That's too bad. Some people just like taking undue advantage and making things difficult for the innocent ones. I searched for data SME retailer sometimes in May 2015, in other to reduce the amount spent on data, since its cheaper compared to buying directly from MTN, imagine paying 2000naira for 750Mb when you can get 1Gb for 1300. So I got a guy, I have never seen him, I called him to be sure and arranged for 1Gb, my sister was even skeptical the guy might not send it, but he did. Funny enough the next time I ordered for data he sent 2Gig due to network problem and I paid for the extra gig. Ever since I buy almost every week from him. You can imagine how much he would have made. It pays to be sincere. |

DebbyChris: Lol
My 5years old sis was talking with a girl in our neighbourhood, and she said she wonder who will be cooking for them when sis debby(me) marries. Lol it was my neighbour that over heard it and told me we laughed out loud that day. Children are funny, special and wonderful, with an innocent heart. Be bold, say you want a husband. But look before you leap, marriage is a lifelong contract, choose wisely. Goodluck |

Crime › Re: My Experience With Robbers Last Night by firfinch(m): 11:10pm On Oct 14, 2015*. Modified: 8:06pm On Oct 16, 2015 |
Missali: At 11pm last night, I was awoken from sleep when I heard footsteps at the window. There is a curfew at 7pm and at that late hour, it is expected that people are in their various houses. This is not the fist time robbers have attempted to break into my house but this was intense.
I quietly got up from the sitting room floor I was laying on and moved to the bedroom to join my grandmother and baby cousin on the bed. Gradually, the footsteps heightened and from the room window I could see men standing. My heart sank and I suddenly, I had a hard time breathing. My grandma tried to calm me down and it seemed to worsen.
I wasn't wearing any cloths and I usually sleep and thought of getting something to put on. These robbers sometimes rape girls and it doesn't help to be naked in the first place. That would cause some noise so I decided to forego the thought.
They started to spread out. A number of them moved the front and some went far out to the background. The ones at our window kept talking in whispers. I really couldn't fathom what they were saying as my heart was racing faster than I could ever imagine and suddenly I heard these words 'pass me my gun.'
I think I died! Immediately I turned into a prayer warrior, mumbling incoherently in whatever tongues I could speak. I asked God to forgive my sins, I thought of hiding under the bed or inside my grandmother's wardrobe. But what about her and my cousin of 4years? I tapped grandma to tell her what I just heard and she assured me to keep calm, my cousin on the other hand was very much asleep. I instantly wished I could turn into a child and be unaware of what was going on in my surrounding.
Taking a pillow I covered my head and put a fingerin each ear. Their voices grew louder and just then, a dog started to bark. I have always hated that dog (and all dogs generally), but I think it helped us.It barked violently from a distance and seized a bit. Then resumed, this time even more and came towards our window, running and barking. I could hear the footsteps of the thieves fading as the dog got near and soon after, there was a heavy downpour; the kind that shook the place.
They went to other people's Windows and probably other compounds. The rate of robbery in some parts of Rivers State is becoming alarming. Needless to say, I am not sleeping at home tonight. Should my heart keep skipping this way, I may have hypertension before 20. All I see is a bright up-coming writer. Nice composition. Mind catching story line. . . Now you will appreciate and value dogs as man's best friend. Keep it up! |

StepTwo: of course they'll be problems with the customs, I dont know about their charges though, but am sure its nothing compared with the gain you'll make from the biz, not sure about the transport rate either, but from dealers, its not that bad. Okay, thanks for your timely response. I'm just worried the goods might be seized by customs and border patrol officers. |

StepTwo: Bros, if you are anywhere around lagos or environs, you can travel to cotonou as d other guy said, get good 2nd grade clothes and start up, u may just need an umbrella for dia biz.
or you can do importation, you can start this through anyone who orders, and den subsequently u start doing your own direct ordering, you can get gadgets or anything u knw is high on demand. this is how I started importation and I can tell you, it pays a great deal. I started with fones and later expanded to laptops and now I have included wrist watches etc.
goodluck to you. Nice one. But will there be no problems with the customs bringing in clothes from cotonou? What is the transport rate? |

Pinkiedearie: ..seriously?..10k for each month or ten months? Yes, 10k for each month. They will pay you up to ten months. Though bank charges 105naira on each allowance. The payment was delayed till march when we were paid 20k for Jan and Feb (excluding Nov 2012 Orientation camp, and Dec). We were paid 8 months before passing out on 10th Oct 2013, and the remaining two months were paid when we had returned to our respective states. One in Nov and the second one in Dec.

BMedia: The North is over 70% of Nigeria's land mass, over 60% of the population, and has the highest number of states. What's the complaint. But there are the least educated and least advanced! Education is very important to nation's building and development. When it comes to JAMB cut off the northern institutions are always lower than those of others regions. Is that to mean that there are no competent people from other regions? |

TunjiMsp: even on savings remember you do pay for SMS alert Eco bank is becoming something else. They even deduct money from savings account monthly. They charge over 100 naira against your account, apart from sms alert charges. You can imagine paying for 11 sms when you actually got 4 in a particular month! I was forced to withdraw all my balance before july ended. I'm taking my money to another bank. I wonder why you will be charged when you have their required minimum balance. This act does not encourage keeping money in the bank. If I keep loosing money for saving my money with Ecobank, then what is the essence of keeping my money with them? Money that is supposed to generate interests for me keep decreasing. The appropriate bodies should look into this matter, and stop this extortion by #Ecobank ng. |
