Hey fams, my wife's visa was approved but we noticed that she was issued an F-1 visa, not the F-2 visa we applied for. Kindly advise on how to contact the US embassy in Abuja. |

Hello scholars! When applying for the F-2 visa, can I use a scanned copy of his US bank account statement sent to me by my hubby whos on F1 visa? I have a deficit of $300 on the I-20 issued to my hubby by his University. He's currently doing his PhD. |

Mr. Man! Must you comment on every post! If you don't have anything better to say, just pass CptCharlesVane: dislike sneaky requests. Ask yourself how would what you have written here be of any help to others when they read much later when you’ve got what you’re after. If there’s anything I regret is responding privately to people who couldn’t even out of common courtesy to share their admission and funding decisions and steps they took from then on, they just ghosted...bunch of selfish people steady lurking around to always take take and TAKE
Your previous comment asked for PhD schools, now you’re asking people to help you/a guy to make a decision on funded offers.
Tell a guy to share which schools are offering what because people who do also know how to keep secrets but you are here because they were foolish enough to put up their embarrassing scores grades and even average school admissions.
By the way how is any of this your business sef...Are you his father? Let who has time and data tell you and a guy what to do about top school, average school and stipends. |

Oluwa wetin dey happen SuomyNona: This one almost scammed me until I searched online and discovered the actual B2consulting have different contact details. I contacted the real B2consulting at the stated address and they denied knowing the person operating this nairaland account and informed me that they have no affiliation to him.
Unfortunately, I have given this guy my details and he has started pestering me to transfer the fee to him. He quickly changed my TOEFL account password, trying to use that to tie me to him. I simply changed it back and instantly blocked his WhatsApp and number from calling me.
it is crazy out here, it is safer to just go with reputable third-party vendors and not minding the little extra pay.
God will judge evildoers ripping people off their money. |

Some schools do send the recommendation link to your referees before you pay the application fee. I know of Louisiana State University and the University of Illinois at Chicago. The two send the referee an email once you enter their details sampatdikachi: Hi. Thanks to all those who take out time to answer many of our questions. Please, I would like to know how the online recommendation works. Is the link sent to the emails of lecturers provided after or before the payment of the application fee? knowing this will let me know if I should further pressure my uncle about the money. |

Thank you for the detailed write-up. I had a resit of the exam last week. I got same score verbal score as yours but Q was 160. I will also use this medium to advise people not to focus too much on the vocabs. During my exam, about five-question were in the Q section repeated. While preparing, I was only fixated on learning the common words in Magoosh. For the verbal, I will advise everyone to always paraphrase the RC before answering. if you try this method, you will be amazed at your result. On the Q section, I had fewer questions on probability and counting. md17: Please where did you register for 55k |
