key to winning the remaining election is heavy turnout and voting the PDP all the way. There should be no tactical voting. Be consistent in your support for the party. What we experienced in the presidential election is merely a hiccup which we must cast out in the gubernatorial polls. All PDP supporters must remember their pedigree, our track record and history of the party and the source of our electoral feats of the last sixteen years. We are the reason that democracy has taken root in Nigeria since 1999. This is something every member of our great party should be very proud of. We have only lost a battle but the war to bring our country to the highest level of democratic governance is still to be won or lost,” Mu’azu said.

You GEJ fans are simply incorrigible bitter losers. What has this got to do with Buhari? GEJ encouraged lawlessness, rumour-mongering and slander everywhere. I expect Nigerians will see disciplined and dignified behaviour restored everywhere under Buhari. All this nonsense is the typification of what GEJ stands for so please do not associate Buhari's 'change' with this idiocy.

Also, go and check the archives to see the classy conduct of us APC fans in 2011 when GEJ was declared winner of the election. We wished him success and gave him the benefit of the doubt because the progress of Nigeria is all that matters to us. Contrast this to how you bitter and spiteful supporters have being going around looking for negatives to say and faults to find with a President-elect who has not even being sworn in when you should be wishing him well for Nigeria's sake. This confirms what I have always said that most of GEJ's fans are not decent and good people who value the progress of Nigeria above everything else as APC supporters do.

It has been amusing to note that only SeverusSnapes and Eurobomber have behaved in a classy way and wished the incoming government well while the rest of you are bitter and negative elements openly wishing the APC fails as if this failure will not affect you also. In short, you guys are not good human-beings. You are all warped self-centred, unpatriotic and egotistic elements not interested in Nigeria's development. See a typical post below from me in 2010 where I gave GEJ the benefit of the doubt and support to deliver a good cabinet that could transform Nigeria. You guys should get behind Buhari and stop your off-putting pettiness. Is it Nigeria you love or is it GEJ? If Nigeria why finding it hard to get behind the President elect and give him the benefit of the doubt as we did for GEJ?

WAJW:
Even as the president gets ready for his final trip to Otuoke, the last trip that would have his presidential conveyance give him the final salute then turn away to serve another commander-in-chief, retrospective observations are in order.

Will the president be getting a hero's welcome in Otuoke? Dele Sobowale says no. For the people of Otuoke, Jonathan's return would be deemed premature, as it is an unhappy turn of events that has dictated his return in 2015 - four years early.

However, home is home, and when we are done with our worldly dealings, we must return home, and home - as is characteristic of it - must accept us in, irrespective of its misgivings.

Dele Sobowale describes the incumbent as a 'political undertaker,' one determined to go down with as many people from his party as possible.

He [Jonathan] has been quoted as saying, in 2011: "You have given me your assurances of support but some of you are secretly campaigning for Atiku Abubakar. I can’t stand to be humiliated by you. I am the Captain of this boat. I am not going down alone. I am going to sink this boat and go down with all that are in it." He reportedly said this in 2011, at the 55th National Executive Committee Meeting of the PDP. (Quote cited from: http://saharareporters.com/2010/12/20/pdp-primaries-atiku-jonathan’s-politics-smear)

In 2015, he makes good his promise. President Jonathan will not go down alone. "Afenifere is now in the graveyard for sure; so is OPC… Niger Delta Militants, as well as their “god-father”, Chief Edwin Clark, have a new battle on their hands," writes Sobowale.

I was rushing to my school bus stand to enter the bus before it fills up,then suddenly i hit my left leg against a stone,i now made the sign of the cross and continued my journey, then this girl walked up to me,and asked why i was making the sign of the cross,i replied her "the bible says we should pray at all time".she just laughed and we parted ways....

