mrfreestuff: Crypto and its whatever were not banned sir.
Seems you need your own advice because talk is cheap if you are struggling to comprehend a one-page memo issued by the CBN.
The social cost is huge to a country like Nigeria and its already setting us back even faster than corruption did so I support anything good for my fatherland. Did you even read the memo, or you are just having difficulty comprehending the content?

Esseite: Atiku is just chasing clout... CBN took the best decision.
Unregulated Crypto currency is a lazy investment that tilts more on outflow of FX rather than inflow.. it is death sentence to import dominated countries.
E.g- I buy bitcoin with N10m that would be domiciled in source Nation(not Nigeria).. if it rises in 1 year by maybe 10%, I may have gained 1m as an individual, but I have starved my country economy of recycling my 10m if it was domiciled in a Nigerian bank or invested into the society which could have produced more than 10% while creating jobs.. note as an import dominated nation, the chance of loosing that 1m as another escaped forex is 95% on foreign goods while 5% I may spend on local food.
The Nigerian greed for small margins has blinded a lot of people, imagine Crypto currency trading far beyond your indigenous Stock exchange and some feel it's okay Do you have an understanding of the workings of crypto at all? Is it owned by any country in particular? Crypto is not regulated in any way like the traditional currency. 1btc soared to over 40,000$, what more? What job or provision has been created by our government over the years? Please make your findings and talk with facts. |

supportnija: And you think if they something like that bank will not be aware, OP stop typing because you feel like typing, all these security are embedded in your ATM chip ,it will not bypass. That is absolutely correct, not all online payments required your ATM pin, I'm not even talking about fraudsters, I'm talking about legitimate sites, once you enter your card details, payment is completed. That is why it is very important you keep your card well. |
Business › Re: Be Careful When Making A Transaction At A POS Terminal (Here Is Why) by firfinch(m): 9:04pm On Nov 18, 2020 |
Donjazzy12: No fraudster can take money from your account without your ATM pin. Please DON'T say that again, that's why they said information is power. What is described by the OP is very possible. There are some sites that do not require pin code to make payment, once you enter card number name on the card, expiry date and that number at the back, your payment is done. The thing is, you will get notified, but at that point there's nothing you can do again. My friend once used my card for payment, I got notified but the money was still in my account, when I called him he said he didn't use my card, (mind you he used my card four days earlier, but the money was just taken, so he didn't know). I hurriedly blocked my card hoping the money will not be deducted, but it was too late. Though that was a legitimate transaction I was only scare because I thought it was another person carrying out transaction on my card. Again they usually process this transactions in the middle of the night, days after the transaction has been initiated. |

AdamsAbubakar: I tend to forget where I keep my stuff easily, and it's really annoying. I may do something right now and forget it seconds later. Ironically, I remember things like names of people, what people said and the faces of people easily and accurately. I can still remember the surnames and names of my ex-classmates in secondary school perfectly, and the names and surnames of 202 people in my class at the University level.
My forgetfulness, however, petrifies me a lot as I'm 22 years old. What could be wrong? Should I be worried or it's normal at such an age?
Mods please help me push it to the FP let me get replies from the good people of NL. Testing... I have a PDF that could help you. Watch out

anjilgreat: Hope you reside in Lagos because you will need to send the signed hard copy of the form to them? According to both Morgan capital and Meristem, CSCS no longer accepts scanned soft copies of the transfer form even in this era of technology!
If you reside outside Lagos, it is better you sign at least 20 copies of the transfer form and post it to your stockbroker for this outstanding dividend and for future ones especially for a different registrar to avoid another cycle of future disappointment due to transfer forms issues. You don't need to sign or send physical forms on wealth.ng just register and complete your verification process, your dividends will drop in your wallet or bank according to your choice. |
