Shittu knows what is chasing him and he also knows what he is chasing, but in all his chasings, may he never find fulfillment. Ise |
Babangida's actions and inactions contributed to more than 90% of Nigeria's dilapidated state today. Posterity should never forgive him. |
We don't like earning things in this country, probably because from childhood we have always been fed with a sense of entitlement. If you want to be a medical doctor, please by all means earn it. Don't go and be something close to a medical doctor and start claiming rights. Some of these people in the medical line will get so pompous to the point that they start questioning what doctors do exactly. If MBBS does not matter, then please stop attaching yourself to all the benefits accrued to someone that sacrificed a lot to earn that coveted degree. A doctor is different from other practitioners. They earned that, at least give them due credit. |
This is the most confusing story I have read this year. Since I do not understand the message being passed across, let me just read comments. |
What is the difference between six and half a dozen? Semantics. A third force involving same set of people, with same thinking and ideology that has set us on the path of perdition. What exactly do they have to offer? |
In other words, "If person own no spoil, another person own no go better". I wonder what the thousands of people undergoing suffering now will say concerning same Buhari. I wonder what people that had/has their farms pillaged by the Fulani herdsmen will have to say. I wonder, I wonder and I keep wondering. ![]() |
Papanwamaikpe:That is not vanity. He resells the Bugatti and an even higher price. He is a wise business man. |
Arnold, the action man. Teacher: Who is your favourite action hero? Student: Arnold schwarzenegger. Teacher: Spell it. Student: It is a lie o. My favourite action hero is Jet Li. |
When you have money, you are capable of doing almost anything. There is someone lying on the sick bed presently, needing just N500k for surgery to commence on him. His family running helter skelter to make sure they gather the money and give him a chance at life. And here is someone blowing money on breast reduction, not because her breasts were gargantuan or unappealing, but because she just wants it. Just like a guy walking into the salon and saying I need to have a lowcut, I am tired of this afro, that's the same ease she walked into the theater to get her breasts reduced. This Uwa is hard. |
Fresh. Beard has a special transforming effect on the wearer. Have a well maintained beards, and voila you are a handsome somebody. Let it grow haphazardly and also ill maintained and you become a sane madman. |
It is something that is alive and living that you use the word "survive" for. The term "Nigeria" is just what it is, a mere term. Its structure and composition is a scam in itself. So, for you to ask if Nigeria can survive without a particular ethnic group, you are not only being weirdly funny, but ignorantly mischievous. These are the questions you should rather seek answers to: 1. Can Nigeria's so called leaders survive without corruption? 2. Can governors survive if Nigeria becomes "oiless" tomorrow? 3. Can we ever escape the culture of getting it worse with each successive government voted in? 4. Can any president perform well under the present structure? etc..... |
Oliseh is anti-establishment. He belongs to the category of people that questions the status quo and are ready to pursue anything they deem logical to the last end. The club won its first silverware under his supervision for the first time in 21 years, but the management feels he is too autonomous in his handling. Of course he has to, that's why they saw changes. Oliseh, weldone. Keep making us proud. |
If there is any celebrity at all that I truly wish marital bliss, it is this Timi Dakolo. Man's committed to his marriage and family. |
Who released the list? Some of you guys can be overzealous at time. Very soon, you will start releasing manifestoes on their behalves |
Okorocha; A case of a hero turned zero. |
That is the way. I love the idea of the camera on the dashboard. |
Weldone pensmith. I commend the fact that you are penning down your experience while still serving. I hope to do mine after service year. You are an amazing writer, with a unique style. You also know how to make use of the write words for effects. Thanks for taking your time to share this beautiful experience with us. As for my reaction towards your story, I'd say you are seriously starving us of details. I read your disclaimer from the beginning, but I was not expecting this kind of bland reading experience. The way you breezed past the three weeks of camping without sharing the adventurous escapades that ought to make your story juicy, makes the story looks like one you intend rushing. As the story progresses, do well to feed our curiosity. When I see someone trying to relieve their service year experience, I expect lot of intriguing moments. Tell us about other people experiences if you don't have much of yours. Let us into Langtang North. You are the "I no like stress" kind of person, so I get why you are only dwelling on what you feel is important. But, for the sake of hooking your audience down, let's have the GHEN GHEN moments too... Bring it on Miss Ghost. I am with you all the way of the ride..... |
This is hilarious. Let me add my own * Create a thread about how you have found the new truth and decided to embrace atheism, thereby freeing yourself from the shackles of religion. Keypoint: Attack Christianity as a religion. |
This primary school problem below has proved too tough for me to crack. I have sought opinions from a lot of people, but we all end up hitting a dead end. A lot of people even concluded the problem in itself is wrong, but I know the answer lies there. Nairaland's education section is my last resort now. All the eficos should please help with the answer accompanied by a detailed explanation. Thanks Cc: fynestboi Iamolusa
