Let's think about this for a Lil bit. Imagine if Nigeria closes its affected area(Lagos) like other countries are doing, thereby quarantine the whole city to prevent spread. Just imagine the effect, the economic activity of the county will shutdown because the FG thought it was a good idea to put everything in one place.

If it gets to that, I pray it doesn't, but if it does, people are going to go hungry.
And the worst part is that none of them will even be thinking what you have just thought out now. They will not see this far o. They will let everything remain as usual

Why don't you?

Might it be the same reason you abandoned the belief in God? Might you be so disillusioned with everything, you feel it's no good asking questions? Just sit down and take it, till you finish your evolution-allocated time?

Why should we prove anything to you.
I don't see the importance of God.
I am okay with a universe without a creator.
The problem is with you theists who are not comfortable with a Godless universe.
Fucklikants who think they are so special that a powerful being is watching for them or has a purpose for them.
You complain on daily basis why the government is bad, why the society is getting uglier. Why this and why that.

You are not okay with anything. You can't find any answer to any of your troubling questions. (Except that you are praying, [no hoping], to live a mere 100 years of hard-hitting life and then die off.)

But the real reasonable and satisfying answers lie with a believe in God and understanding of what the Bible teaches.

Bro, you have not asked a logical question.

Atheists would devour you with such shallow questions.

Ask them more challenging questions like what are their views on magic not illusions.

With what power do magicians perform?
I know what my own views are. But they said I have been deceived. I want them to prove to me why I am the deceived one

Christianity EtcChallenge To Nairaland Atheists by Firstnebo(op):
There is a person that has the authority and the power to be identified as God because he alone ever existed. He is the source of life. He created all things. He inspired the holy book known as the Bible (for the purpose of bringing man to his original purpose of creating the earth).

God is the most powerful, the wisest, with the most love, and the most just of all other persons or things that live or have ever lived, whether in heaven, or on earth.

Atheism in its basic form is the belief that there is no God. Their major attack is on Christianity and especially on the Bible. They promote the theory of evolution.

So here is the challenge, I want Nairaland atheists to come and prove my Belief in the God I described above and his word the Bible as false.

In logical order. One point at a time before we move to another. With evidence and logic. No insults.

Shut up with usual rubbish

Why didn't you quote the part that said that the earth is flat.
The sun revolves around the earth
The moon has its own light etc?

The Earth is a flat disk in shape, like a dinner plate, and rests upon mountain pillars.
“It is [God] who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them like a tent to live in.” — Isa. 40:22

The stars are little lights in the sky that are capable of falling to Earth like meteorites.
“Immediately after the suffering of [66-70 C.E.] the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of heaven will be shaken [Matthew 24:29].” The Christian Testament's many predictions of the end of the world coming well before 100 C.E. are also erroneous.
Except the fact that you are also angry, you are nothing but incoherent.

Can you really string your thoughts well so that you might even understand yourself?

How can you charge that the Bible said the Earth is flat, yet you quoted a scripture that specifically said the Earth is "circle"?

I love science
I've studied science all my life but this new... shocked
Where did the water go to? Cos according to biogeochemical cycle, nothing on earth is ever wasted cos it's a closed system.
Reserve your "love" for God.

Some of the things people call science today are not actually science but propaganda.

Actual science basically stands for four things: Observation >> Hypothesis >> Experiment >> Theory. But today they like to bypass some of these things and teach us nonsense with projected, manipulated simulations.

Now going back to the case of the Earth being totally covered by water. Why is this a new fact? Is this not what God has already told us thousands of years back through the Bible? In the very second verse of the Bible - Genesis 1:2 "Now the earth was formless and empty, and there was darkness upon the surface of the watery deep, and God's spirit was moving about over the surface of the waters."

See? 1) The earth was empty. 2) And there was only darkness then. 3) The earth was covered by a watery deep. And 4) God's spirit started working on the waters in other to shift it one side so that the land can appear, and creating other things.

