IronGalaxy: My brothers on Twitter mirror your tendencies, they are you to your own game. Nobody goes around "bragging" like Nigerians, you and I know this... its a marker of your nationality Playing dumb seems to be your specialty. I'll leave it at that. Good luck at the World Cup. |

IronGalaxy: No, we don't do that.. South Africans arent wired like that.. bragging, shading, arrogance..is more Nigerian. We're simply responding to the constant putting down and belittling your people are fond of.. Unless you want to play dumb, maybe you should go look at your brothers on Twitter. Or better yet, get a mirror. |

charlesemeka85: Bros stop arguing. In terms of African football SA has more pedegree than Mali
Mali wey never smell afcon trophy let alone qualifying for the World Cup na wey u take dey compare SA?
Haba!! Oga I respectfully disagree with you. I respect Mali more than SA. Let's end it there! |

IronGalaxy: which part here is an excuse? Were we robbed or not? Pointing out the reasons why Nigeria lost the World Cup ticket is an excuse but doing the same to explain South Africa's shambolic AFCON performance is not excuse...? Yeah, you're comfortably delusional. And a bit of a hypocrite as well. |

charlesemeka85: head to head Mali tops SA doesn’t mean they have more pedegree over them
SA na yoyo team but hv achieved more than Mali in football Head to head results are one of the most direct measures of competitive superiority. If Mali consistently beats South Africa when they actually face each other on the pitch, then it shows they can handle the pressure and tactics of that specific opponent when it matters. Historical achievements from decades ago no go help you win the match wey go happen today today. |

charlesemeka85: when it comes to talent production Mali tops SA but SA have qualified for 3-4 world cups if I’m not mistaken and also won the afcon World Cup qualification wey dem qualify properly for this first time in 20 years. No wam. Anyway, head to head, Mali is better. |

IronGalaxy: Insulting me doesn't change the fact that you beat a below-par Tunisian team, even its star player, Hannibal.. admitted this as much after their elimination. Same way you lost to a below par Egypt team who were down by 10 men. We can do this all day bruh. |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by FiveFootNinja(m): 2:23pm On Jan 05 |
charlesemeka85: yes when it comes to youth football Mali tops SA in Africa but men’s football SA tops Mali in terms of achievement and pedegree
Mali is one of the worst underachievers in African football history. Mali have a deeper pool of talent as well as constant features in the AFCON over SA. If not for trophy wey SA carry in 1996, what else does SA have over Mali in terms of achievements? Only thing I can think of is WC qualification, but for SA that happens like once in every 25 years. |

IronGalaxy: No South African expects us to win the world cup, so you're not really making a groundbreaking revelation here.. but we passed a hurdle you couldn't.. what does that make you? Also you won't win this tournament too.. you guys still clearly living on the idea you're big Dawgs that boat has sailed.. The hurdle we couldn't pass was administrative corruption, not football ability. We have that in spades. You on the other hand lack the talent. In fairness to you, you have structure. But there's only so much structure can accomplish. |

IronGalaxy: You almost topped that group not by defeating us but by having our points docked.. let it also be said, your group was darn easy.. lets see when you meet, Congo, Morocco, Algeria etc. We already met a top tier team in Tunisia. We embarrassed them for majority of the game. When was the last time you straight up beat a top tier team? Go ahead. I'll wait. |

IronGalaxy: A team with no wins is somehow in better form than a team with none? Ok. Bruh, your attack is dogwater. You rotate the ball endlessly with nothing to show for it. You scored only 3 clear goals this tournament. Talk about maximum input with zero output. |

IronGalaxy: At what point do we talk form over pedigree.? Even form wise, Mali and DRC clears your team. YOU couldn't break down a ten-man Egypt squad. Your attack is easy to frustrate and neutralize. Is it Mali that is playing 5-5-1-1 haramball you think you can handle? |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by FiveFootNinja(m): 2:07pm On Jan 05 |
IronGalaxy: You couldnt beat us both legs though.. last Afcon it had to go to penalties. This current team is mid. We played with a depleted squad. Osimhen was absent. We just got a new coach. You were at the very top of your game and you had the advantage taking us to that pitiful potato form. If anything, you're the one who flopped those fixtures, just like you flopped in AFCON. |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by FiveFootNinja(m): 2:05pm On Jan 05 |
charlesemeka85: nah, SA has more pedegree in African footie than Mali Across the board that's not true. Mali's youth team are consistent performers. Also I think Mali have qualified for more AFCON tournaments in recent times. Plus they have a better head to head record. Mali have beat SA more times than SA have beat Mali. You can verify these things. |

IronGalaxy: You just know its vibes and bias talking not reality.. Mali drew all their games in this tournament, we won 2.. and all of our games, not one we were dominated.. the Egypt game we lost, we played Egypt off the park, and we lost due to officiating errors.. also Mali plays eyesore football while we play more of expansive, attractive football When it comes to football in Africa, Mali has a better pedigree than South Africa. Last time I checked their senior men's team also have a better head to head record against you bozos. |

IronGalaxy: The mouths are so big for a team that couldnt win a World Cup qualifiers group that had the likes of Lesotho, Zim and a "pitiful" South Africa in it.. Dude, we literally gave you guys a two-year headstart on the World Cup qualifiers and we still came from 5th place and almost topped the group on the last day. Lack of preparation cost us the ticket. Look how things are now that our squad is settled and beginning to gel. We secured 9 points out of 9 - one of only two teams to achieve this feat in this year's AFCON. It’s cute that you remember the qualifiers sha. Nostalgia is all you have left now that Cameroon has sent you to the departure lounge. |

CapitalCee: Which SouthAfrican got a starting place at Man Utd?
Radebe, Moshoeu, Pienaar, Fortune and Mccarthy are not World class. You cant xompare them with players like Drogba, Etoo, Osihmen,Ikpeba, Finidi, Sammy Kuffour. Mane,Yaya and Kolo Toure, Salah, Essien, Kanu etc.
SouthAfricans are about 245k-298k in the UK, while Nigeria is about 500k, which is not surprising considering that Nigeria is normally more populated and diverse than SouthAfrica. But that difference in Number doesnt account for the wide difference in the number of UK- born Nigerians who made it to these top NTs and clubs vs those of SouthAfrican decents. In the case of Ghana, there are more UK born Southafricans than them, but from the top of my head, I can call Mainoo, Guehi, Nketiah and Acheampong. These are for English speaking countries oo, if you go to France you see French born Cameroonians, Senegalese, Malians, Burkinabes, Benenoise, etc. Just admit it You just dont have the natural footballing ability to excell above this your current level. You are even performing up to thos level because you are one of the exonomic super powers in Africa. They are an overachieving side and it's thanks to Hugo Broos. Banana banana won't realize how special and insane their 2023 AFCON semi final run was until they get grouped or dropped in the Round of 16 again for the next 3 editions of the tournament. Even when it comes to B-tier African footballing countries, I still rate Congo and Mali above them. |
