It is because the appropriate authorities have failed in their duties. People revenge on criminals when caught, especially when they remember their experiences, or what somebody close to them has suffered in the past. People don't believe in trying thise caught in the act in law court because it drags and it may be compromised. No you hear of arrests and after some time you won't hear anything about it again. I'm not in anyway in support of jungle justice, because innocent people may be victims. The government at all levels must wake up to their responsibilities and regain people trust in ensuring that justice is delivered timely ans appropriatly.

This is interestingly sad. He must be an enemy within, he knew the shop and the owner well (he's aware that they don't use those locks that welder put, that would have prevented the gap). He doesn't want to break the key, he just wanted to steal and leave the gate intact, if he had succeeded, the owner would just be wondering that things are missing from the shop or the person in charge will be wrongly accused. Looking at the scene, it seemed he climed more that one gallon and probably something happened or because of the way he was struggling on it the second one fell off leading to his tragic and sudden death.

Well, the fact is that they got it when they needed it, and some for confidentiality (you may have people close to you who have, but you can't ask them, just to maintain your prestige and value). But it really can be annoying when people come to borrow money from you knowing that they wont pay back. If I lend you one naira, I will ask for it because it's not a gify. Some people will even be telling you that you don't need your money now, you have something to fall on, not minding the sacrifice you are making.
