In a recent interview on Channels Television, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Olumuyiwa Adejobi, shed light on why the Nigerian police cannot arrest controversial crossdresser, Bobrisky, and others like him.
Adejobi explained that while the crossdressing lifestyle might not align with societal norms, it is not a criminal offense under the Nigerian law. He emphasized that the police are bound by the law and cannot arrest individuals based solely on their choice of clothing or lifestyle.
"Bobrisky and others like him are free to express themselves as they choose. Wearing women's clothing or makeup is not a criminal offense in Nigeria," Adejobi stated during the interview.
He further clarified that the police can only act within the confines of the law and when a crime has been committed. "Our duty is to enforce the law, and as long as an individual is not breaking any laws, we cannot arrest them," Adejobi added.
Oga police officer, Did I just hear Bobrisky and others like him? Eweeee! Brotherhood son suffer. Let me contact Portable about this?😆😀

Kelechi009: Those cases are far different, those ones already had kids in those countries. She is referring to 40+ newly coming to struggle from the beginning.
Any 40+ that travels abroad at that age is setting themselves up for failure.
That's a very big lie because of you have your roadmap and experience without too much expectations, they will succeed. Many 40+ have seen live so they will know how to do their things.
ablejesus26: Guy no pray to see situation wey hungry people go loot your business and years of Labor dry, that shit fit make person fall down die if him heart no strong oo.

Rich4god: This looting is happening and we are all laughing as if it's a joke.
One day, they will start attacking individuals who went to market to buy food for his household. They will go into market and loot shops belonging to individuals that sells food.
This is not a laughing matter, if govt can't act fast, it will be too late to control the mobs.
Dey blow grammar for there people dey h like mad. Your govt is wicked and bad. The hunger and hardship in the country is artificially created by the useless go t of the day. Evil people!
Alexlalax1: We are our own worst enemy, they have crippled alot of businesses with their epileptic power supplies yet they are smiling to the bank. I'll continue to say it, an average Nigerian is greedy and self centered.
Caused by APC during PMB era and Babablublu is not even helping matters . In conclusion, it is a problem caused by APC and worsen by APC. Na APC problem. This present govt will always find someone to put the blame on.
Judolisco: police gave u 15k for 1992? Otunba lamba
I wish I had a phone then, I would have taken a photo for you to see. You can doubt it because we all know the police are but I told you the truth. Take it or leave it after all I am not here to make up story for anyone.
Mine was in1992 when I went to see a friend at Ajao Estate, near Lagos International airport, Ikeja. So as I was going to my guy's street an old Mercedes Benz car stopped by my side suddenly and one of the men inside came out and sprayed my face with tear gas and they bundled me inside the car. Before I know what was happening, I was at the Ajao Estate police station. All I heard was this is one of the armed robbers that just robbed chief, I said I am not a thief. So I waited for a while and after my eyes have cleared the woman police at the counter said I should write a statement to implicate myself that I was the gang leader. I said no I won't write anything. Before I could say Jack Robinson, the lady officer wrote a statement on my behalf and she gave to me to sign, I said no. She informed the DPO who came ordered that I be put in the cell. That's how I was put in the cell ooo for 24 hours till the next day. Luckily for me, my friend that I was going to visit, his father came to the police station and he was a senior army officer. Upon sighting the man I started shouting from the cell, calling his name and his son's name who is my friend. The man heard the voice and came to check the person calling him. He knows me quite well. So he asked what brought me to the police station. I narrated my ordeal so he angrily summoned the DPO and DCO as well as the IPO to come and release me immediately. When I came out from the cell, I saw the DPO and DCO pleading with him to calm down. It wasn't easy at oo. To cut the story short, the DPO put me in his own car and drove me home begging me to forget what happened. DPO gave me 15k to go to hospital to take care of myself. That experyis what I will never forget. Police is not your friend oo
