kelechiodo: I have long concluded that this woman has a mental problem so commenting on her tweet is just waste of time. Just read her "Bianca and I never got along in our teenage school days in the UK especially when I took sides with FFK over the Igbo deportation controversy with Tunde Fashola". So the deportation that happened when Fashola was the governor of Lagos state occured in your teenage school days. Then after the deporation, Bianca left London and "went home, became a beauty Queen and then married Ikemba".
Problem is that her zigzag mind has made her to lose sense of time and logical coherence. Did she say Babatunde Fashola deport Igbo as governor? That narration probably means, argument between four people (Fashola, Kemi, FFK and Bianca) while FFK & Bianca aligned together in their argument on Igbo deportation, Kemi surported Fashola in the argument as students in same university. Learn how to read and comprehend. |

OfoIgbo: Xenophobia in Lagos is beginning to yield fruits.
There is no reason Abuja should be ahead of Lagos, especially as Lagos is the commercial/financial capital of Nigeria.
The last two years of Tinubu's administration is beginning to gradually destroy the economic attraction and potentials of Lagos If xenophobia is start existing in Lagos, why can't you guys move to ur own state? Abi, it's an abomination to develop ur own State? Who told you, xenophobic won't catch up with you in Abuja in future? |

Armaggedon: I wonder how anybody will find this surprising. This is just part of a larger trend. Abuja with better plan, better road network, smooth traffic, busier airport and most importantly, peaceful coexistence among the ethnic groups who dominate it ie Igbos, middle belt and South South guys etc Abuja is poised to overtake Lagos. The surprising thing is that it's not only happening faster than expected but it's happening in several ways at Lagos expense. This shows that investors are sensitive to the increasing volatility of Lagos in the past few years, as predicted. Wen u have been expanding for long, it would get to a level, in which, ur marginal expansion, would be " diminishing while the total outputs would be increasing ", Lagos is full already, hence the investors are looking for other areas where it's spacious enough for their investments. First, compare the amount of money you would use to get plots of land in Lagos, to Abuja, asides that, where is even the land in Lagos? Compare that to Abuja, with very large unused land till date. Ordinary Uniabuja was boasting of 11 hectares of land until Wike grabbed it. Reason in that direction and not from negative point of view ok.

You guys in this generation are messed up and seriously blind to spiritual realities and eternal consequences of unguarded utterances. Better ask God for mercy!
Exodus 20:7 “You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God, for the LORD will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.
Matthew 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
2 Peter 2:9-12 9. The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment, 10. and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries, 11. whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the Lord. 12. But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption, Stop giving attentions to who doesn't deserve it, and stop fighting for God/gods. He would surely fight for himself in appropriate time. |

Why are people confortable with moving into a party and kicking everyone to the side while they take charge. So those that have been there ensuring its survival are mad people or just pieces of furniture? David Mark and his co-travellers need to sit down with the chairmen and find a mid-point else the party went even field any candidate, coalition or otherwise Keep on writing English to express your nonsense. Democracy sweets where there are strong oppositions, and this usually forcing govt in power to deliver, wen they deliver, that's wen you, as citizen would enjoy the govt u are following blindly, though, if truly you like urself and ur unborn children.

ponziponzi: The fuel importers are the oligopolists. They contribute nothing to the country and have been holding the country hostage for years. If they want to compete as they claim, they should build their refineries here in Nigeria, employ Nigerians to refine it. Tell people who understand economics to tell you, the meaning of oligopoly, I already know the terminology would confuse you Meanwhile, Tell Ur Dangote to compete in the same conditions with importers and win in a more dignified way, I think they say he is richest, he shouldn't fear competition nah. |
Politics › Re: Fuel Imports Surge To 71% As Marketers Ditch Local Refineries by Fiscus105(m): 1:02pm On Aug 04, 2025 |
ponziponzi: This thought process is faulty. You can’t allow others to dump products in your country to undermine your local industries just so you can get cheaper price. What if they are selling the products below market value just to make sure the local industries are not viable. That is the reason countries place tariffs on imported product to give equal playing field to local industries because it is the local industries that creates wealth and jobs for the country not the imported products. You should also know, nations shouldn't protect economy to the advantages of few oligopolists. |