A week later,i went to buy petrol at the station in my street,i had my earpiece stuffed in my ears, enjoying my highlife by osadebe,....i got to the station, bought the fuel, then on my return journey, someone tapped me and said.."oboy person d call u",when i turned,lo and behold,it was same gal i had met in school,i crossed to the other side of the road to meet her,i didn't know she was the one until she helped me recall....she was with plenty bags, and i inquired what she was doing with all those bags, she said she's just returning from Ph,that she saw me when i passed, and called me but i didnt answer her... I apologized, and asked her if she had any goody for me ,she said i should follow her to her house if i needed one....i declined because i was rushing home to watch UEFA match, and told her i'd come for it another day, after which i collected her number and rushed off.......

On friday that week,i went for a friend's birthday party, and slept over, when i was coming back on saturday evening,i met this same girl on the road, and she said i've been reluctant about coming to visit her, that i must follow her to her lodge that nite,i agreed, when we got to her house,it was a self con room, nice,i loved the paintings on her wall,i was admiring the room, while she was packing her cloths she washed earlier inside, after that, the next thing, she started undressing herself, leaving only her panties and bra on,after which she used her towel to cover herself before entering the bathroom, all this while,i just kept my cool, pressing my fone....she finally came out of the bathroom, and layed down on her bed with only her towel,we talked a few more minutes, before i told her that i'd love to take my leave now....when i got home, she sent me a whatsapp message saying i didn't ask her to offer me anything....

I need your opinions here, was she sending me GREEN LIGHT or was it normalhuh?

So much have been said so far by people from different works of life/ shades of opinion about the suitability of the candidature of Sen saraki as the next president of the Nigerian Senate.I must start,by saying that saraki is perhaps one of the most finest and most eloquent senator in the out going 7th national assembly. For the sake of the continuous peaceful coexistence of all the ethnic group in Nigeria, i believe(even though its my personal opinion), that he should not be considered for that exalted position. Saraki, may be from north central geo political zone, but that does not dispute the fact that he is a YORUBA MAN.It will not be fair to other major tribes in nigeria for both the no 2 and 3 positions to be occupied by Yoruba. I don't have any thing personal against the Yoruba race, because, my mother is Yoruba. I am writing from the point of view of someone who believes in an all inclusive federal republic of Nigeria.
Your point of observation would not be tenable. Please, argue from the point of Corruption. Bukola Saraki is a criminal who have stolen all the common wealth in his state. If Bukola becomes the Senate President, Fraud and corruption has taken a new dimension in Nigeria.

Politics › Re: Obasanjo Presents Soludo As Finance Minister, Tinubu Kicks by Firefire(m):
Already, Tinubu, according to a highly placed source, had reached an agreement with General Mohammadu Buhari prior to the APC presidential primaries – concerning the appointment of ministerial positions.

The source reveal that Tinubu extracted an agreement from Buhari – which Buhari appended his signature on as preconditions to his participation in the APC primaries – of appointing nine [9] ministerial positions to the Buhari administration.

The nine ministration slots are said to be the nine ‘juiciest’ ministerial slots – including that of Petroleum, Finance, Works, FCT, Interior
.

It is to this end that the Tinubu camp frowns at the presentation of Soludo as a finance minister – to occupy one of the supposed slots reserved for Tinubu.

All these noise about GEJ being a hero because he conceded defeat stinks of hypocrisy and self deception. GEJ has failed Nigeria and Nigerians. He was on the verge of leading Nigeria to total destruction and he had to be stopped. Did we not notice how Abdulsalam was giving him close marking? He knew that the mumu guy can do something silly if not tamed.

Also, Abdulsalam Abubakar is a big thief who sold democracy to Nigeria at the price of our foreign reserves. He is coaching GEJ on how to become a celebrated thief as he is.

My own is that that guy should return all our money. He shouldn't use our common wealth to drink ogogoro oo. I don't care if he doesn't go to jail, but the new government must negotiate the return of his loots. If not, I may conclude that GMB has bought the presidency with the stolen money too.