Coming to your question "Where did the water go?"

The answer is that the water didn't go, but God caused high mountains and hills to rise and deep ocean and sea levels to descend thereby creating large "earthen bowels" to hold in the waters while given much space for bare land. (Water space is still much larger than land space. They say water cover 70% of the Earth surface)

So your feet is on your head na? Or he bend to wash 12 people's feet? Every drawing illustration points to Jesus kneeling - it only makes sense.

You can go back to your babaric culture of flogging women and men as proposal though, no one is stopping you. YOu guys forget that without Whites, most of you will be dead from one illness or the other.
Or do you not know that by dumping their technology on a commercial scale on us, they dumbed down, hampered, hindered, and deleted our own technologies

Even at that, he played the fool. He will learn his lesson after this.

If I came with you to a public place as that, and I offended you. The fact that you abandoned me there and started leaving abruptly will already be counted by me as a revenge on your part. I will never beg you in that public because I would have considered your action as a disrespect (I can beg you stealthily though. But if you try to make it public it ends immediately. That place did not mention that he was kneeling. He could have been in any relevant position to do so. Even if he was kneeling, the kneeling was not the point.

But in proposal, the kneeling is made to be the point. Yikes!

Kneeling to propose doesn't belong to the Whites. That's like saying stealing and corruption belongs to black.

Don't forget your tradition is really babaric and some used to flog mens butt with koboko as a sign of proposal. lol
Lol.

But I don't see any reason why a man needs to kneel for a woman to show love. Why kneel to a woman?

Would Jesus kneel to a man to show he loves men?

What we need in this information age is not just information but consideration.

Even when you may seem to have the upper hand at a particular moment, how considerate are you about the other person

many men think they are their women's one and only....cheating women dont tell their men they are cheating, because they need to keep the gift/money/handouts coming.

this man should only take half of the blame, the other half should go to that foolish woman who couldnt give this man (she is dating) proper respect. there are many ways to turn a man down, and the way she reacts will tell you the type of woman she is..... the above clearly shows the type of low life woman she is.
I do not even want to talk much about that girl. I have dealt with her type. She is capable of poisoning her husband so that she can continue selling her body short.

I mean no man in her right mind can seriously see that video and still want anything with her. (Unless short time arrangement. Which may even be dangerous, as they tend to take their boyfriends' pictures and cases to uncanny shrines)

There is a story currently on front page right now about the humiliation of one proposing young man? (Video link below).

What rubbish was that? On what level of low self-esteem was that guy. Jeez!!!

Was that his first time of public embarrassment? Why didn't he leg go at the first negative reaction of the uncultured girl. (This experience could have been bad only for this girl if he had let go earlier. Now it's a humiliation for both of them. Sad)

Now let's talk about public proposal, (if that was a proposal).

You see videos of and pics of successful proposal, you don't ask yourself what made it successfully and pleasant.

Just a tip: before a man will get to the point of public proposal, both party are already seriously dating and have talked about courting. The man should know for sure what the response of the lady would be. (The public proposal is just a mere show of what has already been decided by the couple. The only thing is that the lady does not know the exact day it will happen, but she must already be in expectation. The element of surprise and the creativity is the thrill, not lack of knowledge)

Nawa o. This guy must be going through some measure bad feelings now. (It will only make him emotionally stronger and wiser though)

If you don't do as I say or dare to question me, I'm out/not going to give you the one thing you desperately want, in this case-marriage. Dangling the carrot in front of the donkey, to get it to move in the direction you want. If she continues with this cycle, she's going to end up losing her voice. He's beating her down & the more it happens, it is more likely that she'll tolerate almost anything from him, to avoid upsetting him. The ring is now his trump card. She should put the engagement on hold, to take away that power from him, until he learns mature communication & conflict resolution. Or better yet, let him walk.
Please, what's a "trump card"?
